It wasn't too many years ago that Western governments were telling us Islamism was just a local issue and would not effect the West.  We are now seeing the beginning of the next wave of Islamic expansion only this time it is on a global scale.

Why?  Why?  Why?

Why are these fanatics not allowed to go their merry way to their doom as "martyrs" in the great jihad.  This article accurately lists every jihad tactic and intent in their quest to impose Islam on all of humanity and yet the government goes to great lengths to bring back Muslim fanatics into England.  It's no wonder Scotland Yard is "stretched" when the government continues to import more Muslims even as portions of English towns are being turned into Muslim "No Go Zones".

Terror-related crime 'stretches police' - Scotland Yard

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley: "Recruiting sergeants, funders, advocates, we have to tackle those people"

Police are being "stretched" by an "exceptionally high" number of inquiries into Islamist-related extremism, Scotland Yard has said.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley also said "dozens" of UK families had sought police help in stopping relatives travelling to Syria.

He spoke of a "step-change" in counter-terrorism as foreign conflicts such as the one in Syria attract UK nationals.

Mr Rowley said the challenge for police would "run for years".

There have been 218 terrorism-related arrests in the England, Scotland and Wales this year, with 16 people charged with alleged extremist activity in Syria.

Scotland Yard said the volume, range and pace of counter-terrorism activity had changed dramatically as conflicts in Syria and other countries drew in people from the UK.
'Complex conspiracies'

Mr Rowley - Scotland Yard head of counter-terrorism - added that the threat featured a "new dimension", amid growing fears over the influence of Islamic State (IS).

Nearly 500 new FGM cases identified

NHS figures show 467 newly identified cases of girls and women needing treatment after female genital mutilation in England last month.

A further 1,279 people, who had already been identified, were receiving treatment according to the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) data.

It is the first time the NHS has collected figures on the criminal act.

The children's charity the NSPCC said the numbers were "shocking".

The cutting of girls' genitalia has been illegal in Britain since 1985, but nobody has been convicted in the courts.

LAHORE: A court on Thursday upheld the death sentence of a Christian women convicted of blasphemy four years ago, as her lawyers vowed to appeal.

Aasia Bibi, a mother of five, has been on death row since November 2010 after she was found guilty of allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) during an argument with a Muslim woman.

“A two-judge bench of the Lahore High Court dismissed the appeal of Asia Bibi but we will file an appeal in the Supreme Court of Pakistan,” her lawyer Shakir Chaudhry told AFP.

As history has shown, Egypt's approach to combating Muslim extremism works.  Hopefully Holland and other Western countries which are currently giving in to Muslim extortion will see Egypt as an example of how to control Muslim extremism.

Street Preacher Charged With 'Religious Aggravation' for Comparing Jesus and Muhammad

Street evangelist Mike Overd, a client of the Christian Legal Centre, is being prosecuted in the United Kingdom for an alleged religious aggravation public order offense.

The charges follow a complaint to police in Taunton, that Overd made a comparison between the perfect life of Jesus and the life of Islam's prophet, Muhammad.

Police have informed the former paratrooper that the Crown Prosecution Service wishes to bring three charges against him under Section 5 of the Public Order Act.

A Taunton police sergeant recently gave an interview to BBC television and a newspaper locally, urging residents to film the evangelist's preaching as it was alleged that Overd's preaching was "causing offense."

Nancy Shukri, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of law, said the police concluded that his words were only directed at specific individuals, and not a threat to larger society.

"The statement he made was not intended to cause religious chaos but only to defend the sanctity of Islam," she said in a written parliamentary reply dated yesterday to a question by Bagan MP, Lim Guan Eng, on why Ibrahim had not been charged with sedition.

Lim had asked the prime minister to explain why Ibrahim had not been charged for calling on Muslims to burn Malay-language Bibles containing the word "Allah" and other Arabic words.
