HOPE FADES FOR RIZANA
Hopes fade for teenage housemaid sentenced to be beheaded in Saudi
This does not look good for Rizana. The arrogant Saudis are stonewalling the Sri Lanka government and the girls parents. Saudi Arabia has to be one of the most backward, barbaric regimes on earth. Saudi is of course the home of Islam so there are no surprises as to their lack of humanity.
This must be a wake up to the western world as to what Islam has in store for the rest of humanity. The Saudis are the foremost source of the spread of Wahaabi Islam in the west. They have spent billions to insinuate their supremist theology in an effort to dominate the world with Islam. If the Saudis are not stopped they will continue to create more inroads into western society.
This is not a clash of civilizations as some believe, this is war being waged by barbarians on the non-Muslim world. The march of Islam must be stopped in its tracks. It is ridiculous for western governments to continue to allow Islam to creep into their societies. Islam is slowly constricting the west like a boa constrictor.

Colombo, 29 July, (Asiantribune.com): The fate of the teenage housemaid, Rizma Nafeek -- sentenced by a Saudi court to be beheaded on charges of killing a four-month-old baby who was in her care -- seems to be sealed after the failure of the mission led by Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Bhaila to save her life. Media reports state Bhaila could not get an appointment with the key officials who could have given them some hope.
Arab media sources reported that the Saudi parents of the baby from whom the parents of Rizma were seeking clemency too have refused to meet them.
Rizna’s father Mohammed Nafeek and her mother, Razeena, are heart-broken as their hopes have been dashed by the refusal of the Saudi family to meet them. The teenager is held in a women’s prison facility in Al-Dawadmi, a town 340 km outside of Riyadh where the Saudi family that hired Nafeek lives.
The Saudi baby was placed in the care of Rizna in the second week of her being hired. She was only 17 – a minor with hardly any experience of handling a four-month-old baby. But the Saudi parents insist that it was a premeditated murder.
Despite this set back the Sri Lankan government is going ahead with the appeal. “We are currently preparing a detailed objection to file at court with all the details related to the case,” the lawyer, Kateb Al-Shammari, told Arab News.
Rizna’s age will be a key issue in the appeal. The forged passport records that she was 23 when the death occurred. Now she is 19. Saudi Arabia has signed an international agreement not to impose death penalty on minors – i.e, under the age of 18. The employment agency in Colombo, Sri Lanka that sent this under aged girl to Saudi had forged the passport to get her through to Saudi. Employment agencies tend to forge passports to send migrant workers abroad illegally. Their income depends on the number of migrant workers sent abroad. The appeal against the sentence is based partly on this issue.
Another issue will be the confession obtained from Rizna who had no knowledge of Arabic. The interrogation was in a language that she had no understanding. Her lawyer, Al Shammari said: “She clearly denied any wrongdoing in court. She mentioned that she was not totally aware of what she has been accused of due to the lack of a translator.” He also states that the baby accidentally choked to death. But the three- bench court sentenced her for murder.
Al-Shammari states that the case is in the early stages and that there is no need for the intervention of human rights organizations.
The fate of Rizna now depends on three-judge panel in Al-Dawadmi.
