WHY DO THEY STAY?

In an article in the London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Al-Arabiyya TV Director-General Abd Al-Rahman Al-Rashed criticized the hypocrisy of Islamist extremists who live and operate in the West. He said that while these extremists spread hatred for the West and incite against Western culture, at the same time they fight for the right to stay there.

"What makes fundamentalist extremists, who incite against the West and its culture, the first to run into its arms, and to fight [for the right] to stay there? Do they suffer from a split personality, with one [personality] endorsing an ideology of hate, and the other wanting to enjoy the principles [that form the basis] of life in the West? We have never heard of [these extremists] wanting to immigrate to Somalia or Pakistan, or [wanting to return] to their countries of origin. [This], despite all their sermons and writings about religious duty and love of the homeland, [and despite the fact that] they characterize others as 'infidels,' to the extent that some [extremists] even call to fight [these infidels]."

Why indeed do they stay where they seem so unhappy? Abd Al-Rahman Al-Rashed doesn’t seem to know why, but the reason is simple.

They stay to impose Islam on the world.

They stay because they are the vanguard of the latest wave of Jihad to challenge the West. They are here to infiltrate, insinuate, and become entrenched in our society in order to impose Islam. They use front organizations such as CAIR to vocalize imagined grievances in the media and to wage lawfare in our courts. They infiltrate the government posing as “advisors” to brainwash and hoodwink credulous officials. They offer to give “lessons” on Islam in our schools to make Islam seem innocuous. They commit random acts of terror to keep the populace on edge and hopeful that “if only we understand them“, the terror will stop. They use the tactic of demanding more and more outrageous demands so that the “little things” seem reasonable and acceptable. They use the strategy of incrementalism to creep into our society.

And the horror is, it’s working.

Some how, some way, the West must soon awaken and stop this insidious cancer from killing its host.
