PHOENIX VS ISLAMO FASCISM

I posted my thoughts on this before but want to move them up in conjunction with the previous post. The PC gloves HAVE to come off and any and all methods that will interdict the Islamo Faschists must be employed.

It's time for the Phoenix to rise in Iraq. During the Viet Nam war, the most effective program ever run to eliminate the VC infrastructure was the Phoenix Program. Phoenix utilized agents, informers and first rate Vietnamese/American intelligence to identify and eliminate VC cadre. The situation in Iraq is similar to Viet Nam in that it is almost impossible for normal military operations to identify Jihadi in the general population. Also similar is the use of terrorist operations to influence American and international public opinion. The Viet Nam war was lost in the press, not on the battlefield. The war on terror is being lost in the same manner.

Identifying and eliminating Jihadi needs to be the highest priority. Until the influx of international terrorists and the residual Sunni Bathists are eliminated or greatly reduced they will continue to create terror events that will be used for propaganda in the international press. Just as the Vietnamese Phoenix program identified and eliminated many moles and traitors in the South Vietnamese government, so must the Jihadi in Iraq be identified and neutralized.

A global anti-Jihadi Phoenix program needs to be initiated. The free world can no longer be hamstrung by political correctness when it comes to eliminating Islamists bent on a global Caliphate.

Time is running out. World opinion is fickle and inclined to accommodate the Jihadi out of fear. Until the free world can demonstrate real progress in stopping terrorists attacks the Islamists will continue to make progress.
