'Talibanization': Defacing Art in Pakistan

Talibanization says it all. The Taliban is one of the most repressive, backward, brutal Muslim sects extant. To destroy centuries old icons simply because they are deemed "un-Islamic" is barbaric and cannot be tolerated. The west should take note of these animals and be forewarned.

Some 200 Taliban fighters used electric drills to vandalize the face of a massive 7th century Buddha sculpture, according to locals in Pakistan's Swat Valley.
