250 pardoned Algerian terrorists "back in hiding"

This is catch and release on a grand scale that just didn't work. Jihadi cannot be released once caught. Islamic fanatics cannot be reasoned with because they are following the word of Allah.

Algiers - Around 250 convicted Algerian Muslim terrorists are back in hiding after being pardoned as part of a national reconciliation policy, the Algerian daily l'Expression reported Monday citing security sources.
Around 300 terrorists who had been received prison sentences had been pardoned.
In addition, 25 young men in Katebet, in eastern Algeria, were reported to have gone into hiding after several cars were stolen - a move seen by authorities as an indication of more car bomb attacks with being prepared.
On December 11, two bomb attacks in Algiers killed more than 70 people and destroyed the office of the UN Development Programme, which housed other UN agencies and employed 19 international and more than 100 local workers.
The Al-Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb organisation claimed responsibility for the attacks.
