Man denies spousal abuse, rape claims
Another story of bringing Sharia to the West. Khaled Elridi just doesn't understand that he is in America, not Egypt. He expects our society to accommodate his barbaric 7th century religious edicts. This is unfortunately all too common with Islamic immigrants who think they can reap the benefits of the West without integrating into the greater society. They insist on trying to get the host country to change its traditions to accommodate Sharia.
AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN, SPARKY.

The ex-husband of an Egyptian-born woman who said she was raped and threatened when she denied him sex denied all the allegations against him during testimony Wednesday.
Khaled Elridi, 40, of Lindenwold, said his ex-wife's claims may have resulted from her unfulfilled expectations of life in the United States and an attempt to ensure she would not be deported after their divorce.
Elridi told jurors he traveled to Egypt in 2005 to find a wife who would be willing to follow customs of his culture and religion. To complete the marriage contract, he said, he paid the equivalent of $1,700 to his wife's family, ( So, his wife is nothing more that chattel) paid for her wedding dress and a diamond ring, and paid for a wedding reception at a hotel in Alexandria, Egypt. (Paid her family a bribe)
He said his wife thought she was marrying a rich American, but he was out of work at the time of the marriage, and was unable to pay the promised costs of English and driving lessons. (Lied to her, which demonstrates his disdain for his wife)
The woman, he said, also didn't follow through on her promises, failing to wear the traditional Muslim head covering and announcing to him, even before the wedding celebration, that she wanted to delay having children for two or three years. (In America, no woman has to wear anything she dosen’t wish to, or become a breeder for her husband.)
Asked specifically if he ever forced his wife to participate in sex acts, Elridi began to cry and turned away from the jury.
"It never happened," he said repeatedly. He also said he never forced his wife to engage in sex when she turned him away.
"If I didn't leave her alone, I would be hurting her and that would not be allowed," Elridi said.
Elridi is charged with sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and terroristic threats.
Elridi, a U.S. citizen since 2005, said he continues to follow Egyptian customs and traditions, which bar his wife from dishonoring him in public and appearing in public without following traditional clothing restrictions. (Yes, HE continues to follow his barbaric Egyptian customs, and expects to be able to force his wife to do the same in America.)
Questioned by defense attorney Juan Gonzalez, Elridi referred to a visit made by his two nephews to his former apartment in Gloucester Township. When he arrived with them, he said, his former wife was wearing only a sleeveless shirt and shorts and he demanded that she put on his robe. (Sleeveless shirt and shorts, what a horrible crime against humanity.)
Later that night, he said, the couple quarrelled and the woman became distraught, screaming and tipping over a coffee table. A neighbor came to the apartment to investigate the noise, and later called police.
He also said that during a meeting at a friend's home, meant to try to resolve the couple's marital problems, the woman left the apartment and fell down a flight of steps, injuring her knee and cutting her face.
Five months later, the woman told a nurse practitioner at Cooper University Hospital the knee injury occurred as she ran from her abusive husband. It was that hospital visit that led to an investigation by the domestic violence unit of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Elridi's indictment.
