Waiting for Godot

If the Israelis don't take positive action to eliminate the tightening ring of terrorists and their weapons NOW, it will be too late to stop coordinated attacks from Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza and make the outcome problematical. Sooner or later Israel must fight and defeat the Arab ring of terrorism that surrounds it. It will be much better for Israel to mount the first attacks against the Islamists so that they can carry the momentum of battle. It is imperative that Israel crush and defeat the Islamists in such a way that it will be decades before the Muslims even think about destroying Israel. What the world says about that is immaterial, as no matter what Israel does, they will be condemned. What is of the utmost importance is that Israel prevail against the Arab rabble. An old saying in America: It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

FROM ATLASSHRUGS:

Waiting for Godot

As "Hamas uses the calm to re-arm" and 'Hezbollah is arming Gaza for a new war on Israel',

Olmert looks to Condi and the UN to guarantee Jewish survival and the future leadership of Obamerica wants to recognize the 21st Century's Nazis. Pinch me, this is a freakin nightmare. I mean, I know what worst case scenario is, can someone enlighten me as to the best case scenario? What do people think is going to happen? What is the only eventually with an enemy that vows Israel destruction, is flush with cash and arms, has the leading Islamic terror state as their sponsor (Iran) and an aiding abetting US and world body.

Israel: Hezbollah Increases Rocket Range

My Way hat tip davida
JERUSALEM (AP) - With Iranian backing, Hezbollah guerrillas have dramatically increased their rocket range and can now threaten most of Israel, senior Israeli defense officials said.
The Lebanese group has acquired new Iranian rockets with a range of about 185 miles, the officials said Wednesday. That means the guerrillas can hit anywhere in Israel's heavily populated center and reach as far south as Dimona, where Israel's nuclear reactor is located.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to divulge the confidential intelligence assessment to the media.
When Israel and Hezbollah fought a monthlong war in 2006, Hezbollah fired nearly 4,000 rockets into Israel. The longest-range rockets fired, which Israel said were Iranian-made, hit some 45 miles inside Israel.
Although Israel's air force managed to take out most of the group's long-range rockets, the military failed throughout the war to halt the short-range rocket fire that paralyzed northern Israel and killed 40 Israeli civilians.
After the war, the U.N. dispatched a peacekeeping force to distance Hezbollah from the border and prevent the group from rearming. But Israel says Hezbollah's Iranian and Syrian patrons have steadily provided the group with large amounts of rockets since then, many of them capable of hitting central Israel. However, it has not revealed the evidence for its claims.
Evidence? They want dead Jewish bodies.
Hezbollah and U.N. peacekeeping officials were not immediately available for comment.
No, the UN was too busy doing the Hitler jig over Falk and Ziegler
