This photo is from my previous post, but I am putting it here in the hopes someone can throw some light on the dynamics of the situation. Based on the expressions on Barack's and his wife's faces, they are not happy about something. While Obama does not feel the need to salute the American flag, he has no problem displaying the "one finger salute" to someone.
