Another in a never ending string of cowardly and barbarous acts against women by muslims. This time it's throwing acid at school girls, probably just because they were on their way to school. This news item has a two for one feature today, a suicide bombing is noted, along with the acid throwing atrocity.

This is what islam has in store for the free world. All the talk of "moderate" muslims is meaningless. In the end, ALL muslims must join in with their violent brothers or suffer the same fate as the Kiffar, and they know it.

Remember this when muslims want concessions from us to accommodate their "religion".

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - A suicide bomber driving an oil tanker detonated his explosives outside an Afghan government office during a provincial council meeting Wednesday, killing at least six people and wounding 42, officials said.
The attack in this former Taliban stronghold in southern Afghanistan ripped through the council office, flattened five nearby homes and damaged the offices of the country's intelligence service.
The bomb dug a crater some 4.5 metres into the ground.
Rahmatullah Raufi, the provincial governor, said six people died and 42 were wounded in the blast.
Those killed included two intelligence agents along with a police officer and three civilians.
Afghan police, soldiers and intelligence agents were at the site, as were Canadian soldiers. There were no reports of any Canadians having been injured.

Raufi says the attack occurred as the provincial council was hearing constituent complaints. Two council members were wounded in the attack.
Hours earlier in Kandahar, two men on a motorcycle threw acid on a group of Afghan girls walking to school.
Three of the girls were taken to hospital with serious burns, said Dr. Sharifa Siddiqi. Three others were treated and released.
Two girls who were wearing full-length burkas were not harmed, officials said.
Some of the girls wore a typical Afghan school uniform - black pants, a white shirt, black coat and white head scarf.
Atifa Bibi, 14, said from her hospital bed that two men rode up to the girls and threw the acid while they were walking to school. Bibi had burns on her face, which was covered in medical cream.

Girls were banned from attending school under the Taliban, which ruled Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001. Women also were not allowed to leave the house without a male family member escorting them.
Lt.-Gen. Andrew Leslie, the head of Canada's land forces, says the Taliban have changed their tactics.
He says they are afraid to attack NATO soldiers and are now going after innocent civilians.
Leslie said the Taliban are resorting to the terror tactics that they used a couple of years ago.
Bibi's aunt, Bibi Meryam, said the family had not received any threats not to send their girls to school, but now they would consider keeping the girls at home until security improves.

Afghanistan's government condemned the attack, calling it un-Islamic and perpetrated by the "country's enemies," a usual reference for the Taliban.
"By such actions, they cannot prevent six million children going to school," the government said in a statement.
No one immediately claimed responsibility, and Taliban spokesman Qari Yousef Ahmadi denied that the insurgents were involved.
