Britain's folly


This article tackles the reasons behind Britain going out of it's way to shelter Muslim terrorists who have demonstrated the desire to kill all non-Muslims.

It is a wicked thing, if Binyam Mohamed has indeed been tortured during his seven years' confinement, latterly at America's Guantanamo Bay, and equally wicked if Britain has been complicit in that torture.
But most people in this country, I suspect, felt a stab of justified anger and frustration on Monday as he descended at Northolt from a plane chartered by the Government to bring him 'home'.
Mohamed is an Ethiopian, who was granted residence rights in Britain after claiming asylum in 1994. He left in 2001, deciding he would rather live in Afghanistan.

Then, in 2002, he was arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of plotting a 'dirty bomb' attack on the United States. Thereafter, he was confined successively in Morocco and Guantanamo, under American stewardship.
The CIA claims that he is a trained Al Qaeda terrorist, but he has never been charged with any offence.
