Fatwa issued against 'Vande Mataram'

This item from India underscores the Muslim belief that Islam cannot ever be placed second to any other political system.  In America, Representative Keith Ellison's swearing in on the Koran has set a bad prescient in that by doing so he was allowed to essentially negate his oath to America and swear allegiance to Allah.

Bottom line, a Muslim is a Muslim and nothing else is more important to them.  In the final analysis, no Muslim can ever be trusted not to turn on a non-Muslim society because in his mind, he risks eternal damnation if he puts Islam second.
