The Islamic State (ISIS) recently released a video of dozens of Yazidis converting to Islam in order to avoid execution. Our leaders and the media continue to assure us that the actions of ISIS have nothing to do with Islam. Yet when we open the Muslim sources, we find Muhammad commanding his followers to fight people until they convert to Islam. How can obeying Muhammad's commands have nothing to do with Islam?
