Good. The French are finally coming to terms with the Muslim push to over ride French law. Muslims taking over public streets to pray is merely a tactic to further the take over of Western society. If they were allowed to continue to flaunt French law, there would be no stopping them. Now the French must retake the 751 No Go areas and restore law and order there.

Muslims praying while sprawled on the streets of Paris face arrest under a strict new law brought in today.

French interior minister Claude Gueant said the hundreds of prostrate worshippers 'hurt the sensitivities of many of our fellow citizens'.

Muslim men claim they have been forced into roads and alleyways to complete their daily prayers because of a lack of mosques in the French capital.

But Mr Gueant, a strict right-winger who wants to uphold France's secularity, said that the new law would be spread to other French cities, including Lyon and Marseilles, where thousands of Muslims live.

He said: 'My vigilance will be unflinching for the law to be applied.

'Praying in the street is not dignified for religious practice and violates the principles of secularism.

'All Muslim leaders are in agreement.'

But Sheikh Mohamed Salah Hamza, leader of a mosque in the north of Paris, said the government was treating Muslims like 'cattle' by stopping them from praying in the street.

He said he feared a 'climate of anarchy', despite Mr Gueant's insistence that force was unlikely to be necessary to impose the ban.

In France there are more Islamic mosques being built, and more frequently, than Catholic churches, and there are more practicing Muslims than practicing Catholics in the country.

Nearly 150 new mosques are currently being built in France, home to the largest Islamic community in Europe. The projects are in various stages of completion, according to Moahmmed Moussaoui, President of the Muslim Council of France, who provided this data in an interview on August 2 with RTL radio.

The total number of mosques in France has already doubled to exceed 2,000 in the last ten years, according to a research entitled: "Building mosques: the government of Islam in France and Holland." The best known French Islamic leader, Dalil Boubakeur, Rector of Great Mosque of Paris recently suggested that the total number of mosques should double, to 4,000, to meet the growing demand.

Instead, the Catholic Church in France has only twenty new churches built in the last ten years, and formally closed more than 60 churches, many of which could become mosques, according to research conducted by the French Catholic daily La Croix.

Although 64% of the French population (41.6 million people, out of about 65 million inhabitants) are defined as Roman Catholic, only 4.5% (about 1.9 million people) are practicing Catholics, according to the French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP).

Also in the field of comparison, 75% (4.5 million) of the approximately 6 million Muslims of North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa in France are identified as "believers", and 41% (about 2.5 million) claim to be "practitioners", according to a report posted on Islam in France by the IFOP on August 1 of last year. Research says that more than 70% of French Muslims claimed to have observed Ramadan in 2011.

Putting these elements side by side furnishes empirical evidence of the claim that Islam is on its way to overtaking Roman Catholicism as the dominant religion in France. As the numbers grow, the Muslims in France are becoming more assertive than ever before. A case for all groups: Muslims in France are asking the Catholic Church for permission to use its empty churches as a tool to solve the traffic problems caused by thousands of Muslims who pray in the street.

A teenage girl, whose kidnapping on Sunday from a park in Privas, in southeast France, riveted the country, was found unharmed on Friday, apparently taken by her fiancé’s family as part of a Chechen premarriage ritual, the police said. The girl, who was not named and who was thought to be 16 or 17, was found by the police in the southwestern Haute-Garonne region with the family of her fiancé, said a spokeswoman for the Privas police. The family said they were simply following an old North Caucasus tradition, like others in the Chechen diaspora. The kidnapping originates as a response by a man when a young woman’s family refuses a marriage. After the abduction and a night spent away from home, the young women is considered “soiled,” and the family would then consent to the union. Religious leaders among the Chechens, who are mostly Muslim, are trying to put an end to the tradition.

Paris Seeks Out New Prayer Spaces for Muslims

France bows down to Islam. After many years of permitting Muslims to hold illegal prayers blocking public streets, the Mayor of Paris is going to give them their own facilities for prayers. To get around the separation of church and state, in one location, they're going to charge rent and at the other location, they're just calling it an Islamic cultural center, not a Mosque.

The solution is of course, to enforce the law against blocking public streets and not giving in to Muslim blackmail. If Muslims want a place to pray, let them do what other religious groups do: pay for it themselves in accordance with French law.

To knuckle under to this extortion will only bring on more and more outrageous demands until there is no more “France”. France: forever dhimmi.

Paris Seeks Out New Prayer Spaces for Muslims

A huge hangar, owned by the Ministry of Defence located near Porte des Poissonniers, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, could well become a new place of Muslim worship in Paris.

In an attempt to allieviate the problem of prayer in the streets, the City of Paris is seeking ways of finding more prayer space without violating a 1905 law against the government supporting religions.

Insufficient number of places in the mosques of Paris has led the police headquarters in Paris to search for suitable premises. They identified the site in the 18th arrondissement as able to satisfy the needs of Muslims who pray every Friday at the Myrha Street mosque and the Polonceau Street mosque, both which have an overflow problem.

Daniel Vaillant, the Socialist mayor of the 18th district, assured that the move is being made to "solve the problem of street prayers."

The premises have recently been visited by Salah Hamza, rector of the Mosque of the Myrha Street mosque, and Moussa Diakite, rector of the Polonceau street mosque.

Part of the hangar is used by an association to house the homeless. The other, an area of ??about 1500 m², has been unoccupied for two years.

A tentative occupation agreement should be signed between the city authorities and Muslim associations in return for which the latter will have to pay rent, the 1905 law prohibiting the state from financing religious groups. Development work to bring the premesis up to safety standards would be made by the state and passed on to the Muslim associations in the form of additional rent.

Meanwhile, the mayor has found another way to provide additional prayer space for Muslims in the neighborhood of La Goutte d'Or without controvening the 1905 law. He directed the building of Paris's Institute of Islamic Cultures and had two prayer rooms constructed as part of the institute's facilities. The rooms can accommodate nearly 1000 people each.

These two prayer rooms will be sold to Muslim organizations to the tune of "6 to 7 million euros," says Vaillant. "There is no question that the city would make it a gift," he took care to add.

Riots in Grenoble after man killed by police

Muslims once again show their ability to adapt to and integrate with Western society. Rioting, burning cars and shooting at police are their tried and true way of thanking France for allowing them into the country.

Rioters exchanged gunfire with police in the French city of Grenoble and set fire to shops and cars after police shot dead a man accused of robbing a casino.

Youths torched between 50 and 60 cars in the southeastern French city, as well as construction equipment and two shops, while police arrested a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old.

The rioting started after a memorial service for 27-year-old Karim Boudouda, who died 24 hours earlier in a shootout with police after allegedly holding up a casino near Grenoble.

Shortly before midnight, a group of around 30 youths armed with baseball bats and iron bars attacked a tram in Boudouda's working class district of La Villeneuve and forced the passengers to get out.

Police intervened to protect the passengers, and the youths began torching vehicles and attacking police who responded with tear gas.

A couple of hours later a youth emerged at the front of the rioters and fired a shot at police, who returned fire four times, police spokeswoman Brigette Jullien tolsaid.

Nobody was injured in the riots, police said.

Order was restored this morning in La Villeneuve, and police could no longer be seen on the neighbourhood's streets.

According to police union SGP-FO, violence has been on the rise in recent months in Grenoble.

'Police are at breaking point,' said regional union chief Daniel Chomette, who called for reinforcements.

The casino at Uriage-les-Bains was the third to be attacked in southeastern France and Switzerland since late March.

An alleged accomplice of Mr Boudouda escaped during the shootout and is still on the run. Police found between €20,000 and €40,000 in the back of the getaway car.

Launched in 2009, the Conference of Imams is a collective that promotes an interreligious dialogue and the promotion of open Islam. In recent days, Hassen Chalghoumi has said that he is in favour of a law that bans the use of the full veil in France, describing it as a prison for women, an instrument used for sexist domination and Muslim recruitment. The parliamentary mission, which has been studying the measures to be adopted against the full veil, has today recommended that France should solemnly declare itself in favour of the ban and has asked for the adoption of a series of measures to ban it from administration offices and public transport. Hundreds arrested in French violence

An the riots go on.  And on.  France's Muslim "youth" continue their tradition of burning cars by the hundreds for no other reason than they are not stopped.  They have created "no go zones" which the police are generally afraid to enter.  In other words, the Muslim "youth" have taken control of areas of France and the authorities are powerless to stop them.

The violence flared again two years later in neighbourhoods outside Paris, following the deaths of two teens who were killed in a crash with a police patrol car in November 2007.

Some Paris neighbourhoods have been taken over Fridays with large numbers of Muslims clearly establishing Islamic primacy by taking over huge sections of streets by ‘praying’ in them in such a manner that no other traffic is possible. (videos below) thanks to Tundra and Gaia, we have a translation of a newspaper article on a proposed referendum to end this hostile and predatory practice.



Once again, we see that this is not a religious thing, but a political practice of primacy and total dominance. Below the videos please find the English translation of the letter to President Sarkozi. Remember, this can, will, and is happening now in Canada. It is only a matter of degree and time. The more time, the greater the degree.

Mr. President
This is an appeal for help from the citizens of the 18th arrondissement.
For several years now, certain of our streets have been occupied by fundamentalists who come from all over the Parisian region to practice their cult activities.

The pavement for hundreds of metres is taken over, putting pedestrians in grave danger as they are obliged to walk in the street to get past the people “praying”.

Entire streets are roped off with cars and security barriers and no entry signs, preventing the inhabitants of the area from going out or returning to their homes, the shopkeepers from working, ordinary citizens from circulating normally.

Every protest or even a simple attempt to penetrate into the zones occupied by these fundamentalists risks being met by insults, threats and aggression and for some time now no one dares to protest, such is the fear installed in our area.

Are we no longer a secular Republic?  Isn’t occupation of the public highway by unauthorized cultural activities a public order offence?  Is preventing the free circulation of citizens in public areas, by means of threats or other means, normal in our city?  Why do we no longer have the right to enter or leave our homes?  Why do we have to live in a climate of fear?

Mr. Delanöe, the Mayor of Paris, knows perfectly about our situation, as does Mr. Vaillant Mayor of the 18ème et Mr. Gaudin Préfet de Police.  All of them have abandoned our streets to Islamic fundamentalists, they have abandoned their citizens who can no longer walk around their city because certain areas are out of bounds to non-muslims during prayer times.

Mr President, you have affirmed that in France there are no No-Go zones.  So what would you call these areas or the militant fundamentalists  who shut roads for their exclusive private use for a number of years now without the police intervening to re-establish public order?

Mr. President.  Do not abandon us also.  Stop this occupation of our streets by fundamentalists.

Violent clashes erupted late on Sunday in the town of Fréjus (south of France) after Mohamed El Matari, a 21 years-old Moroccan national, living in the city killed himself while he was trying to steer clear of a roadblock. According to Simon Babri, the chief of staff of the Prefect, "initially, at 17h30, the young man turned back to avoid a roadblock at the entrance of Fréjus and he fled. He tried to bypass a second roadblock and by driving on the bottom side of the road it hit a tree".

No wounded have been reported during the incidents. According to a statement published by the prefecture of the Var region, "at midnight the police were able to take position inside the area and to restore calm." However, police stay in the area during the night to prevent any other incidents.

It started off as a simple runaway case. Monday, around 1pm in Meximieux, two sisters aged 15 and 18, of Turkish origin, were reported missing.

The Meximieux police found their two hours later, but their investigation did not end there. They discovered that the two sisters were regularly subjected to violence by their parents, who did not accept their wish not to live according to their very rigorous life principles. Fundamentalist Muslims, the parents do not tolerate seeing them in Western clothing, visiting friends, or pursuing their studies. They were also forbidden to watch French television.

The parents initially denied even the simple practice of religion, but later admitted to the facts and violence.

They will be tried by the court for violence by a person of authority towards a minor.

This is much more serious than it may appear without thought. Firstly, this group appears to be stealing goods from a large store. This will make for a successful campaign against Israeli products if the local authorities, police and so on, do nothing to stop these acts of theft and extortion.

If this campaign is successful, and we have every reason to think it will be; groups of thugs will continue to dictate policy to governments and private sectors alike. Let me be as clear as I humanly can be….

This is not about Israel. This is about Islamists and leftists who use fear theft terrorism and extortion to set policy for private as well as public sectors. If Israel and Jewish owned businesses where to disappear off the map tomorrow the next target will be Americans and anyone who Muslims feel is insufficiently submitting to Islam.

Printemps foiled after police find explosives in restrooms

Police appear to have narrowly averted disaster in the heart of Paris today after neutralising explosives discovered in the world-famous Printemps department store.

Five sticks of explosive were discovered in various locations around the department store this morning, with police and judicial officials saying some were found in the restrooms.
Anti-crime brigades and demining teams were called in, and the store evacuated and cordoned off to prevent any harm to shoppers crowding the busy streets less than two weeks before Christmas.

The AFP newswire reported it has received a written tip-off by a previously unknown group calling itself the Afghan Revolutionary Front warning of 'several bombs' placed in the store.
Officials said the explosives did not include detonators, the BBC has reported.
AFP also reported the Afghan Revolutionary Front was demanding the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Afghanistan by February of next year.

The bombs were supposed to explode tomorrow, the group reportedly claimed.
France has about 2,600 troops serving with Nato in Afghanistan, though President Nicolas Sarkozy has said more will be sent.
Britain has just announced plans to send 300 more troops to Afghanistan, taking the total UK troops there to 8,300.

It is believed to be the second time in a week that AFP has received a warning about the store. The agency said it received a phone call from a similar Afghan group a few days ago regarding the store, but at the time, police chose not to evacuate.

France has denied citizenship to a veiled Moroccan woman on the grounds that her "radical" practice of Islam is incompatible with basic French values such as equality of the sexes, a legal ruling showed on Friday.
The case will reignite debate about how to reconcile freedom of religion, which is guaranteed by the French constitution, and other fundamental rights, which many in France feel are being challenged by the way of life of some Muslims.
Le Monde newspaper said it was the first time a Muslim applicant had been rejected for reasons to do with personal religious practice.
"She has adopted a radical practice of her religion, incompatible with essential values of the French community, particularly the principle of equality of the sexes," said a ruling by the Council of State handed down last month and sent to Reuters on Friday to confirm a report in Le Monde.
The Council of State is a judicial body which has final say on disputes between individuals and the public administration.
Married to a French national, the woman arrived in France in 2000, speaks good French and has three children born in France.
She wears a black burqa that covers all her body except her eyes, which are visible through a narrow slit, and lives in "total submission" to her husband and male relatives, according to reports by social services. Le Monde said the woman is 32.
The woman's application for French nationality was rejected in 2005 on grounds of "insufficient assimilation". She appealed to the Council of State, which last month approved the rejection.
In the past, nationality was denied to Muslims who were known to have links with extremist circles or who had publicly advocated radicalism, which is not the case here.
The ruling comes weeks after a heated debate over whether traditional Muslim views were creeping into French law, prompted by a court annulment of the marriage of two Muslims because the husband said the wife was not a virgin as she had claimed to be.
In the case of the Moroccan woman, Le Monde suggested the Council of State had gone to the opposite extreme by rejecting the woman's beliefs and way of life rather than accommodating them.
"Is a burqa incompatible with French nationality?" the newspaper asked.
The legal expert who provided a formal report on the case to the Council of State wrote that the woman's interviews with social services revealed that "she lives almost as a recluse, isolated from French society," Le Monde reported.
"She has no idea about the secular state or the right to vote. She lives in total submission to her male relatives.
She seems to find this normal and the idea of challenging it has never crossed her mind," Emmanuelle Prada-Bordenave wrote.
Le Monde quoted Daniele Lochak, a law professor not involved in the case, as saying it was bizarre to consider that excessive submission to men was a reason not to grant citizenship.
"If you follow that to its logical conclusion, it means that women whose partners beat them are also not worthy of being French.'

A French Muslim couple who sued a hospital after their son was born heavily handicapped were instead fined EUR 1,000 on Tuesday for refusing the presence of a male doctor during labour.

Mohammed Ijjou was born severely handicapped on 8 November 1998 as a result of neurological complications during birth.

According to the appeal court ruling, his father Radouane Ijjou physically barred a male intern from entering his wife's room for half an hour, citing religious reasons, after a midwife asked for help with the labour.

The court in Lyon ruled that "the child's condition is totally due to the attitude of Radouane Ijjou" and that the couple could not hold the hospital responsible.

It said the father's attitude had prevented the hospital from carrying out tests that could have prevented the complications.

"This is a very hard decision. This child is being told he has no one to blame but his parents," said the couple's lawyer Isabelle Damiano.

The couple, whose request for damages was rejected once before in May 2006, were seeking EUR 100,000 in damages from the hospital in Bourg-en-Bresse in eastern France.

The War on Brigitte Bardot

Interesting look at France's afforts to silence Brigette Bardot because she dares to speak the truth about the Islamification of France. Once again she has been charged with “racial hatred against Muslims”.

From her 2003 book A Cry in the Silence she correctly sums up the current situation: “For 20 years we have submitted to a dangerous and uncontrolled underground infiltration,” she wrote. “Not only does it fail to give way to our laws and customs. Quite the contrary, as time goes by it tries to impose its own laws on us." For this she was fined 5,000 euros.

Now she faces new charges because "She has committed the sin of speaking frankly and unapologetically about her country’s hostile Muslim immigrant population and.."

In the 1960s, Brigitte Bardot was France’s national icon, a pouty-lipped poster girl for the glories of her home country. So it is sign of how radically times have changed that yesterday’s silver-screen darling is today’s enemy of the people.
Bardot’s “crimes,” such as they are, are straightforward: She has committed the sin of speaking frankly and unapologetically about her country’s hostile Muslim immigrant population and – what is evidently worse – questioning the compatibility of some Muslim religious practices with Western society. Common sense, one might think, or least subjects fit for fruitful debate.
Not in modern France. Last week, the erstwhile cinema siren went on trial on the charge of inciting “racial hatred against Muslims.” If convicted, she could face a two-month suspended prison sentence and nearly $24,000 in fines.
The basis for the charge is utterly bogus. It stems from a letter that Bardot wrote to President Nicolas Sarkozy in 2006, in which she complained about the practices of Islamic immigrants. In particular, Bardot was put off by the ritual of Eid al-Adha, a Muslim feast in which sheep and goats are slaughtered by having their throats slit. A longtime animal-rights activist, Bardot found the practice abominable.
Her mistake was in thinking that she had the freedom to say so. But as France struggles to control a large (Muslims make up nearly ten percent of the country) and increasingly radicalized Muslim population critics of Islamism are finding themselves more actively persecuted by national authorities than the Islamists themselves.
Bardot is a case in point. Her latest legal woes may seem troubling, but they are only the latest battle in a larger war waged by Islamic radicals and their allies to suppress all criticism of Islam and its more militant and anti-Western incarnations. It speaks to the success of these state-backed exercises in intimidation that Bardot has been convicted for “inciting racial hatred” on four separate occasions.
Bardot’s trials, literal and figurative, at the hands of the Fifth Republic’s multicultural enforcers date back to the early 1990s, when she first spoke out against the slaughtering of animals for religious purposes. Although Bardot directed her attacks against Muslims and Jews, it was her criticism of the former that got her branded as a racist. By 1997, Bardot stood convicted on the charge of “inciting racial hatred” after suggesting in the French daily Le Figaro that France was beset by a “foreign over-population,” including with Muslim immigrants.
It was unclear, then as now, how criticism of a non-racial group, in this case Muslims, could be considered “racist.” Nor was it apparent why an issue as fundamental to the welfare of a nation as immigration was suddenly to be deemed off-limits for discussion. But the Orwellian subtext of the case was impossible to miss: There were some things that French citizens simply were not allowed to discuss.
Bardot pointedly ignored the lesson. The following year, she likened the slaughter of animals in Islamic rituals to the throat-slitting favored by Islamic fundamentalists in North Africa, implying that the connection was not coincidental. It was a provocative point, to be sure, but by no means an unreasonable one. Where the world’s leading religions have shed their cruelest tendencies, Islam as practiced in much of the world – one need only recall the gruesome decapitation murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl – retains its more savage elements.
In any case, criticizing religious practices would seem to be entirely consistent with European free-speech statutes, especially in anticlerical France. And, indeed, a lower court initially found Bardot’s comments to be protected by free-speech laws. That was too much for an appeals court, however, and before long it reversed the decision and slapped Bardot with a fine. Free speech was a fine thing, apparently, so long as it didn’t offend Muslims.

This is about as stupid as it can get. Creating college level courses for Muslim Imams so they can be "secularized" just gives them the ability to use the system against itself. The Imams will then claim to be "friends" with the French and have a French degree to prove it. It's kinda like giving a bank robber the combination to the safe and code to the burglar alarm.

today that a number of nations have expressed interest in France's civic and cultural degree program for Muslim prayer leaders (imams). Even more interesting is the claim that the American embassy in Paris has requested information on the program, launched late last year.
The cycle of higher eduation in question has been sponsored by the Catholic Institute of Paris, with assistance from the Grand Mosque of Paris and the French Interior Ministry. This has been described as a "secularizing" course of study, and carries the title "Religions, Secularism, Interculturality." In an earlier column I wrote that this was to include 400 hours of accredited instruction in four subject areas: one devoted to "general culture," including a history of "republican values"; a second for legislative matters, which will examine the rights and obligations of religion in France; a third on the subject of "openness," to explore religion's relation to the human sciences; and a fourth on "intercultural exchange."
More exactly, France's future imams will be asked to study French secular tradition, ponder the work of Enlightenment philosophers, and imbibe tremendous amounts of grammar.
Comment: France claims an official language, and is organized by centralizing logic. This fact, with the addition of France's official aversion to faith, has made Interior's program palatable to the nation - far more so than might be the case in the United States. In any case, it is difficult to imagine that the government's privileged interlocutors in matters of Islam (including the likes of the Council on American-Islamic Relations)would ever stand for this kind of meddling.

Spy chiefs have uncovered a plot by Islamic terrorists to blow up the Eiffel Tower.
A scrambled short-wave radio conversation exposing the planned attack on the world's most visited monument was picked up by Portuguese air traffic controller and passed on to French intelligence services.
The 1,060ft high tower, built in 1889, has more than six million visitors a year - an average of more than 16,000 people a day.
A French police source close to France's DST intelligance agency said last night: "The conversation was picked up on Thursday this week in Portugal and French authorities were immediately alerted.
"It was a muffled conversation in Arabic that was passed on to us as a matter of course, by our analysts clearly identified the threat.
"The sheer number of visitors going up the tower every day means a bomb blowing up there could cause the most massive loss of life.
"Security at the tower is already tight, but is now being stepped up."
The threat to the tower comes after other threats on Islamic websites hinting at attacks on busy Paris shopping streets and banks....
