Zombie Muhammad?

Lets hope the Muslim perp is charged with a hate crime and not just simple assault. This is after all a religiously driven attack.

Atheist attacked by Muslim during Halloween parade

Tuesday, an Atheist wearing a “Zombie Muhammad” costume while marching in a local Pennsylvania Halloween parade was attacked by a Muslim.

According to reports, the Parading Atheists of Central Pennsylvania (PACP) were marching in a Halloween parade in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania,when a Muslim stormed out of the hometown crowd to assault one of the marching atheists who happened to be wearing a Zombie Muhammad costume.

The atheist in the Zombie Muhammad costume was proclaiming that he was the Prophet Muhammad, risen from the dead. Apparently the words and costume offended a Muslim man, who came out of the audience and began to follow and harass the atheist dressed as Zombie Muhammad before actually choking the atheist.

Subsequently, a police report was filed, and charges in the matter are pending.

While violence against anyone for religious reasons cannot be tolerated, this is just the beginning of a backlash against the Islamic invasion of the West.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Investigators said Wednesday that shots fired at a family’s home was motivated by hate.

There were no injuries in the shooting but police said there were children and adults in the home at the time.

Police allege that Vadim Ignatov fired multiple shots at the home of Suzanne Hachem. She and her family are Lebanese and Muslim. Police arrested Ignatov on multiple counts of intimidation, unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangerment of another person, and criminal mischief.

Police said their investigation revealed the motivation of the shooting was because of the family’s religion and national origin.

The 43-year-old Ignatov is a neighbor of the Hachem’s and police said Ignatov fired several different guns into their Northwest Portland home on several different occasions.

Upon searching his SUV, police said they found more than $200,000 in U.S. and foreign currency hidden in a pickle jar along with gold and platinum.

Suzanne Hachem said her family has had run-ins with Ignatov before.

“He said, ‘Oh, they’re praying loud,’” she said. “And he started saying f-words.”

She said she’s still worried about her family’s safety even though Ignatov is behind bars.

“We have to find a way to protect our family,” she said. “He’s in the jail now, but we don’t know what’s going to happen next.”

The investigation is continuing and police said if anyone has information to the whereabouts of Ignatov’s Isuzu Trooper on Aug. 29 between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. to call 503-261-2847.

NY Man Accused Of Threatening To Kill Muslim Woman

A New York man has been arrested for a hate crime against a Muslim woman and her child.

I'm posting about this crime against Muslims for a few reasons. Firstly, this sort of behavior is never appropriate, no matter the perceived offense. These crimes should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law no matter who commits such acts. Secondly, it gives the Islamists and their fellow travelers of the left ammunition to attack freedom of speech and so suppress the West's ability to inform people of the Islamic Jihad threat.

This sort of thing also encourages the enactment of hate crime legislation, which is used not by the average Joe, but by the Left and those attempting to shut down legitimate debate over the incursion of Islam into free societies. Existing legislation already covers deadly threats without the necessity for "hate crime" penalties.

The Dhimmi press once again bends over and grabs both ankles in terror of offending "the relogion of peace".

I don't think there is any limit, any limit at all -- just check out this story. A Muslim student distributes leaflets calling on people to convert to Islam, and issues threats, and..."the student's religion was not immediately known." Darn those Methodists! They're so ecumenical these days, they're even distributing leaflets calling on people to convert to a different religion!

September 19, 2007 -- A Queens teen was arrested yesterday after placing fliers in his teachers' mailboxes asking them to convert to Islam - then made threats once he was caught, authorities said.
Yaseen Chowdhury, 17, of Woodside, wrote the fliers himself and put them in the mailboxes at the Renaissance Charter School in Jackson Heights, sources said.
When confronted there about the fliers, he made unspecified verbal threats, according to the sources.
Chowdhury was charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime.
A Department of Education spokesman did not return a call seeking comment.
The student's religion was not immediately known.

In today's America, you can burn our flag but you can not mistreat the Koran. Burning the flag is freedom of expression, a form of allowable speech our courts tell us, but mistreating the Koran is a criminal felony punishable under hate-crime legislation. If you are a Moslem you can, together with your brothers, wave posters at public protests on college campuses calling for "Killing the Jews", "Destroy Israel" and declare "Jews are Sons of Apes". This our college administrators tell us is "free speech". However, you have no right, even in private, to demean a book if it is the Koran. If you do, you go to jail. This is a form of expression unallowable -- perhaps America's only remaining prohibition.

Last week, a student at Pace University in New York was formally charged with a felony for stuffing a Koran in a commode. CAIR, a Muslim organization, filed suit, claiming it constituted a hate-crime. Was this hate directed at a person? No. Was it painted on the walls of an institution where people of a specific race congregate? No. Was anyone threatened? No. It was simply one person's rejection, in a physical way, of a philosophy. People do it and have done it, all the time, with the Christian Bible, the Constitution, our flag, the Republican Platform. When was the last time you ever heard of someone in America possibly going to jail because he flushed some pages of a book down a toilet?

This case is important not only because an American is going to be criminally charged for an act that, while not nice, is simply not criminal but because, in the name of political correctness, we are changing centuries of legal definitions in order to appease bullies who are now telling us what we can do and what we can't. Worse, they are making us submit to a double standard where what is allowable for them is not allowable for us. For example, people can burn the Christian Bible but not soak a Koran. While American museums can display depictions of Mary in dung and Jesus in urine, one is prohibited from demonstrating disapproval and horror regarding verses in the Koran. Somehow it is not a hate crime when young and middle-aged Moslems publicly call for the deaths of our children and raise signs on our streets threatening a Holocaust, here, against non-believing "infidels".

This whole country is based on equal justice under the law, not special justice and more rights for one group over the rest of us. This is not simply the capitulation of a legal system but our own willing complicity in the destruction of everything we have heretofore believed in and died for. At stake is our very civilization and our morality. Centuries of developed wisdom are being thrown out, discarded. It is happening because of a suicidal, self-hatred among our elites for the Judeo-Christian ethos that early-on made our ancestors and shaped our parents and because those that lead our institutions are afraid.
