Atlas says she hopes the Israelis use disproportionate force, and I know what she means. I would rephrase that to say the only disproportionate force would be to use too little.

2 Israelis killed in "Palestinian" attack

JERUSALEM - "The Israeli army" says "Palestinian" "militants" crossed into southern Israel and killed two Israeli civilians before fleeing back to the Gaza Strip.
The army says at least four people carried out the attack. "Israeli media say" the army chased the attackers into Gaza and killed one of them.
Two "Palestinian" 'militant" groups, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees, are claiming responsibility for the attack.
