Delta Flight to Madrid Returns to JFK After Device Is Found

IMHO, this isn’t a trial run, it's Jihad on the cheap.  Striking terror into the hearts of the Kuffar through activities like this is just a valid to an Islamist as having murdered thousands.  It's the intention of the Muslim terrorist that counts to gain entrance to Heven. 

Aditionally, it allows the Jihadist to walk away and make another false attack.

A Delta flight headed to Madrid was turned around Thursday night and returned to John F. Kennedy International Airport after federal air marshals found a device with what appeared to be clipped pieces of wire protruding from it in the plane's bathroom.

A law-enforcement official said one of four air marshals on the flight discovered what "appeared to be a device that had wires sticking out of a cylindrical object" in one of the aircraft's bathrooms. The official said the device was determined to be harmless but nevertheless raised concerns among law enforcement that it could be a terrorism test run.

Delta Flight 126, which had departed at 8:10 p.m., returned to JFK around 9:33 pm., and officials removed the 217 passengers on board as NYPD Bomb Squad members scanned the plane.

The investigation of the plane, which was docked at Terminal 3, Gate 7 away from other aircraft, was continuing late Friday night.
