OK, so just what will happen to Assad's thousands of pounds of chemical weapons if he is overthrown?  Why, the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda will get them, that's what.  They will in turn supply their sub groups to deploy against the West.  Chilling thought no?

Plainly, the West and Obama in particular have opened Pandora's box of chemical weapons by siding with the rebels and there is no closing it now.

It is now almost certain that the rebels have obtained some chemical weapons and used them in recent weeks.  SEE:

The problem arises when Assad falls and his tons of chemicals are taken by the same people who are already decades into a terror war on the West.  While there has been a rational fear of a nuclear event of some sort, it is much more likely that chemicals will be the weapon of choice of al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood spin-offs, and any other Muslim sects able to obtain them.  They are already available to some degree, need minimum training to use and are much more readily smuggled into target countries.  Personal safety is of no concern to people wanting to die in the attack against the Western kuffar and against other Muslim sects deemed not Islamic enough.  Once in their hands, al Qaeda and or the Muslim Brotherhood WILL use them, both against the West and any other Muslims they choose to.  Imagine this: The Brotherhood uses Sarin gas against Iran and Iran retaliates with nukes.

In a nutshell, just as in Libya and Egypt the West has sided with the wrong side and consequently greatly empowered two of the most dangerous Muslim groups on earth.  And now we have Mr. Bluster AKA Barry Soetoro, AKA Barack Hussein Obama, leading the world from behind into a global dark age that could easily have been prevented by simply staying out of Islamic infighting.  The world is on the brink of a global catastrophe.

Here's a report from the Daily Mail indicating the quantity of chemical Assad has.

Brutal dictator President Bashar Assad has amassed more than 1,000 tonnes of poison gas including sarin and XV, the most toxic nerve agent ever created.

A leaked intelligence report said the tyrant possessed missiles capable of firing the deadly substances 300 miles - within range of British military bases in Cyprus.

The news comes as the U.S. insisted Washington had its own evidence that Assad henchmen used the deadly chemical wepaons against civilians.

Secret service chiefs in Paris also laid the blame for the massacre of civilians in a chemical attack in Damascus on August 21, which the US claims killed 1,429 civilians including 426 children, squarely on the regime.

Assad's henchmen fired projectiles containing sarin into a rebel-held suburb simply to 'cause terror', they concluded.

The four-page briefing paper was compiled by agents working for the Direction Generale de la Securité Exterieure, the French equivalent of MI6 and the Direction du Renseignement Militaire, the military intelligence corps.

The memo was sent to President François Hollande who has vowed to join military action to punish 'those who took the heinous  decision to gas innocents'.

Extracts from the intelligence dossier were published in a French newspaper alongside a photograph of an alleged chemical weapons laboratory and under the headline: 'Syria: The Proof'.

Mr Hollande is due to publish the document this week in a bid to convince the French public to back missile strikes against Assad's regime for 'sanctioning crimes which repeatedly violated international law'.
