The Lone Terrorist

This is a good analysis of the recent phenomenon of the "lone terrorist" as found in Israel. While this sort of attack has a history of about two years in Israel, the US, Britain and other Western countries have suffered the same for many years, the Beltway Snipers in America being a notable Jihad attack. In the West, it's been called Sudden Jihad Syndrome, where the Jihadists (immigrant and native born) takes it upon himself to inflict some violent "punishment" on his Western benefactors. These attacks are plainly religiously driven as the perpetrators invariably, either during the crime, or after capture, ascribe their actions to obeying the Islamic command to wage Jihad against the infidels. Invariably also is the press's obsessive denial of the Jihadi element and boilerplate assertion that the terrorist is mentally unstable, and not responsible, anything but accept Islam as the cause of terrorism.

Seeing this rather new bubbling over of violence by individuals makes me wonder just how many will move from being "moderate" Muslims, to violent Muslims when they percieve the time to be right. We can expect to see more of this type of terrorist attack as individuals take it upon themselves to fight Jihad.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The success of Israel's security forces in decreasing in Palestinian suicide attacks against Israeli civilians could be threatened if a new type of terrorist attack - the lone terrorist attack - becomes more frequent. The lone terrorist phenomenon is characterized by radicals who embark on individual terrorist missions without any logistical support or conventional means.
This type of attack is particularly difficult to defend against. Terrorists cannot be easily identified by their logistical plans, weapon sources or organizational affiliations. The only way to prevent this form of terrorism is by creating a high personal price tag in order to deter the potential terrorist. However, such terrorist deterrence requires clearly defined legislation. Currently, no laws exist regarding allowable punitive action, for example, against terrorists' property. Effective "price tag" deterrence legislation must also apply to the intent to kill, regardless of the results.

Terrorism has existed in different forms since the beginning of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Over the years, terror acts have evolved from stabbings and Molotov cocktails to suicide bombings and the use of vehicles to run over Israelis citizens.

The Al-Aqsa Intifada produced an unprecedented number of terrorist activities against Israel. This elicited the March-April 2002 Operation Defensive Shield and subsequent IDF actions that have significantly reduced the ability of Palestinian terror organizations to attack Israel. The suicide bomber, which had become the Israeli home front's worst nightmare, has been almost completely suppressed. The number of 53 suicide attacks against Israeli cities in 2002 was reduced to a single suicide attack in 2007 and one during 2008. However, terror has not disappeared, but acquired a different shape.

The Kassam rocket industry in Gaza has been growing since 2005, and terrorists without organizational affiliation have been emerging in Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem. In 2008, more than 80 percent of the terrorist attacks (to be distinguished from suicide attacks, as mentioned above) were carried out by unaffiliated terrorists who did not benefit from an organizational logistical support. The Israeli defense establishment and the media dubs them "lone terrorists," and views this phenomenon as unstoppable because a terrorist acting without preliminary preparations, a logistical base, and secret partners is very difficult to identify. It is next to impossible to gather critical intelligence to stop him.

The first terrorist attack of this kind occurred on 26 March 2007, when a resident of East Jerusalem with an Israeli identification card opened fire at students in the Merkaz Harav Yeshiva. Two other armed terrorist attacks occurred during the same year at military checkpoints.

Another Sudden Jihad Syndrome attack that's being written off as "mental illness" and a random event. But it's not random, it's just one more in a long list of low level Muslim attacks on non-Muslims in order to impose Sharia law on America. These solo Muslim Jihadi are almost impossible to stop because they go from being a seemingly moderate Muslim to rabid Islamist terrorist in a short time.

It's imperative for the American people to wake up to what's happening around them, and to insist that the government take whatever steps necessary to purge the country of Muslims.

Ohio Student Stabbed, Assailant Wael Kalash takes Refuge in Mosque

Here we go .................. don't say jihad! Say mentally ill! Meanwhile, after Wael Kalash stabbed a female Ohio State student, police apprehended him in a nearby mosque.
As in every lone jihadi incident, it is chalked up to "mental illness". Was the abortion doc murderer mentally ill? No, he was a right wing terrorist. Git it?

A female Ohio State student was trying to catch a bus to class Tuesday afternoon when she became the victim of a random stabbing.

Police say the 20-year-old student was walking down Stinchcomb Drive near Buckeye Village at 12:55 p.m. when she was stabbed by 34-year-old Wael W. Kalash. Witnesses said Kalash had been walking up and down the street exhibiting "bizarre" behavior before the stabbing occurred.

"There's no connection between the victim and him other than she was at the wrong place at the wrong time, it was a completely random act," said Det. Jay Fulton of the Columbus Division of Police homicide unit.

Witnesses said that Kalash, a resident of Stinchcomb Drive, walked up to the student and stabbed her once in the abdomen with a knife. The student described the weapon as a kitchen-type knife bigger than a steak knife but smaller than a bread knife.

While an ambulance took the student to Riverside Hospital to undergo surgery, officers saturated the area looking for the assailant. They soon found Kalash inside a nearby mosque at 535 Riverview Dr., where witnesses positively identified him as the assaulter. Kalash was arrested for felonious assault and is being held at Franklin County Jail on $750,000 bond.

Actually I am a resident that lives in University Village next to his building that he lived in. He was always at the UV bus stop and riding the UV bus. Whenever I would drive by him while he was sitting out on the bus stop he would stand in front of my car making me slow down and stop and yell "F*** YOU AMERICAN SL*T". I am not being "anti-foreigner", but I am telling the truth. I spoke with several other girls and they said the same type of thing happened to them. Actually I do not think this is "WRONG PLACE AT WRONG TIME"

Sudden Jihad Syndrome by a home grown jihadi. There will be more and more of this anywhere there are muslim enclaves embedded in Western society. Muslim communities are plainly a prime source of home grown terrorists, because they sure aren't coming from the Baptists. Of course, this terrorist will be let off as a mental case and put on life time disability by the government.

Dane held for 'shooting Israelis'

A Danish man of Palestinian origin has been arrested on suspicion of shooting and wounding two Israeli salesmen at a shopping centre in Odense in Denmark.
Police said they were unsure what the motive was, but Danish media have speculated it may have been a protest against Israeli air raids in Gaza.
The 27-year-old suspect turned himself in. He reportedly denies trying to kill the men but admits carrying a gun.

The men were shot on Wednesday while selling hair products.
One was hit in the arm and the other in the leg.
They were both still in hospital on Thursday but their injuries were not life-threatening, Reuters news agency reported.

Police said the pair had been in Denmark for about a week.
The attack came on the fifth day of Israeli air strikes against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, which Israel says were provoked by Palestinian rocket attacks.
Four Israelis have been killed by Palestinian rockets fired into Israel since the campaign began on Saturday, while medical sources say more than 400 Palestinians have now been killed in Gaza.

Well here's another example of Sudden Jihad Syndrome being handled as a psychiatric problem. The perp in this case already had a record of violence and drug abuse. It seems like the Politically Correct government of Norway still does not understand that importing muslims imports all their violent and fanatical behavior.

Victims recovering from stabbing spree

Four persons stabbed in downtown Oslo Tuesday night by a man with a record of violence were in stable condition after their frightening ordeal. Their attacker was in police custody and being held at a psychiatric hospital.

The stabbing drama suddenly played out around the Gunerius shopping complex around 9am Tuesday.
One witness said he and his wife were walking down the pedestrian street Brugata after a theater visit, when a man came walking "quietly and calmly" towards them.
"Suddenly he raised his arm and he was holding a big Rambo-like knife," the man told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK). "My wife yelled 'RUN,' and we ran into a nearby café and yelled for everyone to stay inside and call the police."
The knife-wielding man proceeded to go on a stabbing spree, randomly assaulting passersby including one woman who was stabbed in the throat, a man whom he stabbed in the arm and another man who was stabbed while waiting for the tram in Storgata.
Police were finally able to apprehend the assailant, a 36-year-old man from Somalia, inside a local parking garage. He has a police record after earlier incidents involving possession of narcotics and violence.
"It would be wrong to say he was arrested without any drama," Lasse Alver of the Oslo Police District told Aftenposten.no. "It seemed as though he was trying to attack everyone and anyone he came across."
Two persons were sent to Ullevål Hospital while two others were treated at a local emergency clinic.
One witness said the man had been carrying the knife in a plastic bag, and pulled it out as he encountered potential victims. He ultimately threw the knife down and ran. "He seemed unstable," said Alver after the arrest was made. "He just wanted to attack anyone he saw."
