Iran is reaching out to Norway to try to impose it's Islamic censorship of anything that "insults" Islam. Fortunately, this time they are not able to intimidate this student group who have published a poster the Iranians find insulting. I find it refreshingly true.

Hopefully the Norwegian government will not decide to take Iran's side and prosecute the students for a "hate crime".

Students ‘and Academics’ International Assistance Fund, SAIH currently conducting a campaign in support of student activists across the world, and the controversial poster hanging for hours in many Norwegian higher education institutions.

The head of the press, public relations and culture department at the embassy in Oslo, Mohammad Javad Hosseini who wrote the letter, which SAIH perceive as an attempt to censor them.

Khomeini is in bad company

The Embassy is put off that Khomeini is pictured with famous dictators, but especially the fact that Hitler is in the picture, the Iranians ask SAIH to remove the picture as quickly as possible.

- You have offended the feelings of a great nation, which we believe is on their agenda, it is stated in the letter.

- For your information it Khomeini was the popular leader of the Iranian history. When he overthrew the king in 1979 supported more than 98 percent of the people to him. Since 1979, Iran held elections for parliament and president several times. Embassy condemns again this regrettable action, and expect that the organization does something with this offensive initiative, it is stated in the letter from the Iranian Embassy.

Surprised by the reaction

Deputy Erik Schreiner Evans in SAIH believes the Iranians do not understand what free speech is.

Deputy Erik Schreiner Evans in SAIH said the inquiry was very surprising.

- It shows not only that the embassy does not respect freedom of speech, but they have not understood it. The inquiry illustrates exactly the problem we are trying to focus on, he says.

SAIH refuses to remove the poster, but assured in its answers to the Embassy that the purpose has been to hurt anyone’s feelings or reduce the importance of the popular uprising against the Shah that Khomeini headed.

- SAIH believe that students and student movements are a key in securing and maintaining democratic society, writes SAIH in the letter that is signed by SAIH deputy Erik Schreiner Evans.

- Known to be brutal

- We did not mean to say that there is another connection between the historical characters on the poster than they are internationally known to be brutal, anti-democratic and authoritarian, and that they all have a well-documented history of persecuting and killing political opponents. That, in addition to having familiar faces, is why we chose them specifically for this campaign, it is stated in the response letter.

The letter ends by stating that it is not necessary to remove the poster

- In fact, we think it is surprising and somewhat provocative that you are trying to censor us in this way.

Norway Christian convert attacked in asylum center

When you import Islam, you import all it's bad features, such as total religious intolerance and the use of violence. This story is a perfect example of the failure of multiculturalism because Islam cannot and will not accept integration with any Western or non-Muslim society.

'If you don't return to Islam, we'll kill you' "Ali" was told by fellow residents at the center. He doesn't want his name or picture published for fear of the other residents. If the Afghan authorities hear of his conversion, he risks being sentenced to death by stoning he he'll be deported back home.

The Afghan convert was lucky this time. He got away with a disfigured back covered with flaking skin under bandages. His Christian roommate, Reza, dries the oozing wounds and lays a supporting blanket under his head. Ali's face distorts in pain but his voice is calm and firm when he tells his story:

"Two of the Muslim residents asked why I didn't fast on Ramadan. When I didn't want to answer they started discussing. One said that he knew I had been Muslim and converted to Christianity, and that they had to do Jihad."

Bombing, shooting at political rally rocks Norway capital of Oslo

Edit, 07/23/2011. While I was wrong in blaming Islam for these atrocities in Norway, the fact remains that 99% of all mass murders and bombings in the past decade are the result of Muslim jihadists. That an Islamic terrorist group claimed responsibility shows the pervasive belief that all such actions are committed by Muslims.

Islam comes to Norway. This is the reward for Multiculturalism and Political Correctness. The more you give Islam, the more it takes, by force eventually. The more Muslims one imports, the more terrorism one imports. While not all Muslims are terrorists, the problem is telling the pious terrorists from "moderate", non-violent Muslims. Further, the Islamic terrorists could not function in Western society without massive support from the "moderate" Muslims. A BOMBING and a separate shooting in Oslo, which appear to have targeted Norway's prime minister and have left at least 11 people dead, are believed to be linked, police say.

Police say seven people have been confirmed dead following a bomb blast outside prime minister Jens Stoltenberg's office in Oslo.

Acting Police Chief Sveinung Sponheim told broadcaster NRK that investigators suspect today's bombing was linked to a shooting spree that killed four people at the Labor Party's youth camp later in the day by a gunman in a police uniform.

The bomb left seven people dead and another 15 injured, two seriously, police said.

Acting Police Chief Sponheim said: "We can confirm that we have seven dead and two have been seriously injured (in the bombing).''

On the outskirts of the city, four people were killed in the shooting.

"From what I saw, at least four people have been shot and killed,'' Adrian Pracon, a participant at the event, said.

The gunman turned up at the event saying he wanted to ensure security there following the deadly explosion in the Oslo city centre earlier on Friday, TV2 television reported, citing witnesses.

Prime Minister Stoltenberg had at one point been scheduled to attend the event, at a summer camp on Utoeya, an island just outside Oslo.

He was due to give a speech on Saturday morning to the 560 people attending the gathering.

NATO, Britain and the US joined together in condemning the 'barbaric' attacks.

The NATO chief denounced the "heinous'' acts against the alliance member's government and ruling party.

"On behalf of NATO, I condemn in the strongest possible terms the heinous acts of violence in Norway,'' said Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

"Our solidarity with Norway remains steadfast. NATO countries stand united in the battle against these acts of violence.''

Police in Oslo warned people to stay at home.

Burhanuddin Rabbani, former Afghan president and chairman of the Afghan High Peace Council, told BBC Persian Sunday that Norway had invested large amounts of money and had invited Taliban delegations to Norway several times recently for talks.

Nine Norwegian soldiers were killed in Afghanistan, most of them by the Taliban. UN envoy Siri Skare was also killed in a Taliban attack.

Helge Lurås of the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), says it’s clear Norway has a political interest in a reconciliation process, but that he doesn’t know how far it’s gotten. He also points out that it’s not certain that the strategy of the Norwegian authorities complies with that of the US and UK.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had no comment.

No wonder. These treacherous backstabbers from Norway should hang their heads in shame – and do a little research on the Islamic concepts of Taqiyya and Hudna.

A practicing Muslim man raped and threatened a young Norwegian girl for several hours. Numerous rapes in Sweden over the past several years have been committed by "non-Western men," e.g., Muslims. In fact, in the past year, all rapes in Oslo have been committed by non-Western men.

It seems that most, if not all, of these rapes were committed by African asylum-seekers.

16 of the 17 aggravated rapes and rape attempts in Stavanger (Norway) in the past two years were committed by men of non-Western background. Of the 18 men involved, only one was ethnic Norwegian. The violent rapes included six 'taxi rapes' [ed: these caused the police to advise women not to get into taxis alone].

Police sergeant Tor Erik Riska Thorsen of the Rogaland police district specializes in investigating sexual attacks. He thinks the explanation for why non-Western men are overrepresented in the statistics is simple: An primitive attitude towards women and little openness for sexuality.

Many of the immigrants in Rogaland come from remote areas where a prehistoric attitude towards women is still alive and well, explains Thorsen. This attitude is carried by the men to other countries.

"When a lightly dressed, intoxicated woman gets in alone into a taxi, the starting point is that she's already sinned. A Muslim woman can't do that. Those who attacked and raped women in the street thought that they were within their rights. They saw an intoxicated woman without an escort. She's then considered fair game in some Muslim communities. And by their own perception, the men think that women have no value as witnesses in a criminal case," says Thorsen.

The security branch of the Norwegian police (PST) say they have uncovered plans for terrorist attacks against targets in Norway, and that they have intervened against 25 Muslim fundamentalists that they believe planned terrorist acts against Norway and other nations.

- I can truly say that we have on several occasions sent persons out of the country who were about to do things that could have turned out to be very serious, says PST chief Joern Holme to NRK.
He says that they have also interviewed several perons who have been stopped and warned by the PST.

- We have said that we do not accept that they continue their activities in their extreme, violent circles, Holme says.

- It is important for us to prevent Norwegian youth from going on so-called Jihad-travels, which could mean that one carries out terrorist acts, and is willing to offer one's own life in terrorist acts, says Holme.

Holme says to NRK that he is talking about Norwegian as well as foreign citizens.
According to NRK, of the 25 persons young men referred to earlier in the story, none of them are of ethnic Norwegian background.

Norway: Muslim girls beaten for not wearing the hijab

More beatings from the Religion of Peace. Beatings, floggings, amputations and beheadings are all just normal occurrences within Islam. That young girls should be beaten for not obeying Islamic dress codes is par for the course and business as usual within the Muslim community. "In my office, women cried brave tears over having to go with a hijab. Countless young women despairingly told me that they don't have the hijab on all the time, they'll get a beating."

"These don't dare appear in the public debate," Fleischer told Vårt Land.

She's upset that young Muslim women say they are free to choose if they want to go with a hijab.

She says that the proud educated women who appear with the hijab, know too that their sisters are coerced. But they speak little of it. Fleischer says it should be part of their women's liberation to also support them. The coercion many women experience, is barely mentioned as an aside.

She says young girls have to move to other places in the country and live in secret addresses, also because they don't want to go with a hijab.

"Parents often beat their daughters into obedience and virtue and the hijab as a rule constitutes part of the control," says Fleischer.

She agree with Progress Party (Frp) head Siv Jensen that the women's movement of the left in Norway doesn't care about non-Western women.

Liberal politician Abid Q. Raja will head the parties work with the minority issue. He thinks the Labor Party (Ap) wronged the immigrants more than the progress Party.

"Frp just used scolding, but Ap completely neglected the problem areas for fear of being called racists. Not making demands from fellow citizens is not taking them seriously. We don't need to be pissed on behind our backs," says Raja.

Female Muslim police agents should primarily not arrest men, thinks imam Ahmed Esmaili, head of the imam committee at the Islamic Council of Norway (IRN).

"If she must arrest, and she is alone or together with other women, then she can do it. But if she is together with other colleague, who can take this part of the work, she isn't required to do it," says Esmaili to VG.

The reason being that Muslims shouldn't have physical contact with people of the opposite sex who are not family.

According to justice minister Knut Storberget's (Labor) letter to the police directorate 'covering of the hair will be given a humble scope'. That's not enough, thinks Esmaili.

"It's not enough with just a headscarf. Hijab is a garment which covers the entire body, except the hands and face. It's an obligation and a decree from Allah," says Esmaili.

Victims recovering from stabbing spree

Four persons stabbed in downtown Oslo Tuesday night by a man with a record of violence were in stable condition after their frightening ordeal. Their attacker was in police custody and being held at a psychiatric hospital.

The stabbing drama suddenly played out around the Gunerius shopping complex around 9am Tuesday.
One witness said he and his wife were walking down the pedestrian street Brugata after a theater visit, when a man came walking "quietly and calmly" towards them.
"Suddenly he raised his arm and he was holding a big Rambo-like knife," the man told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK). "My wife yelled 'RUN,' and we ran into a nearby café and yelled for everyone to stay inside and call the police."
The knife-wielding man proceeded to go on a stabbing spree, randomly assaulting passersby including one woman who was stabbed in the throat, a man whom he stabbed in the arm and another man who was stabbed while waiting for the tram in Storgata.
Police were finally able to apprehend the assailant, a 36-year-old man from Somalia, inside a local parking garage. He has a police record after earlier incidents involving possession of narcotics and violence.
"It would be wrong to say he was arrested without any drama," Lasse Alver of the Oslo Police District told Aftenposten.no. "It seemed as though he was trying to attack everyone and anyone he came across."
Two persons were sent to Ullevål Hospital while two others were treated at a local emergency clinic.
One witness said the man had been carrying the knife in a plastic bag, and pulled it out as he encountered potential victims. He ultimately threw the knife down and ran. "He seemed unstable," said Alver after the arrest was made. "He just wanted to attack anyone he saw."

Krekar sues the government

Mullah Krekar thinks the authorities have isolated him by taking away his right to work and study. He is taking his case to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

"I'm taking Norway to court to see that I’m getting everything I have a right to," says the 52 year-old Iraqi Kurd. He has been served an expulsion order which cannot be put into effect because he could face the death penalty if he returns home.
"He has no ID-papers, he cannot come and go as he pleases, he has no economic or social rights in this country. Instead he is in virtual house arrest without the means to support himself or his family," says his attorney, Brynjar Melling.
The Conservative Party leader, Erna Solberg doesn't think he has much chance of winning his case. "The suggestion that he cannot get medical care is untrue. Everyone in Norway, whether they are here legally or not, has the right to emergency funds from social services and emergency medical assistance. In Krekar’s case he doesn't qualify for emergency money because he has a wife that works earning an income for the family," says Solberg to daily newspaper Aftenposten.
"Krekar is being treated well. Many other countries intern people who are to be expelled," says Solberg.
The European Court of Human Rights has still not decided whether to accept Krekar's case.

Five Chechens arrested after attack on asylum centre

Five men from Chechnya were arrested after an attack on reception centre for asylum seekers at Våler 45 kilometres southeast of Oslo. More than 20 people were injured, including an 11 year-old boy.

The attack was directed at Kurdish and Arab guests living Nordbybråthen transit centre in Østfold County.
"Some of those arrested were picked near the centre and others were picked up in other places. Two came out of the woods nearby," says police chief Otto Stærk.
The first arrests were made at 5am on Friday morning. The five Chechens will be interviewed by police on Friday. The Police think that more arrests will take place soon.
Reports vary about how many attackers there were. Some say 40 to 50, others claim 100 and yet another estimate says 20. "What is certain is that there were a lot," says Stærk.
Police confiscated several weapons near the centre. According to Stærk, both machetes and iron bars were discovered. Those living at the centre reported seeing firearms, but so far the Police have not found any.
All the injured are expected to live, but it is not clear how seriously injured they are. Their condition remains stable.

"Conditions at the Nordbybråthen are difficult. This is because the centre houses asylum seekers who have had their claims rejected by Norwegian authorities and are waiting to be returned to the European country that first let them in," says General Secretary of the Norwegian Organization for Asylum Seekers (NOAS), Morten Tjessem to news bureau NTB.
"Conflicts are not uncommon in a situation like this, but a large group of people coming in from outside is both unusual and shocking," says Tjessem.

Norway better get used to it or get control of their muslim"guests".

Teen held in fatal stabbing

Honor killings continue to be perpetrated in Western society by muslim immigrants. This time an Iranian immigrant was stabbed to death by a Norwegian-Pakistani over a perceived slight to the Pakistani's family. So much for muslim bnrotherhood. All the PC, multi-culti, diversity excuses for such barbaric behavior will not eliminate it. Such behavior must be stopped, or those islamic sects perpetrating such murders must be removed from the West. You can take the muslim out of the ummah, but you can't take the ummah out of the muslim.

Teen held in fatal stabbing

An 18-year-old male was ordered held in custody on Monday for at least four weeks, after he stabbed and killed a 17-year-old friend on a playground in suburban Bærum Sunday afternoon. Shocked witnesses included small children.

The stabbing occurred after the two friends reportedly had quarreled at a party the night before. They agreed to meet on the playground in a housing complex in Rykkinn, to settle their differences.
The meeting ended with the older teen stabbing the younger. The victim died on the scene after being stabbed in the chest.
A witness saw the assailant throw down a knife and run off. He turned himself in to police just a few hours later.
His defense attorney, Vidar Lind Iversen, said the two had been good friends for a long time and his client denied the killing was premeditated. "He is very sorry about what happened and claims it was a deeply tragic accident," Lind Iversen said.
The stabbing was witnessed by many residents of the area and children, who were out in the sunshine Sunday afternoon. One resident, a man who sat on his balcony and heard the pair arguing, ran to help after he saw the stabbing and the victim fall to the ground. His wife told newspaper Dagbladet that he was well-trained in first-aid, but couldn’t stop the victim’s bleeding.
Family members and friends of the victim gathered at the scene Sunday evening, to lay down candles and flowers. The victim emigrated as a child from Iran to Norway, and his assailant was Norwegian-Pakistani. An acquaintance of both told newspaper Dagbladet that one had said unpleasant things about the other's family at the party Saturday night, "and that's forbidden in these circles."

Where to begin? This is a great example of how hyper tolerant, politically correct multi-culti idiocy ends up when you import an alien, hostile society into ones midst.

The police and the Kristiansand court think a 59 year old might commit honor murder if he's released from custody. The man is suspected of having sex with his two minor daughters for several years. After the attacks were reported, he threatened to kill his children. As a result one of the daughter has been housed in a secret address for fear of threats and reprisals from the father. Both girls say they fear their father will kill them if he gets out.

The father is not the only one the authorities need to worry about killing the girls. Just about all male relatives and a good proportion of female relatives will also try to kill them.

One of the daughters was told by close relatives to forget what happened or she'll be killed.

Intimidation from the family for it's "honor".

The 59 year old was arrested in February. The man is also suspect of obstructing the investigation by threatening to kill one of the daughter and two witness if they spoke to the police. Two of the sons in the family, brothers to the alleged victims, are suspected and have been arrested for having helped their father with obstructing the investigation.

The father, a Kurd, denies the allegations. He told police that he's a Muslim and that he neither hit nor attacked his daughters. He says the girls must be saying that he did because he didn't allow one of them to get married to the person she wanted, or that somebody else attacked them.

Just how did the father enforce his edict against his daughter not to marry the man she wanted to?

Witnesses who support the father think one or both daughter want to be independent and live out of the family.

What a horrible crime: wanting to live their own lives. For this, their own father wants to kill them.

But the daughters have told police that they have lived for years under threats and violence, along with sexual attacks.

Yes, pedophiles often escalate their violations and violence against their victims.

Police think the father's cultural and religious background significantly increase the risk of repeating the crimes. According to the investigators it's inexcusable and unacceptable that the victims speak with the police against their father's and brothers' wishes.

Yes, according to Sharia, women must obey every whim of their fathers and brothers.

The Kristiansand court supported the police in holding the 59 year old in prison for fear of repetition, until the case gets to court. The court wrote that this opinion must be seen in light of the suspect's cultural background which sees humiliation according to the honor concept as central. The court thinks the fact that the daughters have told of sexual assault is strongly related to loss of honor and that the father should therefore be under arrest.

This is fine as far as it goes, but if the girls are ever to live normal lives in Norway, every other Muslim will have to be deported. Not a bad idea.

Both the father and sons reject honor murder. Ketil Magnus Berg, the father's lawyers, says that loss of honor is not a problem since his client denies the accusations against him.

Well there you go, they deny the charges so they must be innocent. Case closed.

Police lawyer Ingrid Thorsen of the Agder police district says that they would request to continue to have the father imprisoned.

Again, a good start but the brothers and any male cousins or uncles need to be detained for the same reasons.

Insurgents threaten Norway

This is what you get for mollycoddling terrorists. The more you try to be "nice" the more they crap on you. Because the government of Iraq has sentenced Krekar to death in absentia, terrorist groups in Iraq are threatening Norway if he is sent back to Iraq. Now Norway is an a Catch 22 of it’s own making. On the one hand, they will not extradite anyone to face the death penalty, on the other, they have ordered him to be deported.

Insurgents threaten Norway
A coalition that's described as one of Iraq's most powerful insurgent groups is threatening retaliation against Norway if Mullah Krekar is sent back to Iraq.

Krekar is under an expulsion order after being determined a threat to Norway's national security. He initially came to Norway in the early 1990s as a refugee, but later emerged as the head of guerrilla group Ansar al-Islam and he repeatedly violated the terms of his asylum by traveling back to northern Iraq to lead guerrilla activities.
He hasn't been expelled yet, however, because he faces the death threat in Iraq. Norway won't extradite anyone, even criminals, if they risk being executed back home.
The Supreme Court recently cleared the way for his expulsion when the situation in Krekar's homeland stabilizes. The insurgent group "Front for reform and holy war" is demanding that Krekar be allowed to stay in Norway, regardless.
It sent a warning to the offices of French news service AFP in Baghdad late Wednesday afternoon, demanding that Krekar remain in Norway.
AFP reported that the group warned an expulsion of Krekar would become "quite painful" for the Norwegian government if it doesn't reverse the expulsion order on Krekar.
A coalition of other insurgent groups warned of an "economic boycott" of Norway, but observers in Iraq interpreted that more as a threat against Norway. The insurgent coalition includes the so-called Islamic Army in Iraq, the Mujahedin Army in Iraq and the armed branch of Ansar al-Sunna.
Anne Lene Dale Sandsten of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry downplayed the threat, stressing that Krekar won't be deported as long as the situation in Iraq is as unstable as it is now.
Noting that she only knew of the reported threat through the media, she added that sending Krekar back to Iraq now would violate Norway's human rights obligations.

Here is a classic example of political correctness driving law. Norway has this guy, a known terrorist whom they wish to deport, but cannot because he might receive the death penalty in Iraq. The U.S. also wants him, so why doesn't Norway extradite him here and solve their problem?

Just three days after Norway's highest court upheld a state expulsion order against Mullah Krekar, the man who's considered a threat to the nation's security has made new threats against the country that's harboured him for years.

Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reported Thursday that Krekar, the former head of Islamic guerrilla group Ansar al Islam, told a Kurdish web site that he's sure the Norwegian authorities will never deport him, because that would spark "reaction" against Norway from his Islamic supporters.
Krekar told web site Awane that the "reaction" would come from his relatives, from an armed group, and also from those who follow his religious teachings and sympathize with him.
The groups, he said, "probably are from Somalia or Morocco." He refused to specify what type of "reaction" he expected.
Krekar's remarks are being widely interpreted as new threats against Norway, and that, predictably enough, has sparked more anger among Norwegians who can't understand why Krekar remains in the country.
The official version is that Krekar faces a death sentence if sent back to his native Iraq. Norway won't deport anyone if their lives would officially be in danger, and no other country has volunteered to take over responsibility for Krekar.
The mullah originally came to Norway as a refugee, later won permission to have his family join him, and since has lived largely off Norwegian welfare. He first got in trouble with Norwegian authorities when it became known that he had repeatedly violated the terms of his asylum by traveling voluntarily back to northern Iraq, to lead the guerrilla group. US authorities have long considered Krekar a terrorist suspect.

Here is a look into the crime that comes part and parcel with Islamic immigrants. How Norway will deal with this is hard to figure out. The ultra liberal PC society has been importing Muslin immigrants for years and is now stuck with them. Politically, it will be difficult for the Norse to crack down on this form of criminality for fear of "insulting" the criminals.

Norwegian police have discovered that a large number of Pakistani taxi drivers, many of whom have already been charged with tax evasion in one of the worst cases of welfare fraud in the nation's history, have close contact with Pakistani gangs and operate as couriers of arms and drugs. In the city of Oslo it is documented that criminal Pakistani gangs also have close ties to Jihadist groups at home and abroad. This despite the fact that Norway, a nation of peace and home to the Nobel Peace Prize, should presumably get along just fine with Islam, which is, as we all know, a religion of peace.
