An interesting look into the Muslim mindset by ex-Muslim Dr Omar Zia. He shows just how mindlessly Muslims accept the tenets of Islam and how deeply they are ingrained.

Really, any religion that can get the majority of it's adherents to pray fives times per day and perform bazaar rituals is truly a powerful force. What I find most interesting is that there is such a strong desire within human beings to clew to such a demanding regimen. Within the Muslim community, religious indoctrination begins at the earliest possible age in a Muslims life and is reinforced daily until death.

Continuing with my last topic of evolution, or lack thereof, in a Muslim mind, let me give you three real-life examples of how I observed Islam’s toxic effect on the mind of Muslims and how, in my view, they will effect the world around us in the foreseeable future.

1. Mind of a Sri Lankan Muslim
Two years ago while traveling through Sri Lanka I befriended a taxi driver in Colombo.
He was a young devout Muslim from a family of ten: two aged parents and eight grown-up children. He was the youngest member of the family born and bred in Sri Lanka. From my chats with him during several excursions in the city, I pieced together a detailed picture of the conditions and aspirations of Muslims in Sri Lanka.

2. Mind of my young, ambitious nephew
On my last visit to Pakistan, my 18 year nephew visited me and implored to arrange a visa for him to go to England. He was close to completing his schooling but was quite despondent of his future prospects in Pakistan. I explained to him that even though I will endeavor to help him all I can, the final word would rest with the British consulate and it would be his academic records, which, in the end, would decide his fate. My motive was to inspire him to study harder as he seemed quite lacking in knowledge for his age. I also told him that he would have to supplement his studies in England with menial jobs. He seemed absolutely comfortable with that news.

3. Mind of my educated, progressive, and nonreligious Muslim brother
The third incident, which I wish to relate, came soon after the above incidence during a dinner chat with my progressive, highly educated and largely nonreligious brother. I was lamenting to him at the Taliban’s tactics of usurping power in Pakistan. He coolly informed me that Taliban are good people except that they have interpreted Islam wrongly and all true Muslims harbor a Taliban within them. Much shocked at this statement, I asked him to show me what part Taliban had misinterpreted from the Quran. Noticing that he was attempting to change the subject, I persisted and asked him if he had read the Quran with the understanding of it meaning. Not surprisingly, the answer was a somewhat embarrassing "NO".

PR Jihad. I don't know how long this disinformation campaign has been going on, but it certainly is ambitious and widespread. The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) has placed billboards in over two dozen American cities with the line: "Confused about Muslims? Give one a call". Plainly, this is a major effort at disinformation and is part of stealth jihad.

The stated purpose of "WhyIslam" is supposedly to give non-Muslims truthful insight into Islam. In reality, it presents a sanitized, westernized version of the Koran that omits the violence and totalitrian nature of Islam.
This puff piece by Lindsay Wise gushes over the wonders of Islam, but neglects to mention ICNA's ties with The Muslim Brotherhood, the founding organization behind much of the Islamic terrorisn going on in the world.

Ever wonder what the Quran has to say about terrorism? Why Muslim women wear veils? What Islam teaches about Jesus?
Ask a Muslim. All you have to do is call 1-877-WHY-ISLAM.
A billboard advertising the toll-free number sprang up last month on FM 1960 near Interstate 45. Similar ones have also been posted in San Antonio, Dallas, El Paso and two dozen other U.S. cities.

The billboards are part of a nationwide campaign by the Islamic Circle of North America to educate non-Muslims about Islam and promote interfaith dialogue.
Calls to the hot line are answered in New Jersey by ICNA volunteers, who field an average of 1,000 queries a month on everything from the life of the Prophet Muhammad to the definition of jihad. The billboard also advertises a Web site, www.whyislam.org, where people can e-mail questions, participate in discussion forums, request free copies of the Quran, or schedule a visit to a mosque.

“The idea was to help answer the questions that people have about Islam,” said ICNA board member Hanif Harris, a 38-year-old Realtor from Clear Lake. “This way, they’ll get the answers directly from Muslims.”
Harris, who grew up in Philadelphia, converted to Islam in 1991. Over the years, he’s often had to correct misconceptions about Islam among co-workers and family members.

"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.
After nearly three decades of severed ties, Obama said shortly after taking office this month that he is willing to extend a diplomatic hand to Tehran if the Islamic republic is ready to "unclench its fist".

In response, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched a fresh tirade against the United States, demanding an apology for its "crimes" against Iran and saying he expected "deep and fundamental" change from Obama....

Mitchell: Open Borders Will Prevent Smuggling

George Mitchell is back at it, undermining Israeli security and screwing the only democracy in the Middle East. Of course open borders will prevent smuggling. But with open borders, Israel will cease to exist. Which is of course George Mitchell's goal.

It would behoove Israel to declare Mitchell persona non gratis and demand an American representative like John Bolton take his place.

If Mitchell really wants "a sustainable and durable ceasefire" between Hamas and Israel then he should get out on his own two feet and walk around the Gaza strip to stop Hamas' rocket fire into Israel. He might find that his Hamas "buddies" are not so nice as he claims.

Mitchell: Open Borders Will Prevent Smuggling

Following a meeting with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah on Thursday, newly-appointed American Middle East envoy George Mitchell called for open crossings into Gaza and greater Fatah involvement there.

Talking to reporters after his discussions with Fatah leader Abbas and other PA officials, Mitchell said, "To be successful in preventing the illicit traffic of arms into Gaza, there must be a mechanism to allow the flow of legal goods. And that should be with the participation of the [Fatah-controlled] Palestinian Authority."

Fatah is the faction currently heading the Judea and Samaria half of the Authority, while the more jihadist Hamas controls the Gaza half of the PA. Hamas initially took legislative power in a landslide in PA-wide elections, and later carried out a successful coup in Gaza in order to obtain absolute control there.
The U.S. envoy further called for "a sustainable and durable ceasefire" between Hamas and Israel. Mitchell added that he had expressed to Abbas President Barack Obama's "deep concern over the killing of the Palestinians and the humanitarian situation in Gaza." The President is also committed to a Palestinian State and "lasting peace", according to Mitchell.

While Abbas did not address the media following his meeting with Mitchell, senior PA representative Saeb Erekat told journalists that the PA chairman discussed "humanitarian aid to Gaza, the importance of the truce, opening the crossings and lifting the blockade of Gaza." Abbas also claimed that "continued construction of Israeli settlements, creating facts on the ground... and construction of the wall are an attempt to separate the West Bank from the Gaza Strip," according to Erekat. He added that Israel's Operation Cast Lead in Gaza harmed the chances for peace in the region.

Touching on another matter, Erekat said that Abbas told Mitchell of his eagerness to form a unified regime with Hamas. Due to the American boycott of Hamas, which it officially recognizes as a terrorist entity, Mitchell is not going to visit Gaza during his current Middle Eastern tour.
Mitchell met with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesday, after meetings in Egypt. He also met with IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi. On Friday, Mitchell is scheduled to meet with Knesset opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu.

Police warn of terrorism ahead of election

German police rightly believe there is a high likelihood of a terrorist attack prior to their September elections. However, in the same time, they believe that there are only a few dozen convert terrorists, and that they are "misguided". They're not misguided, they're only following the teachings of the Koran to spread Islam over the whole of humanity. This is another case of political correctness standing in the way of fending off the Muslim invasion.

The steady increase of accommodation to Muslin religious demands only fuels more demands and more violence. It's not rocket science to understand that rewarding negative behavior only encourages more of it. So why are most Western politicians bending over and grabbing their ankles in the face of the Islamic invasion?

Police warn of terrorism ahead of election

Jörg Ziercke, head Germany's BKA federal police agency for criminal investigation issued a warning on Saturday that Islamist extremists may attempt terrorist attacks ahead of the general election on September 27 in order to influence the outcome.

Ziercke told news magazine Focus: “We see clear parallels with the circumstances in Spain.” It is widely believed that the Madrid terrorist attack of March 2004 had an influence on the election in Spain, and led indirectly to the withdrawal of Spanish troops from Iraq.

Ziercke sees radical converts to Islam based in Germany as a particular threat. “They know the German infrastructure, they are socially integrated, and we have to assume that they are prepared to do anything.” According to the BKA, a few dozen German Islamists have been trained in terrorist training camps.

“Often misguided converts are the most radical,” said Ziercke, though he warned against being suspicious of all Muslim converts.

The recently-broadcast al-Qaeda videos explicitly threatening Germany have put the government's main security departments such as the BKA, and the domestic intelligence agency the Verfassungsschutz on high alert. “The latest videos show clearly that Germany and German interests abroad are threatened,” said Verfassungsschutz president Heinz Fromm.

Fromm told the newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt the statements made by terrorist Bekkay Harrach in one of these videos strongly suggested an attack ahead of the German election.

According to statistics published in Focus, the number of Islamist-motivated crimes has risen in the past year. The BKA is currently investigating 160 cases, a significant increase on the 105 being investigated a year ago. Since September 11 2001, 61 Germans have been killed in Islamic terrorist attacks on foreign soil.

CAIR once again has it's panties in a painful wad. This time over a Priest who knows the Koran better than most Muslims and uses his knowledge to illustrate the incompatibility of Islam with Western society. Fr. Botros must be striking a nerve with the Muslim street because a 60 million dollar bounty has been placed on his head.

The good Fr. has upset countless millions of Muslims around the world by simply quoting passages from the Koran. Evidently, they can't handle the truth.

Apparently his last few shows dealing with Muhammad's questionable sexual habits, including necrophilia -- which I translated here, here, CAIR, specifically as his words are "embraced by a number of bloggers and Web sites that criticize Islam."

Why do radical Muslims, such as CAIR, hate -- and fear -- Zakaria Botros so? (I first described him and his ministry on NRO; be sure to click on links that go to important video clips of him, with English subtitles, where he makes several impressive demands of Islam). The problem Muslims have with Fr Botros is that they simply cannot refute him: everything he says -- no matter how scandalizing to Islam -- is always based on, often revered, Islamic sources. Moreover, Fr Botros rarely makes any claims about Islam: he only exposes; he only raises questions and then invites Islam's ulema to respond and "clarify" the matter. However, as this story indicates, their response is only to have him censored -- or, for the more radical, killed.

As he always says, however, "This stuff is in your own books! If you don't like it, go burn your books -- you know, the way Caliph Uthman burned all the other contending Korans [there were 7] when he prepared the authoritative version, the one you believe is based on a 'heavenly' Koran!"

Muslim population 'rising 10 times faster than rest of society'

Demographic Jihad races on producing children at a rate 10 times faster than Western society. Muslims are rapidly approaching the point where they can run and vote Muslims into the political arena. The next step after that is use politics to ultimately impose Sharia law on the West.

The Muslim population in Britain has grown by more than 500,000 to 2.4 million in just four years, according to official research collated for The Times.

The population multiplied 10 times faster than the rest of society, the research by the Office for National Statistics reveals. In the same period the number of Christians in the country fell by more than 2 million.

Experts said that the increase was attributable to immigration, a higher birthrate and conversions to Islam during the period of 2004-2008, when the data was gathered. They said that it also suggested a growing willingness among believers to describe themselves as Muslims because the western reaction to war and terrorism had strengthened their sense of identity.

Muslim leaders have welcomed the growing population of their communities as academics highlighted the implications for British society, integration and government resources.

David Coleman, Professor of Demography at Oxford University, said: “The implications are very substantial. Some of the Muslim population, by no means all of them, are the least socially and economically integrated of any in the United Kingdom ... and the one most associated with political dissatisfaction. You can't assume that just because the numbers are increasing that all will increase, but it will be one of several reasonable suppositions that might arise.”

A Christian worship service in Pakistan's Muslim-dominated city of Karachi turned frightening when unidentified men burst into Christ Awami Church on New Year's Day, demanding that worship stop. The congregation resisted, and the assailants retaliated: Church members say the men desecrated Bibles and a cross on the wall, destroyed hymnals, smashed windows, and dumped garbage on the church grounds.

The attack wasn't isolated. Christians at two other Protestant churches in the city reported assaults during the same week: Church-goers in the Zia neighborhood said attackers broke the church door, shattered windows, and threw garbage into the church. Congregants in the Golimar community said a group of men threatened them during a Sunday night meeting, but local police intervened.

We’re at war with these jihadists and we better know their doctrine, history, strategy and sources of information. But tragically, the segment of America that should be able to give expert advice on the subject to our political leadership, other policy makers, and military the academic experts in Middle Eastern studies — can’t carry out any such responsibility to give needed advice. Spenc er writes that instead of providing needed advice these academics have adopted a politically correct orthodoxy that values “tolerance” of non-Western cultures above the objective search for truth. The mere suggestion the jihadists — hatred for us is rooted in the Qur’an and other fundamental Islamic texts is simply not tolerated in academia. As a result, many Americans as well as policy makers continue to cast about in vain for a way to satisfy our enemies — grievances.”

Our colleges and universities freely accept millions to finance Middle East studies departments and their professors from Saudis and others who know what they want to buy by their contributions and universities such as Columbia, Harvard and Georgetown freely accept such money ... and deliver what the donors want to buy. Yes, our great colleges and universities, such as Columbia and Harvard, have been reduced to intellectual houses of prostitution ... for sale to any high bidder. So Saudis and other jihadist-friendly donors can buy propaganda centers in the U.S. to undermine our nation.

In his first week and a half in office, US President Barack Obama has proven that he is a man of his word. For instance, he was not bluffing during his campaign when he said that he would make reconstituting America's relations with the Islamic world one of his first priorities in office.

Obama's first phone call to a foreign leader was to PLO chieftain Mahmoud Abbas last Wednesday morning. And this past Tuesday, Obama gave his first television interview as president to al-Arabiya pan-Arabic television network.
In that interview Obama explained the rationale of his approach to the Muslim world. "We are looking at the region as a whole and communicating a message to the Arab world and the Muslim world, that we are ready to initiate a new partnership based on mutual respect and mutual interest," the new president said.

Obama distanced his administration from its predecessor by asserting that rather than dictate how Muslims should behave, his administration plans, "to listen, set aside some of the preconceptions that have existed and have built up over the last several years. And I think if we do that, then there's a possibility at least of achieving some breakthroughs."

In short, Obama argues that the root of Islamic world's opposition to the US is its shattered confidence in America's intentions. By following a policy of contrition for Bush's "cowboy diplomacy," and acting with deference in its dealing with the Muslim world, then in his view, a new era of US-Islamic relations will ensue.
Obama's honesty was a hot subject during the presidential campaign. Many analysts claimed that he was a closet moderate who only made far leftist pronouncements about "spreading the wealth around," and meeting with Iran "without preconditions," to mollify his far left partisan base.

Others argued that Obama was a man of his word. From his voting records in the Illinois Senate and the US Senate, and in light of his long associations with domestic and foreign policy radicals, these commentators predicted that if elected, Obama's policies would be far to the left of center.

Judging by Obama's actions since entering office last week, it appears that the latter group of analysts was correct. Obama is not a panderer.

This is a small glimmer of light in the looming darkness of the Obama roll-over to Islam. At least one military judge has the nads to fulfill his oath to be impartial and not allow undue influence. It's not surprising though that the Obama regime thought they could just demand that the law be put aside because it is inconvient for them.

A military judge in Guantanamo Bay has denied the Obama administration's request to delay proceedings for 120 days in the case of a detainee accused of planning the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole warship, an al-Qaeda strike that killed 17 service members and injured 50 others.
The decision throws into some disarray the administration's plan to buy time as it reviews individual detainee cases as part of its plan to close the U.S. military prison at the Guantanamo naval base in Cuba. The Pentagon may now be forced to withdraw the charges against Abd al Rahim al-Nashiri, a Saudi citizen of Yemeni descent.

In one of its first actions, the Obama administration instructed military prosecutors to seek 120-day suspensions of legal proceedings in the cases of 21 detainees who have been charged. There are approximately 245 prisoners held at Guantanamo.

The request was quickly granted in other cases when prosecutors told military judges that a suspension was in the "interests of justice" so that the "president and his administration [can] review the military commissions process, generally, and the cases currently pending before military commissions, specifically."
But Judge James Pohl, an Army colonel, said he found the government's reasoning "unpersuasive."

"The Commission is unaware of how conducting an arraignment would preclude any option by the administration," said Pohl in a written opinion, portions of which were read to The Post. "Congress passed the military commissions act, which remains in effect. The Commission is bound by the law as it currently exists, not as it may change in the future."
Nashiri is facing arraignment on Feb. 9, and Pohl said the proceedings would go ahead....

From 2:10 to 3:15 viewers can hear the crowd laugh as the police actually run as street cones are being thrown at them. The crowd pursues them as they call the police "cowards". At 5:40 two police officers decide to fight back and billy-club a protester. As for the rest, the police might as well have gotten down on their knees and prayed to Allah.

But just a few days after the United States' annual honoring of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life and courage in defying supremacism, another man in another part of the world in another era, was being charged once again with inciting hatred for defying another supremacist ideology. That man was Geert Wilders, a legislator in the Netherlands, who has dared to defy the ideology of Islamic supremacism. Attorney Nadia Tawfiq said Judge Abdelaa Hashem questioned Makkar extensively about her Christian faith during the hearing. Makkar explained her reasons for conversion, avowing her Christian faith and repudiating the judge’s claims that converting from Islam to Christianity was impossible. “Then he said, ‘I want to talk with Martha alone,’ so we all left the room, and he said to her, ‘Nobody changes from Muslim to Christian – you are a Muslim,’” Tawfiq said. “And she said, ‘No, I am a Christian.’ He told her, ‘If I had a knife now, I would kill you.’ [Makkar] came out crying and depressed, but at least he gave the decision to let her go free.” Makkar, 24, said police and members of her extended family have threatened her incessantly, with the latter threatening to kill her.

Here's a perfect example of the influence of Islam over human beings. When Islam can compel a son to murder his mother over an allegation, then that is not a religion but a totalitarian, all encompassing regime of terror.

LAHORE

A YOUTH slaughtered his mother on suspicion of illicit relations at Shaheen Colony in the Factory Area police precincts on Monday. The deceased was identified as 45-year-old Zarqa Sana.

According to Mirza Atif, another son of the victim, his elder but step brother Dilawar started exchanging harsh words with their mother over a family matter. During the process, the accused shot at and injured the victim. Later, he slaughtered her with a sharp-edged weapon. Rescue 1122 officials, after being informed, reached the scene and rushed the victim to the General Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. Meanwhile, police officials reached the scene and removed the body to morgue.

Police sources, however, claimed that the killer was suspicious that his mother had developed illicit relations with a local of the area. They alleged that Zarqa was going to meet her paramour on Monday and Dilawar stopped her but she turned a deaf ear to his words. Factory Area Circle ASP Sarfaraz Virak said they had arrested the killer, who confessed to committing the crime in police custody, alleging that his mother had a bad character.

A Saudi businessman was sentenced to four months in prison and 200 lashes for hosting a mixed concert at his fun park in the Muslim holy city of Mecca, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The man was arrested after an argument with agents from the powerful religious police who ordered him to end the concert, the daily Okaz said.
A court found the man guilty of hindering the work of the agents of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, known as Muttawa, and involvement in "organising a concert where men and women mix."
The ultra-conservative kingdom applies a strict version of sharia, or Islamic law, which imposes segregation between the sexes.

It is also the only country where women are not allowed to drive, and they have to cover themselves from head to toe while in public.

Izaiah Buksh is suffering from bruises and will need to undergo a root canal after what he says was a religiously charged fight that broke out at a ball hockey tournament in Burnaby, B.C., on Sunday.
The 20-year-old, who was playing in the B.C. Muslim Sports Association-sponsored event, said he was warned not to play in the tournament because, though he's a Muslim, he is not a Sunni.
The mood of the game turned tense early on when his team took an early lead. Buksh said the opposing team, made up of Sunni Muslims, told him, "You guys shouldn't even be here. You're not Muslim."
Violence ultimately escalated after a play where the opposing goalie swung his stick at Buksh.

Buksh said he went to tell the referee, and when he turned around, he was attacked by a player.
That's when the fight broke out.

"Another player on my team came in and then my dad and the coach came in. At the end, it was most of the gym to three or four guys," Buksh recounted.
He estimates his group was outnumbered about 10 to one.
Buksh's father, Ahmed, said he feared for his son's safety.
"It was basically a riot by that time and swarming — one of my sons fell down."
The B.C. Muslim Sports Association said it will issue sanctions against some players. It contends, though, that the sanctions are purely sports-related and that the incident was not religiously motivated.

United Nations forbids defaming religion, specifically Islam

On Inauguration Day, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, in a New York Times ad ("An Invitation to a New Partnership"), told "Dear President OBAMA" that Muslims "have compelling strategic and moral reasons to cooperate and peacefully co-exist with the United States in particular, and with the West in general."

Many Muslims here and elsewhere want that partnership; but some, jihadists in the name of Islam, disagree violently. In its address to our new president, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (which has permanent status at the United Nations) made no mention of its own strategic skills that resulted, on Dec. 18, in the passage by the U.N. General Assembly of a nonbinding resolution (with strong advice to its members) that condemns "defamation of religion," especially Islam.

In a 83-to-53 vote, with 42 abstentions, the U.N. General Assembly urges nations to provide "adequate protections" in their laws or constitutions against "acts of hatred, discrimination, intimidation and coercion resulting from defamation of religions and incitement to religious hatred in general."

Only Islam and Muslims are specifically named in this resolution against religious defamation sponsored by Uganda — on behalf of the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference — with co-sponsors Belarus and Venezuela. In the opposition were the United States, a majority of European countries, Japan, India and a number of other nations.

Those voting in favor say they do not want to limit free speech but do intend to stop such expressions as the 2005 Danish cartoons disrespecting the Prophet Muhammad that ignited violent protests by Muslims around the world.

We plan to provide them legal rights under the equal protection clause. What is happening in Western civilization? Have we become so enamored with this illness called multiculturalism that we are embarrassed to honor and defend our own cultural principles? This reminds me of the seminal scene from the movie A Few Good Men. “I want the truth,” one of the character says. And the response was: “You can’t handle the truth.” I am starting to believe that we–actually our elected officials–are not leaders, and cannot handle the truth. The truth is that an enemy does exist and that this enemy lives amongst us, and hates us. The truth is that our insidious policies of open immigration and multiculturalism are now ushering in our demise and promoting the deconstruction of our Western civilizational values, freedom of conscience, and the freedom to express our thoughts.

The truth as I see is that we no longer have men in Western governments who are willing to defend our way of life. I find this prosecution of Geert Wilders to be an example of abject cowardice. How can it be that Islam has become such an intimidating religion that men cower away? And I address “men” because I have found more often that women are taking a stand and condemning this modern-day totalitarian, imperialistic radical ideology mired in antiquated 7th century concepts.

Islam as a religion elevates and follows a man who was nothing more than a psychopath, murderous warlord, and by modern-day standards a sexual deviant and pedophile. Islam as a political entity is based upon complete submission and seeks only to subjugate and suppress every freedom we cherish in western civilization. Until Islam undergoes a reformative process bringing it into alignment with the rest of the world, then I shall reject it, and stand against it. The converse I find reprehensible; to convert, be subjugated, or die, which are the Koranic options given to me, a non-Muslim.
I will gladly peacefully coexist with Islam. Can the same be said in reverse? And do not tell me about the Koranic verse stating, “there is no compulsion in religion,” because I understand the theory of naskh or abrogation. That means that the later verses of the Koran supercede previous verses. As a result, most violent verses in the Koran abrogate previous “peaceful” writings.

Have I just committed hate speech? No, it is the truth according to the Koran and the Hadiths, and I have no fear in stating such. I will not allow Western civilization nor America to be paralyzed by soft or hard jihad, by legal tactics, nor kinetic attacks. I pledge to fight, not for myself, but for others, for our future and legacy which we leave our children and grandchildren. Any man that cannot find the courage to do so as well, especially leaders in western civilization, I call a coward.
Geert, stand resolute, my comrade. You will win this fight, and we shall defeat this third jihad and incursion to defeat our way of life.

As has already been done in Malaysia, the Indonesian ulemas are also prohibiting the practice of yoga for Muslims, because it contains elements characteristic of the Hindu tradition. The Islamic religious authorities reject the "recitation of mantras," and stress that continuing the practice means "committing a sin" and "weakening faith in Islam." The decision has already raised criticisms among Indonesian Muslims: yoga is one of the favorite activities among citizens and businessmen to get rid of stress and recover mental and physical balance.

As they say on the TV show "24," the following took place last week between 9 and 10 p.m. on a flight from Los Angeles to Denver.

I spoke for a few minutes to the 20-year-old woman seated across the aisle from me.

She: What brings you to Denver?"
Me: I am giving a speech.
She: What do you do?
Me: I'm a radio talk show host.
She: Who did you vote for?
Me: McCain
She: Why?
Me: Smaller government and the war on terror.
She: Terror is the new communism.
Me: Communism killed about a hundred million people. And who do you think attacked and killed 3,000 of us on Sept. 11?
She: The government.

For the record, as I believe this to be essential to understanding this young woman's views, she is a student attending the University of California Santa Barbara.

Truth is she had to be a student at a major university. She would never have come up with "Terror is the new Communism" on her own. It is a moral obscenity that one has to learn.

Of course, there is an irony to this statement. Meant in the opposite way she meant it, I could largely assent to the proposition that terror is the new communism. Communism was an enslaving and murderous threat in its time and the Jihadism is such a threat in our lifetime.

But that is not how this young woman meant the statement. As she has learned history and the contemporary world, communism was a bogeyman in its time and terror is a bogeyman in our time.

When I told her that communism had killed 100 million people, I could not tell if she even processed the words. It was as if had I uttered a series of nonsense syllables. She either didn't believe me or didn't care.

Last week, the Israel Defense Forces issued an unprecedented directive. All Israeli media outlets must obscure the faces of soldiers and commanders who fought in Operation Cast Lead. Henceforth, the identities of all IDF soldiers and officers who participated in the operation against the Hamas terror regime in Gaza are classified information.

The IDF acted as it did in an effort to protect Israeli soldiers and officers from possible prosecutions for alleged war crimes in Europe. The army's chief concern is England. In England, private citizens are allowed to file complaints against foreigners whom they claim committed war crimes. Based on these complaints, British courts can issue arrest warrants against such foreigners if they are found on British territory and force them to stand trial. Over the past few years, a number of active duty and retired IDF senior officers were forced to cancel visits to Britain after such complaints were filed against them in sympathetic local courts.

Following the IDF's move, on Sunday the government announced that Israel will provide legal assistance to any IDF veteran prosecuted abroad for actions he performed during his service in Gaza. The legal assistance will include representation, investigation of the allegations made against veterans, attempts to have the charges against them dismissed and defense at trials.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who brought the decision before the full cabinet, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and their colleagues all asserted that by committing the state to defending its warriors, they were fulfilling their sacred duty to protect Israel's protectors.
Unfortunately, both the cabinet decision itself and our leaders' statements missed the point.

The Mystery Dead Of Gaza

This is to be expected. The "mystery dead of Gaza" are really the inflated figures claimed by Hamas and pimped by the MSM. Now that the Israeli incursion into Gaza is over, the true death toll of "Palestinians" is coming out. It's not the 1,300 or so claimed by Hamas and their western dhimmis, but about 500, mostly young males killed in counter attacks to rocket and mortar fire.

We will find that there has been much less destruction of buildings than has been reported by the Hamas propaganda machine and leftist media. I suppose the billion dollar gift by the Saudis can be spent on more Iranian rocket instead of rebuilding the hovels that the "Palestinians" claim were destroyed by Israel.

The Mystery Dead Of Gaza

January 25, 2009: Palestinians have found, in their decades of fighting Israel, that well crafted lies can be an effective weapon. The recent 22 day battle in Gaza, between Hamas and Israel, ended with the Palestinians claiming they had lost 1,300 dead, and the Israelis admitting to 13 (including four soldiers from friendly fire.) Now, as reporters get into Gaza, and start asking questions, the Palestinian death toll is starting to shrink. Medical personnel at the Palestinian hospitals say that there appeared to be no more than about 500 dead, and most of them were young males (guys of fighting age). Civilian dead appear to have been no more than a hundred or so.

Gaza is not the first time this has happened. Take the 2002 battle in Jenin, in the West Bank. Jenin was a refugee camp that had been taken over by five terrorist groups (including Hamas) and used as a base for launching over a hundred attacks on Israelis (mostly civilians.) The fighting went on for nine days, and even before it was over (with a crushing defeat for the terrorists) it was being claimed that the Israelis had massacred over a thousand Arab civilians. But once a detailed investigation was conducted, outside experts (most of them pro-Arab) concluded that only 53 Arabs were killed (only five could be conclusively proven to be civilians), and 23 Israelis (who went to extraordinary lengths to avoid civilian casualties). The rest were armed Palestinians trying to kill Israelis. Some 200 Arab terrorists also surrendered, and a few escaped the camp.

When the Palestinians first made their claims of an Israeli massacre, the generally anti-Israeli Western media (especially in Europe, where anti-Semitism was awakening from its post-World War II slumber) accepted the claims and pumped out stories of the alleged Israeli barbarity. The Palestinians provided photo ops and trained witnesses to the alleged atrocities. Most Western media took all this at face value. Same thing happened recently in Gaza, although there were a few more Western, and Moslem, journalists who were skeptical. But they had to keep it down, as the Palestinian propaganda was still ascendant.

Back in 2002, it wasn't long before the edifice of lies began to crumble. Aerial photos of Jenin showed the area where the fighting took place was very small area. Efforts to identify victims kept coming up with only a few dozen dead. Some of more strident anti-Israeli groups insisted that this was all a clever Israeli cover-up, and that hundreds of dead Arabs were secretly carted away and disposed of. But no one could find anyone who knew any of these mystery dead. The same thing is happening in Gaza. And why wouldn't it.

What’s in a name? A great deal. Democracy, fascism, and communism represent different systems of government. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are also titles for different religious systems.

Whereas democracy is defined as the rule of the people, by the people, for the people, Islam is defined as the rule of Allah, by Allah and his emissaries, for the pleasure of Allah. And when people, out of concern for political correctness or ignorance, describe Islam as a religion of peace, they are, at the very least, guilty of misrepresenting it.

The word “Islam,” is derived from the word “taslim,” which means surrender. The word for peace is not “taslim,” but it is “solh.” Hence, when Muslims behave in violent barbaric ways, they are only doing so in obedience to the dictates of their creed. They are surrendering and sacrificing anything and everything in service to the will and pleasure of Allah, as they see it.

Of course, not every Muslim surrenders fully to the will of Allah. The great majority of Muslims are only partial Muslims. They may say their daily obligatory prayers, they may tithe some, and they may keep the fast from time to time. Yet, they may also have a few drinks now and then, and do many things that they are not supposed to do.

But Islam can be a “forgiving” religion, specifically for the male. If you neglect to say your prayers or you simply don’t want to, you can hire someone, preferably an imam or a mullah, to pray on your behalf. Going to the Hajj is too onerous and takes you away from the pleasures and comforts of your life? You can deputize someone else to go in your stead. You have a few drinks of the forbidden brew and it is time to say your prayer? Simply rinse your mouth and go ahead with praying. But, always remember the will of Allah and serve him. Do your duties to vanquish the unbelievers, promote the rule of the Shari’a, and make the earth Allah’s.

If only the masses of Muslims arise and carry out the orders of Allah, then we would have the promised paradise of Islam on earth as exemplified by such rules as that of the Taliban, Saudi Arabia, the Sudan, and of course the Shiite nirvana of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Obama's Auntie Zeituni is back in the news

Well this is a heck of an example for Presidents to set. It must be wonderful to be even remotely related to the rich and famous. George Bush initially protected Obama's Aunt prior to the election via a screening process that requires high level approval before any arrest can be made. That insured that no eager beaver ICE agent "accidentally" hauled Auntie to the Hoosegow. This of course, aside from being highly improper, must be interfering with ICE's operations all over the country.

BTW, I must be missing something if a illegal alien can just move around the country on public assistance. Or attend the inauguration accompanied by their personal immigration lawyer. Wish I could get a deal like that. Oh wait, Obama is going to give EVERYBODY a big check this year.

Barack Obama is not just the first black president — he’s also probably the first president to have an aunt who is an illegal alien. And George W. Bush made sure to protect her before he left office. The Associated Press reports:

The Homeland Security Department still is requiring high-level approval before federal immigration agents can arrest fugitives, a rule quietly imposed by the Bush administration days before the election of Barack Obama, whose aunt has been living in the United States illegally.
The unusual directive from the Homeland Security Department came amid concerns that such arrests might generate “negative media or congressional interest,” according to a newly disclosed federal document obtained by The Associated Press.

Man Accused Of Killing Daughter For Family Honor

I'm surprised at the balanced and un-biased approach in this NPR article on an Islamic "honor killing", they do however entirely miss the Islamic connection. This is a big step forward in the information war aspect of the Counter Jihad war when a uber liberal media outfit gives an honest report on what must be an unpleasant truth. It's critical that the truth about the Islamic invasion is understood on a basic level by the man on the street and NPR is widely viewed and respected.

Man Accused Of Killing Daughter For Family Honor

Police in Atlanta have been investigating the death of a 25-year-old Pakistani woman, who was allegedly murdered by her father in the name of family honor.
She wanted out of an arranged marriage, but her father thought a divorce would bring shame to the family.

Honor killings are old rites of murder within families, committed because of some perceived dishonor or shame. The United Nations estimates around 5,000 deaths occur each year — mostly of women, mostly in South Asia and the Middle East.
A Quiet Street

Detective Mike Christian of the Clayton County Police Department has lived in Jonesboro, a suburb of Atlanta, all his life.
"Supposedly Tara — the big plantation from 'Gone with the Wind' — this is where it was located," Christian says of the family's home.
Past the cemetery where the flag still flies, he pulls into a quiet street with tidy brickfront two-story homes.

"That's it — 9816," he says. "They've got a 'for sale' sign in the yard. The window to her bedroom is open."
It was around 1 a.m. on July 6 when police got several 911 calls connected to that house. The first was from a man who told police, "My daughter's dead." Then, at 1:55 a.m., Clayton County received a 911 call from a woman named Gina Rashid who was worried about her stepdaughter, Sandeela.
'My Daughter's Dead'

"I hear a lot of hollering and screaming," Rashid says, "and I just woke up and I asked my family what's going on. They're from Pakistan. They're not speaking any English to me. They're not telling me nothing. Sandeela's dead. Sandeela's dead."
Sandeela Kanwal was the 25-year-old daughter of Chaudry Rashid. Christian says when police arrived at the house, they found the 57-year-old pizza shop owner sitting cross-legged in his driveway, smoking a cigarette.

Honor Killings: A Global View

This map gives a birds eye view of the extent of the practice of "honor killing". It does however leave out Australia, Indonesia, Netherlands, Germany, France, Britain, the Baltic region and some others, all of which suffer incidents of "honor killing".

The commonality of course is Islam. Every country is either Muslim majority or has well established immigrant Muslim enclaves.

In other words, pretty much all over the world.

Honor Killings: A Global View

In the name of family honor, "women and young girls are set ablaze, strangled, shot at, clubbed, stabbed, tortured, axed, or stoned to death," a United Nations report (PDF) stated in 2004.

No one knows just how many people are murdered each year to restore family honor. The killings often go unreported, and even when a murder is reported, it can be difficult distinguishing between an "honor killing" and an incident of domestic violence.

The map below shows countries where honor killings have been reported. But given the challenge of recording these incidents, the map should not be considered exhaustive.

U.S. Army War College Publishes Apologia for Hamas

Terrorist apologists have now infiltrated the U.S. Army War College. The terrible thing about this is that the officers that will be exposed to this disinformation are required to act in accordance with it. In this essay, Steven Emerson exposes, point by point, the depths of the disinformation presented by Islamic "experts" AKA Islamic moles. The fact that they get away with it under the government's very nose is because many, if not most government and military officials are clueless about the scope of progress Islam has made in infiltrating Western institutions.

U.S. Army War College Publishes Apologia for Hamas

The U.S. Army War College Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) published a monograph last month by Sherifa Zuhur entitled, "Hamas and Israel: Conflicting Strategies of Group-Based Politics," a fairly bland heading that only hints at its deeply disturbing content. This monograph is more accurately described as an apologia for Hamas, a violent Islamist organization dedicated to jihad and the destruction of the State of Israel. Hamas was first designated by the United States (U.S.) government as a terrorist organization in 1995 by a presidential executive order and then again as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) in 1997. Hamas has remained on the FTO list ever since. The essay also consistently demonizes Israel and its legitimate defense of national sovereignty under international law.

The U.S. Army War College is an official educational facility of the Department of Defense, and is accredited by the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. The mission of the Carlisle, Pennsylvania-based War College is to prepare its students for strategic leadership positions in the U.S. military and senior levels of civilian policymaking. American taxpayers fund the War College and its Strategic Studies Institute.

According to the monograph's forward (written by SSI Director Douglas C. Lovelace, Jr.), "Hamas and Israel" provides "an orientation to HAMAS and its base" that demonstrates how "efforts ... to separate HAMAS from its popular support and network of social and charitable organizations ... have not been effective in destroying the organization, nor in eradicating the will to resist among a fairly large segment of the Palestinian population."[1] The pronounced bias in support of Hamas and against the State of Israel that suffuses this monograph shows in the absence of any explanation for why Hamas would continue to be engaged in resistance of any sort through the end of 2008, much less incessant rocket attacks aimed at Israeli civilian population centers, more than three years after Israel withdrew completely from Gaza. Instead, key recommendations include the need for "Israel and the United States ... to abandon their policies of non-negotiation and non-communication with HAMAS."[2] Additionally, according to Zuhur, Israel needs to "abandon the aspects of its new defensive strategy which are calculated to thwart peace efforts,"[3] by "[d]ismantling the settlements in the West Bank"[4] and recognizing what Zuhur calls "Hamas' political and strategic development"[5] instead of villainizing the group. She claims that "Israel could not tolerate Palestinian Arabs' resistance of their [sic] authority on the legal basis of denial of self-determination"[6] and slips in a stab at what she terms "Israel's rejection of all comprehensive peace offers by the Arabs."[7] Statements like these betray the actual purpose of this monograph: to criticize Israel for exercising its sovereign right to self-defense while giving Hamas a free pass for terrorist assaults that deliberately target Israel's civilian population. It should be noted that this monograph was published the very week that Israel launched Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip on 27 December 2008.

‘Continuously high’ wave of arrests increases; whereabouts, charges unknown.
LOS ANGELES, January 23 (Compass Direct News) – Three Christians from two different families were arrested from their homes Wednesday morning (Jan. 21) and are being held without charges, sources told Compass. Authorities took Jamal Ghalishorani, 49, and his wife Nadereh Jamali from their home in Tehran between 7 and 8 a.m., about a half hour after arresting Hamik Khachikian, an Armenian Christian also living in Tehran. Ghalishorani and his wife are Christian converts from Islam, considered “apostasy” in Iran and potentially punishable by death. The three arrested Christians belong to house churches, source said, and they hold jobs and are not supported as clergy. The arrests come as part of a tsunami of arrests in the past several months, sources said. Arrests and pressure on Christians from authorities have ramped up even further in the past few months, the source said, adding that the reasons were unclear. Another source, however, said the arrests are part of a concerted, nationwide government plan against non-Islamic faiths. “We are quite sure that these arrests are part of a bigger operation from the government,” the source said. “Maybe up to 50 people were arrested. In Tehran alone already some 10 people were arrested – all on the same day, January 21.”

AP IMPACT: Freedom looms for terrorist

Al-Jawary is in federal custody, convicted of building a trio of powerful bombs that were part of a 1973 plot to destroy Israeli targets in New York. Al-Jawary's bombs never detonated and he wasn't brought to justice until two decades later after fleeing the country. On Feb. 19, Al-Jawary, 63, will be released.

This item illustrates the history of a Muslim terrorist who attempted terrorists attacks in America in the 70's and his involvment in other plots around the world. It follows his comings and goings throughout the world, his contacts and his involvement in many Islamic terrorist plots. He was eventually incarcerated in America for a 30 year term.

He is now about to be released from federal prison and will undoubtedly return to killing in the name of Allah.

As we have seen recently, many released Gitmo terrorists have been killed or recaptured after returning to fight the Great Jihad against the West. So far, our elected officials have failed to realize that Muslim fanatics cannot be reformed and will continue to kill Westerners till their last breath. They need to be held in isolation to prevent them from recruiting other prisoners into Islam and inciting them to terrorism. Bottom line, Muslim terrorists, once incarcerated should never see the light of day for the remainder of their miserable lives.

NEW YORK – In 1973, a young terrorist named Khalid Duhham Al-Jawary entered the United States and quickly began plotting an audacious attack in New York City.
He built three powerful bombs — bombs powerful enough to kill, maim and destroy — and put them in rental cars scattered around town, near Israeli targets.
The plot failed. The explosive devices did not detonate, and Al-Jawary fled the country, escaping prosecution for nearly two decades — until he was convicted of terrorism charges in Brooklyn and sentenced to 30 years in federal penitentiary.

But his time is up.

In less than a month, the 63-year-old Al-Jawary is expected to be released. He will likely be deported; where to is anybody's guess. The shadowy figure had so many aliases it's almost impossible to know which country is his true homeland.
Al-Jawary has never admitted his dark past or offered up tidbits in exchange for his release. Much of Al-Jawary's life remains a mystery — even to the dogged FBI case agent who tracked him down.

But an Associated Press investigation — based on recently declassified documents, extensive court records, CIA investigative notes and interviews with former intelligence officials — reveals publicly for the first time Al-Jawary's deep involvement in terrorism beyond the plot that led to his conviction.
Government documents link Al-Jawary to Black September's murderous letter-bombing campaign targeting world leaders in the 1970s and a botched terrorist attack in 1979. Former intelligence officials suspect he had a role in the bombing of a TWA flight in 1974 that killed 88 people.

"He's a very dangerous man," said Mike Finnegan, the former FBI counterterrorism agent who captured Al-Jawary. "A very bad guy."

Just for knowing, Lord Nazi killed an innocent man by driving carelessly (texting at speed on a motorway). Why hasn't he been sentenced? In December 2008, Lord Nazi pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous driving, which carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison. Instead of rotting in prison as he should be, he is tearing down the very fabric of free civilization. Worse still , the British dhimmis are caving to his demands.

Lord Nazir is (in)famous for his claim right after 911 that his phone was tapped but the British government because he was against going into Afghanistan to rid that country of the Taliban and their terror training camps.

Lord Nazi strongly backs the jihad and "the right of determination of the people of Kashmir". Earlier in 2001 the Indian Overseas Congress accused him of trying to incite unrest among British Muslims when he backed a plan for a "peace bus" to publicise the issues behind the conflict in India-administered Kashmir.

Lord Ahmed also called for an investigation into the alleged recruitment of British Muslims to fight in so-called "holy wars". He argued the facts behind such claims had to be established for the "British Muslims' sakes". That illustrated his concern that whole communities were wrongly being blamed for being part of jihad activity. Such fears over damaging labels were displayed too when he led calls for a new law against religious discrimination in 1999. The bugging claims are, therefore, only the latest example of Lord Ahmed hitting the political limelight. (more here)
