Well, now the Federal government is working for the Islamic street by bringing suit against the JBS Swift meatpacking company.  But that's no surprise in the Obama administration.

OMAHA — Federal officials say a JBS Swift & Co. meatpacking plant should give Muslim employees prayer time and not retaliate against workers who ask to pray.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit Monday on behalf of more than 80 Somali Muslims.

A message left at JBS Swift's U.S. headquarters in Greeley wasn't immediately returned.

Hundreds of Muslim workers walked off the job at the Grand Island, Neb., plant during Ramadan in 2008, saying they needed time to pray at sunset and break a day-long fast. Management adjusted the work schedule the next day.

Non-Muslims protested and the accommodations ended. The company fired 86 Muslims for walking off the job and said the firings weren't about religion.

/AKI) The argument over an Arab militant's widow last weekend became so heated that gunfire broke out among insurgent factions, leaving eight people dead, militant sources told AKI from the Pakistan's North Waziristan.

The dead include Usman Punjabi, the abductor of British journalist Asad Qureshi.

Tension mounted between the Punjabi (non-Pushtun Pakistanis) and Mehsud (local tribe) militants after an Arab militant was killed in a drone strike, leaving behind his widow.

'The widow was rich and after the incident of husband's death she was alone. The local Mehsud tribesmen took her into their custody and were aiming to arrange her marriage to one of their own men. Usman Punjabi objected and insisted she must be left to her own free will to select whether she wants to marry into the Mehsud tribe,' said a source who witnessed the event.

After the Muslim Ramadan breakfast Saturday morning, all militants belonging to Mehsud tribes and the Punjabi camp gathered in a local school in Dande Darpa Khail in North Waziristan near Afghanistan to discuss the widow.

The argument between the two parties intensified until both parties pulled out their guns and opened fire. A total eight people were killed, including Usman Punjabi.

'We have killed the spy', Mehsud's members cried after killing Usman Punjabi.

Usman Punjabi was the abductor and assassin of former ISI official Khalid Khawaja and also abducted former ISI official Colonel Imam and British journalist Asad Qureshi.

Usman refused to release those he abducted despite the instruction of Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar. The fate of abducted is still unknown.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf claims that the U.S. Constitution is Shariah compliant. Let us examine below a few laws of Shariah to see if Imam Rauf is truthful or a fraud:

   1. Jihad, defined as "to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion," is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim head of state (caliph). Muslim caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Shariah and unfit to rule.

   2. A caliph can hold office through seizure of power, meaning through force.

   3. A caliph is exempt from being charged with serious crimes such as murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking and in some cases of rape.

   4. A percentage of Zakat (charity money) must go toward jihad.

   5. It is obligatory to obey the commands of the Caliph, even if he is unjust.

   6. A caliph must be a Muslim, a non-slave and a male.

   7. The Muslim public must remove the caliph if he rejects Islam.

   8. A Muslim who leaves Islam must be killed immediately.

   9. A Muslim will be forgiven for murder of: 1) an apostate, 2) an adulterer, and 3) a highway robber – making vigilante street justice and honor killing acceptable.

  10. A Muslim will not get the death penalty if he kills a non-Muslim but will get it for killing a Muslim.

  11. Shariah never abolished slavery or sexual slavery and highly regulates it. A master will not be punished for killing his slave.

  12. Shariah dictates death by stoning, beheading, amputation of limbs, flogging – even for crimes of sin such as adultery.

  13. Non-Muslims are not equal to Muslims under the law. They must comply with Islamic law if they are to remain safe. They are forbidden to marry Muslim women, publicly display wine or pork, recite their Scriptures or openly celebrate their religious holidays or funerals. They are forbidden from building new churches or building them higher than mosques. They may not enter a mosque without permission. A non-Muslim is no longer protected if he leads a Muslim away from Islam.

  14. It is a crime for a non-Muslim to sell weapons to someone who will use them against Muslims. Non-Muslims cannot curse a Muslim, say anything derogatory about Allah, the Prophet, or Islam, or expose the weak points of Muslims. But the same does not apply to Muslims.

  15. A non-Muslim cannot inherit from a Muslim.

  16. Banks must be Shariah compliant, and interest is not allowed.

  17. No testimony in court is acceptable from people of low-level jobs, such as street sweepers or bathhouse attendants. Women in low-level jobs such as professional funeral mourners cannot keep custody of their children in case of divorce.

  18. A non-Muslim cannot rule even over a non-Muslim minority.

  19. Homosexuality is punishable by death.

  20. There is no age limit for marriage of girls. The marriage contract can take place any time after birth and consummated at age 8 or 9.

  21. Rebelliousness on the part of the wife nullifies the husband's obligation to support her, and gives him permission to beat her and keep her from leaving the home.

  22. Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and is as easy as saying, "I divorce you," and becomes effective even if the husband did not intend it.

  23. There is no community property between husband and wife, and the husband's property does not automatically go to the wife after his death.

  24. A woman inherits half what a man inherits.

  25. A man has the right to have up to four wives, and she has no right to divorce him even if he is polygamous.

  26. The dowry is given in exchange for the woman's sexual organs.

  27. A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married, her marriage is annulled.

  28. The testimony of a woman in court is half the value of a man.

  29. A woman loses custody if she remarries.

  30. To prove rape, a woman must have four male witnesses.
                
  31. A rapist may only be required to pay the bride-money (dowry) without marrying the rape victim.

  32. A Muslim woman must cover every inch of her body, which is considered "Awrah," a sexual organ. Not all Shariah schools allow the face of a woman exposed.

  33. A Muslim man is forgiven if he kills his wife at the time he caught her in the act of adultery. However, the opposite is not true for women since he "could be married to the woman he was caught with."

  34. It is obligatory for a Muslim to lie if the purpose is obligatory. That means that for the sake of abiding with Islam's commandments, such as jihad, a Muslim is obliged to lie and should not have any feelings of guilt or shame associated with this kind of lying.

The above are clear-cut laws in Islam decided by great imams after years of examination and interpretation of the Quran, Hadith and Muhammad's life. Now let the learned Imam Rauf tell us what part of the above is compliant with the U.S. Constitution.

Muslim inmates 'turning to terror' as think tank says convicted terrorists are radicalising fellow inmates

This little article inadvertently points out just why Muslim terrorists must be segregated from the normal prison population.  Muslim terrorists are committed to imposing Sharia law on all of humanity, either as members of a society, Western or Muslim, or they are incarcerated.  They actively recruit new terrorists and seek funding from sympathetic "moderate" Muslims to further their Jihad. 

It has become obvious that Muslim terrorists have no time limit on their desire to overthrow Western society and will return to the Jihad every time they are released from prison.  Given their refusal to cease Jihad, they must be incarcerated for the rest of their lives to preclude them from committing more terrorist acts and recruiting more terrorists.

Britain faces a new wave of terror attacks launched by Muslims radicalised in prison, a respected think tank warns today.

The Royal United Services Institute says convicted terrorists inside high security prisons may have turned one in ten Muslim inmates to their cause.

As a result, the threat from jihadists born in this country is greater here than anywhere else in the Western world, including the U.S., the report states.

Germany to bring in Turkish police to combat crime in ethnic community

Another extremely bad move by a Western country trying to deal with Muslim "no go zones".  Germany has basically admitted that it's police force is not adequate to deal with Turkish Muslims.  Or put another way, the Muslim population has successfully defied German law.  For Germany to import Turkish police to patrol Muslim areas will lead to even more separation and failure to integrate into greater German society.  The Turkish police will certainly bring all their "old country" corruption and also side with fellow Turkish Muslims against Germany.

Turkish immigrants in Germany are often criticized for failing to fit into the society of the new home which has led to a high crime rate. Consequently, authorities plan to bring in Turkish police to combat the problem.

In a new plan, Turkish police will help their German counterparts deal with troublesome neighborhoods – a scheme which has already faced criticism.

Local resident of old German city Cologne, Krystal Tank feels like a stranger in her own country. Every day she enjoys the summer parks and life in the Cologne suburb when off work, but she feels totally outnumbered.

“It all happened very silently,” she recalls. “The German population moved away, their children were taken out of the schools, and suddenly there were only Turks here,” Krystal Tank told RT.

I was "one incident too early." On November 5, 2009, I wrote this for JWR's "sister site", Political Mavens: 

    "Barack Obama's presidency is effectively over. Strong words? Ask yourself this: what other president of the United States would have spent almost three minutes speaking at the Dept. of Interior before getting around to mentioning the fact that twelve soldiers had been killed, and thirty one wounded in a massacre at Fort Hood in Texas?"

Alas, most Americans let this travesty slide down the memory hole. Thankfully, like he has with so many other unpopular positions, Barack Hussein Obama has "doubled down:" his support of the Ground Zero mosque is game, set, match.

As I wrote in my previous column, the true intentions of the mosque builders were revealed when they turned down NY Governor David Patterson's offer of state land in return for re-locating the mosque away from Ground Zero. They refused. That this "factoid" was seemingly irrelevant to the president speaks volumes.

It is worth remembering this is the same president who belittled ordinary Americans for "clinging" to religion. I guess Muslims "clinging" to a location that infuriates the overwhelming majority of Americans is perfectly fine, even after it's been revealed for the rankly provocative plan it truly is.

Ordinary Americans? They recognize a self-aggrandizing, holier-than-thou phony when they see one. They aren't fooled by a president who says that, "Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground"--only seconds before he reveals the total hollowness of that statement by saying he's fine with a mosque on top of it.

This report from the BBC’s ‘From our Own Correspondent’ series, looks at the Swedish Government’s recent deportation of Iraqis from Sweden. What seems unusual about the current wave of deportations is the the subjects are Assyrian Christians, possibly the most endangered Iraqis of all:  Although Sweden once led the way in welcoming Iraqi refugees, the authorities are now clamping down and Iraqi asylum seekers are increasingly faced with deportation.

Jakob’s family have been threatened with death in Iraq unless they convert.I have just spent a week meeting some very angry, very frightened people.

Lilian, for example, who cleans a house in Sodertalje. And George, who does odd jobs and shares a basement room in Gothenburg. And Jakob who is 20 and goes to high school in Gustavsberg outside Stockholm.

They did not want to tell me their real names for fear of being identified, both in Sweden and at home, because they are all Christians from Iraq who went to Sweden to seek asylum and they have all had their asylum requests turned down.

This they find hard to understand. I have seen the court judgement that confirmed Jakob’s refusal.
It cites several threats made against him and his family in Iraq, in which they are told to convert to Islam or be killed.

One of these threats was delivered by eight masked men armed with pistols who broke into their flat in Baghdad early one morning. They all tell similar stories of kidnap and ransom, of churches being bombed, of death threats.
Appeal.

In the last two years, Sweden has deported more than 500 Iraqis. And they are baffled by the attitude of the Swedish authorities. There are no human rights in Sweden, they say, even animals are treated better here. Unfair as that may be, it is a line I hear more than once.

I am taken to meet Lilian by Nuri Kino, a journalist who has devoted a lot of time to the plight of Iraqi asylum seekers in Sweden. On the motorway down to Sodertalje, he tells me he has been on the phone to Lilian’s lawyer that morning and she has just been told that Lilian’s appeal has been rejected. The lawyer, he says, does not dare tell her yet – and he is not going to either.

Both hands come off the steering wheel as he gesticulates furiously.

The town has a large community of Assyrian Christians. They have come from Turkey and Lebanon, Iraq and Syria.
Nuri himself is one. He was born in Turkey and came to Sweden during the Cyprus crisis of 1974.

A controversial Christian cleric with a $60-million bounty on his head is in Vancouver.

Sources have told The Province that Father Zakaria Botros, a retired Coptic priest from Egypt, arrived at Vancouver International Airport Wednesday afternoon to little public fanfare -- but an RCMP presence.

Although he lives in exile in the U.S., Botros is little known in the West.

But he is the target of a fatwa and has been named Islam's "public enemy No. 1" by an Arabic newspaper for his fiery critiques of Islam, the Koran and the prophet Muhammad in a television show broadcast weekly on the Arabic-Christian channel al- Hayat or The Life.

Up to 60 million viewers in the Arab world -- as well as in Europe, Australia and North America -- tune in to Botros's show, Truth Talk, to listen to the outspoken cleric preach the gospel, according to World Magazine, which awarded Botros with the Daniel of the Year award in 2008.

His sermons are reportedly causing mass conversions of Muslims to the Christian faith.

Botros is in town for "The Unveiling," a three-day gathering of spiritual leaders, including Jewish and Arab leaders, to discuss God's divine purpose in the Middle East.

The seminar, which runs from Thursday to Saturday, is held at Trinity Western University in Langley and organized by a group called Watchmen for the Nations.

In a video segment of his show, Botros said he was exiled from his home of Egypt for sharing the gospel.

"For this I have been named Islam's public enemy No. 1. For this, there is now a price on my head," he told his audience.

"But I love Jesus more than my life and because Jesus loves Muslims, because he came and laid down his life for them, I love them, too, and I am willing to lay my life down, if this is the way to reach them for my beloved Jesus."

Despite his confrontational style, Botros told World Magazine in 2008 that "I am not against Muslims, although I am against Islam as a false religion. I don't want to disgrace Muslims, but to expose Islam."

Botros's statements and his appeal among some Muslim followers have ignited the anger of jihadists.

Al-Qaida has declared him an infidel and put a $60-million price on his head. In comparison, the reward placed on Osama bin Laden's head by the U.S. government is $25 million.

RCMP spokesman Sgt. Rob Vermuelen said Botros's arrival was on the Mounties' radar but he declined to comment further.

Trinity Western University Prof. Paul Rowe said Botros is "extremely popular in the Middle East because he takes a no-holds-barred approach to challenging Islam."

"He'll challenge Muslims on their own text. He knows the Koran and the Hadith [narratives on Muhammad's sayings and actions] really well and he is able to deal with Islam on its own merits."

It is “financial jihad,” explained Yusuf Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s sharia compass — and the man Feisal Rauf, the brains behind the proposed Ground Zero mosque, admires as “the most well-known legal authority in the whole Muslim world today.” It was 2002 and Qaradawi, who endorses suicide bombing and the targeting of American personnel operating in Islamic countries, was giving a lecture on the need to use the international financial system to support Islamist goals — like Hamas’s war to destroy Israel.

The financial jihad has now achieved its greatest coup so far: It has co-opted the U.S. government as a partner. In fact, if you would like to see a contributor to the jihad, have a look in the mirror. Thanks to the Obama administration, every one of us is complicit. The bailout bonanza made each of us an owner of American Insurance Group (AIG). Under the stewardship of its real CEO, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, AIG proudly runs the world’s most lavishly funded sharia-compliant insurance business — and it is desperately trying to convince a federal court in Michigan that no one should have a problem with that.

President-elect Barack Obama's victory is headline news in papers Abdul Raheem is selling Nov. 5 in Islamabad.

President Obama says Islam has always been part of America, which raises the question, does the president know something about American history that we don't?

It has become customary for presidents to offer greetings to various religious communities on the occasion of their most holy days. Presidents Ford and Carter both issued Ramadan messages, as did Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush. The Ramadan greeting became intensely political during Mr. Bush's tenure because he was seeking to dispel the charge that the war on terrorism was a crusade against Islam. But Mr. Obama has used the occasion of Ramadan to rewrite U.S. history and give Islam a prominence in American annals that it has not earned.

In this year's greeting, Mr. Obama said the rituals of Ramadan "remind us of the principles that we hold in common and Islam's role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings. Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality. And here in the United States, Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country."

That Islam has had a major role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings may come as a surprise to Muslim women. Young Afghan girls who are having acid thrown in their faces on the way to school might want to offer their perspectives. That Islam is "known" for diversity and racial equality is also a bit of a reach. This certainly does not refer to religious diversity, which is nonexistent in many Muslim-majority states. This is a plaudit better reserved for a speech at the opening of a synagogue in Mecca.

Most puzzling is the president's claim that "Islam has always been part of America." Islam had no influence on the origins and development of the United States. It contributed nothing to early American political culture, art, literature, music or any other aspect of the early nation.

Throughout most of American history, the Muslim world was perceived as remote, alien and belligerent. Perhaps the president was thinking about the Barbary Pirates and their role in the founding of the U.S. Navy, or Andrew Jackson's dispatch of frigates against Muslim pirates in Sumatra in the 1830s. Maybe he was recalling Rutherford B. Hayes' 1880 statement regarding Morocco on "the necessity, in accordance with the humane and enlightened spirit of the age, of putting an end to the persecutions, which have been so prevalent in that country, of persons of a faith other than the Moslem, and especially of the Hebrew residents of Morocco." Or Grover Cleveland's 1896 comment on the continuing massacre of Armenian Christians: "We have been afflicted by continued and not infrequent reports of the wanton destruction of homes and the bloody butchery of men, women and children, made martyrs to their profession of Christian faith. ... It so mars the humane and enlightened civilization that belongs to the close of the nineteenth century that it seems hardly possible that the earnest demand of good people throughout the Christian world for its corrective treatment will remain unanswered."

It also is customary in the United States to search for obscure contributions made by in-vogue minority groups as a feel-good way of promoting inclusion. One of the earliest Muslims to come to the United States was a 17th-century Egyptian named Norsereddin, who settled in the Catskills and was described by one chronicler as "haughty, morose, unprincipled, cruel and dissipated." Spurned by the princess of an Indian tribe that had befriended him, he managed through a subterfuge to poison her. He was later run down by the betrayed Indians, who burned him alive. It is not the kind of tale that makes it into politically correct history books.

Obama came out for the Islamic supremacist mosque at the hallowed ground of 911 attack. He has, in effect, sided with the Islamic jihadists and told the ummah (at an Iftar dinner on the third night of Ramadan, of course) that he believes in and supports a triumphal mosque on the cherished site of Islamic conquest.

If you had any doubt who Obama stood with on 911, there can be no doubt in our minds now.

I believe he planned it all along. He waited until Ramadan. Symbolic. He has now turned our Ground Zero protest on 911 into a mega-event. The very idea of a 15-story mega-mosque on hallowed ground in indecent, offensive and outrageous. If Imam Rauf and his wife Daisy really wanted to "reach out" and "heal," they would give the $120 million to the first responders suffering from exposure to the toxic environment at Ground Zero after Muslim terrorists brought down the World Trade Center and slaughtered 3,000 Americans.

Obama knows this is not about religious liberty. No one has suggested abridging the first amendment to stop the mosque. This is not a religious issue. This is a national security issue.

Disguised as religion, Islam has penetrated democracies with the aim of replacing civility and liberty with the barbarism of 7th century Islamic theocracy and Sharia law. Islam’s multi-pronged attack aims to destroy all that liberty offers.

America, with a long tradition of protecting religious freedom, still clings to the “hands off” practice of leaving alone any doctrine or practice billed as religion. A thorny problem is in deciding what constitutes a religion and who is to make that call. We must keep in mind that to be a loyal and faithful Muslim, a Muslim must adhere to and perform many obligatory acts, as specified in the Quran by Allah and the Hadith/Sunna, during his entire life.

The mosque serves as a house where Muslim devotees gather together for salat (prayer) and worshiping Allah and his messenger, the prophet Muhammad.  Aside from worshiping Allah, a mosque is used for a variety of reasons. These meeting places are perfect warehouses of not only indoctrination, but future terrorists, who are made to read and understand the principles of Jihad, martyrdom and Dar ul Harb (“land of war”—any place not Islamacized.) Mosques cost money, and the money for these warehouses of intolerance is coming straight from Saudi Arabia, the number one terrorist state in the world.

These mosques are being infused with an activist strain of Islam, Wahhabism.  If you have to ask where the Saudi’s are getting their money, you are not paying attention...it's coming from you. Not to mention, the current U.S. administration in its continuous war against the American people, is doing everything it can to accommodate the “Cordoba Initiative”  project at taxpayers’ expense “that is spearheading plans to build a $100 million Islamic center at Ground Zero, the site where nearly 3,000 Americans were killed by jihadists on 9/11.”  The recent CNN Poll shows 68% of American voters oppose the Ground Zero Mosque.

Those useful idiot non-Muslims who support the building of the mosque near the 9/11 site or anywhere else by invoking the ideal of religious freedom, are empowering a creed that is devoted to stamping out freedom of religion or any other form of freedom.

(ANSAmed) - SYDNEY, AUGUST 11 - The Arab world has launched a ''seduction offensive'' in the South Pacific, where most of the region's 14 archipelago-states traditionally support Israel within the United Nations and other international bodies, hindering the votes of much more populous nations. The daily paper The Australian has today reported on the Arab League's decision to send an official delegation to the Pacific and to open its own office in the region. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have created a 38-million-euro development fund for the islands and will be the location of the headquarters of the new Arab-Pacific Cooperation Forum.

The paper reported that the plan had been outlined at the summit of the two regions in June in Abu Dhabi, where the 14 states were represented by heads of government or Ministers for Foreign Affairs, preceded by a visit to the region by the UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In a document released at the end of the summit, the Pacific states ''note the concern on the part of Arab states over the conflict in the Middle East, especially in Palestine, and the need to resolve disputes on the basis of UN Security Council resolutions and the principles of the Road Map, and recognise that the positions of Arab states are crucial for peace which is fair, comprehensive and permanent.'' SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County police said a man wearing a burqa robbed a bank in Silver Spring. Police said the man who robbed a TD Bank branch on Briggs Chaney Road about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday was wearing a "long black burqa over his face." He also wore jeans and tan boots.

Authorities said the man showed a gun and demanded money. He took an undetermined amount of money and fled.

Police said the man spoke with what they described as "a Middle Eastern accent." They say a silver car, possibly a Chevrolet, was seen leaving the scene.

The FBI also is helping with the investigation.

So, the Muslim investors championing the construction of the new mosque near Ground Zero claim it's all about strengthening the relationship between the Muslim and non-Muslim world.

As an American, I believe they have every right to build the mosque - after all, if they buy the land and they follow the law - who can stop them?

Which is, why, in the spirit of outreach, I've decided to do the same thing.

I'm announcing tonight, that I am planning to build and open the first gay bar that caters not only to the west, but also Islamic gay men. To best express my sincere desire for dialogue, the bar will be situated next to the mosque Park51, in an available commercial space.

This is not a joke. I've already spoken to a number of investors, who have pledged their support in this bipartisan bid for understanding and tolerance.

As you know, the Muslim faith doesn't look kindly upon homosexuality, which is why I'm building this bar. It is an effort to break down barriers and reduce deadly homophobia in the Islamic world.

The goal, however, is not simply to open a typical gay bar, but one friendly to men of Islamic faith. An entire floor, for example, will feature non-alcoholic drinks, since booze is forbidden by the faith. The bar will be open all day and night, to accommodate men who would rather keep their sexuality under wraps - but still want to dance.

Bottom line: I hope that the mosque owners will be as open to the bar, as I am to the new mosque. After all, the belief driving them to open up their center near Ground Zero, is no different than mine.

My place, however, will have better music.

The State Department is sending Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf - the mastermind of the Ground Zero Mosque - on a trip through the Middle East to foster "greater understanding" about Islam and Muslim communities in the United States. However, important questions are being raised about whether this is simply a taxpayer-funded fundraising jaunt to underwrite his reviled project, which is moving ahead in Lower Manhattan.

Mr. Rauf is scheduled to go to Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar, the usual stops for Gulf-based fundraising. The State Department defends the five-country tour saying that Mr. Rauf is "a distinguished Muslim cleric," but surely the government could find another such figure in the United States who is not seeking millions of dollars to fund a construction project that has so strongly divided America.

By funding the trip so soon after New York City's Landmarks Preservation Commission gave the go-ahead to demolish the building on the proposed mosque site, the State Department is creating the appearance that the U.S. government is facilitating the construction of this shameful structure. It gives Mr. Rauf not only access but imprimatur to gather up foreign cash. And because Mr. Rauf has refused to reveal how he plans to finance his costly venture, the American public is left with the impression it will be a wholly foreign enterprise. This contradicts the argument that a mosque is needed in that part of New York City to provide services for a burgeoning Muslim population. If so many people need the mosque so badly, presumably they could figure out a way to pay for it themselves.

Classes commence at America’s first Islamic college on August 24.

Zaytuna College, which has attracted applications from Muslims throughout the world and substantial financial support from Saudi Arabia, is located in Berkley, California.

With the motto “Where Islam Meets America,” Zaytuna upholds the goal of cultivating Islamic scholars.

What kind of Islamic scholars?

The examples have been set by the three Islamic radicals, who serve as founders of the college.

Sheikh Hamza Yusuz, one of the founders, was born in Washington state and raised in northern California as Mark Hanson, became he converted to Islam in 1977. Writing to an Islamic group, Sheikh Yusuz said:

“America is a country that has little to be proud of in its past and less to be proud of in the present.  I am a citizen of this country not by choice but by birth.  I reside in this country not by choice but by conviction in attempting to spread the message of Islam in this country.  I became Muslim in part because I did not believe in the false gods of this society whether we call them Jesus or democracy or the Bill of Rights or any other element of this society that is held sacrosanct by the ill-informed peoples that make up this charade of a society… [F]undamentals of Islam are being compromised… [C]onvention resolutions are meaningless Masonic exersises (sic) devised by men who desire to engage people in forums that would insure nothing changes… [T]here should be no voting or debate… [W]e have no room for ayes or nays.”

Imam Zaid Shakir, another founder, serves as an advisor for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and is a frequent speaker at CAIR gatherings. On one occasion, Imam Shakir ruled that Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes carrying the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. "Jihad,” he said, “is physically fighting the enemies of Islam to protect and advance the religion of Islam. This is jihad." He added that acceptable targets of jihad are U.S. military aircraft.

Hatem Bazian, the third founder of the new college, holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the University of California. He is an ardent supporter of intifada (the militant uprising of Muslims) not only in Palestinian territory (in which he was born) but also throughout the United States. He addressed a cheering crowd of fellow jihadists by saying:

“Well, we've been watching intifada in Palestine, we've been watching an uprising in Iraq, and the question is that what are we doing? How come we don't have an intifada in this country? Because it seem[s] to me, that we are comfortable in where we are, watching CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox, and all these mainstream... giving us a window to the world while the world is being managed from Washington, from New York, from every other place in here in San Francisco: Chevron, Bechtel, [Carlyle?] Group, Halliburton; every one of those lying, cheating, stealing, deceiving individuals are in our country and we're sitting here and watching the world pass by, people being bombed, and it's about time that we have an intifada in this country that change[s] fundamentally the political dynamics in here. And we know every-- They're gonna say some Palestinian being too radical -- well, you haven't seen radicalism yet!"

The incoming students at Zaytuna College must pass a proficiency exam - - not in English - - but Arabic. Those who fail must enroll in the school’s “Arabic Intensive Program.”

The courses at the college consist of Islamic History, Islamic Theology, Arabic, Islamic Law, economics, and composition. No classes are offered in English/American Literature, U.S. History, European History, foreign languages (other than Arabic), chemistry, biology, physics, psychology, philosophy, earth science, sociology, anthropology, or mathematics.

At the completion of their Islamic training, students, who specialize in Islamic theology, must pass an exit exam in tajwid - - the proper recitation of the Koran.

The founders of the school have applied for accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. As soon as the accreditation is approved, students at Zaytuna will be eligible for federal and state aid.

Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, says the new college is unfortunately symptomatic of a nation drowning in political correctness.

"And it [political correctness] will kill America," Ms. Markell maintains.

She adds: "As long as the left controls all of the media -- except for Fox News and talk radio and some Internet sites -- this kind of evil will continue to prosper...particularly in light of this current pro-Islamic administration."

PARIS — Iran has sentenced seven leading members of its Bahai religious minority to 20-year jail terms, French and US members of the faith told AFP on Monday.

The United States and the European Union had criticised Iran's detention of the Bahai members, and their reported jailing will revive calls for Tehran's Islamic regime to respect religious freedom.

"On Sunday, authorities announced 20-year sentences orally to the defendants' lawyers," said Sophie Menard, spokeswoman for the Bahai community in France, adding that the group was awaiting confirmation of the terms.

"The lawyers have begun proceedings to seek an appeal, which ought to allow them access to the written judgements," she explained.

Iran arrested seven Bahai leaders in May 2008 and this year put them on trial on charges ranging from spying for foreigners, spreading corruption on Earth, undermining Islam and of cooperating with Israel.

All those accused denied the charges.

"If this news proves to be accurate, it represents a deeply shocking outcome to the case of these innocent and harmless people," declared Bani Dugal, who represents the Bahai faith in contacts with the United Nations, in a statement.

The statement identified the detainees as two women, Fariba Kamalabadi and Mahvash Sabet, and five men: Jamaloddin Khanjani, Afif Naeimi, Saeid Rezaie, Behrouz Tavakkoli and Vahid Tizfahm.

They "were all members of a national-level group that helped see to the minimum needs of Iran's 300,000-strong Bahai community, the country's largest non-Muslim religious minority," the statement said.

Islam doesn't just hijack planes, it hijacks the things that mean something to people. The great cities of the world are littered with relics of the Muslim occupation of their sacred places. Jerusalem, Delhi, Constantinople and Alexandria all testify to the Muslim predilection for taking over other people's sacred places, and turning them into mosques. It wasn't enough for Muslims to conquer Jerusalem and subjugate its inhabitants. No, they also had to take the holiest place in Judaism and build a mosque on top of it. Similarly it wasn't enough for them to conquer and rename Constantinople, they also had to turn the Hagia Sophia into a mosque. These are not exceptions to the rule. In Asia, the Middle East and Europe, there are numberless examples of the same thing.

To this day, Muslims continue seizing other people's places of worship and turning them into mosques. It's going on in Egypt today. It's going on in Yugoslavia where churches are being destroyed and turned into mosques, day by day. It's went on in Israel, in Joseph's Tomb, burial spot of the biblical Joseph, which was seized by Muslims in September of 2000, a year before 9/11.

Why do Muslims this? It's not just about seizing territory, though that is part of it. It's also about hijacking something more vital, identity. By Islamizing sacred sites, they also take control of other people's history and culture. As they have done throughout the world. Hijacking the Temple Mount, has allowed Muslims to claim Jerusalem as a holy city of theirs. Hijacking churches in Egypt and Yugoslavia, eliminates the religious history of non-Muslims from the area. Hijacking the Hagia Sophia, was part of the recreation of Constantinople, into Istanbul.

The common denominator is that Muslims do not just make war on lands or bodies-- but on memory itself. Their goal is to make people forget what came before their colonization. To distort the history and traditions that are meaningful to them, and replace them with a distorted Islamized version of history. The Muslim "tolerance" in Spain, the Palestinian Arab "refugees" and the Muslim "contributions" to science, are all examples of that revisionist history, in which oppression becomes tolerance, repression becomes knowledge, and the oppressors become the victims.

Ground Zero is not only the central point of the Muslim massacre of 3000 people. It is also the central point of the memory of that massacre. The area is the place where people come to remember what happened. To see, to hear and to pay tribute to the dead. Which is exactly why Muslims are determined to hijack it for their own purposes, with a highly visible mosque and their own 9/11 museum that will feature a radically altered version of history. What they are after is the equivalent of putting up a Holocaust Revisionism museum outside the Holocaust museum.

Arab League squeals as Israel removes fake Muslim graves

The Arab League at the weekend dramatically condemned Israel's "heinous crime" of removing a number of phony Muslim graves that had only recently been erected in a downtown Jerusalem park.

The eastern corner of Independence Park in downtown Jerusalem is indeed home to a small centuries-old Muslim graveyard. The graveyard is under the supervision of the same Islamic Trust (Waqf) that administers the Temple Mount.

Last week, an Arutz 7 radio reporter discovered that Waqf bulldozers and trucks operating at the site were not only refurbishing the old graves, but were actually erecting new graves in areas of the park not previously part of the cemetery.

Of course, no one was buried under the new graves, which were merely an attempt to extend Waqf control over the central Jerusalem park.

In response, the Jerusalem Municipality removed the phony graves, prompting Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Palestinian Affairs Mohamed Sobeih to lash out at the Jewish state in hopes of creating an international incident.

"The Arab League is closely following up this heinous crime," said Sobeih. "Israel is destroying the Muslims' graves when Arabs are restoring the Jewish ones everywhere in the world."

Another horror story from moderate, modern Islamic Indonesia.  These stories of Muslim violence against Christian and other minorities are happening on a daily basis.  The Indonesian government aids and abets the persecution of religious minorities so there is no recourse for them except to cease their worship or leave the country.

Denied the right to meet in church, Ethnic Christian Bataks are again subject to violence once. Police is accused of just looking on. Many women are attacked.

Jakarta (AsiaNews) – Hundreds of Muslim extremists and residents in Bekasi, 25 kilometres east of Jakarta, attacked dozens of members of a Protestant Church. A mob of about 800 angry Muslims stormed an open field in Ciketing Asem, Bekasi, Sunday morning, where Christians were holding Mass. After taking over the place, they roughly threw the Christians out.

Although present at the site, police just stood idly by, looking at what was happening, forming two lines to create a protective corridor that allowed the Christians to walk away. However, some of the latter were chased and beaten. “Several of them were wounded,” a churchgoer told AsiaNews. “Several of them were women”.

The attackers included members of radical groups like the Islamic Defender Front (FPI) and Islamic Community Forum (FUI).

Sahara Pangaribuan, an attorney that represents the Christian community, slammed police and the government for “not providing protection and security to the minority religious group”.

Bekasi’s Christian community belongs to the Batak Christian Protestant Church (Indon: Huria Batak Kristen Protestan). As the name indicates, members are ethnic Batak and their languages and customs are used during religious ceremonies.

This is the third time the FPI and the FUI disrupt an open-air religious ceremony held by the HKBP in Bekasi.

Tensions rose when the local authorities took away from the Church’s permit to use its church building, whilst allowing the community to use an open field for Sunday services.

Woman Publicly Executed by Taliban Was Pregnant

HERAT, Afghanistan — The Taliban publicly flogged and then executed a pregnant Afghan widow by firing three shots into her head for alleged adultery, police said on Monday.

Bibi Sanubar, 35, was kept in captivity for three days before she was shot dead in a public trial on Sunday by a local Taliban commander in the Qadis district of the rural western province Badghis.

The Taliban accused Sanubar of having an "illicit affair" that left her pregnant. She was first punished with 200 lashes in public before being shot, deputy provincial police chief Ghulam Mohammad Sayeedi told AFP.

"She was shot in the head in public while she was still pregnant," Sayeedi said.

Sayeedi said a local Taliban commander, Mohammad Yousuf, carried out the execution before the woman's body was dumped in an area under government control.

The execution is a grim reminder of the Taliban's harsh six-year rule, from 1996 to 2001 in Afghanistan. The radical Islamists staged public stonings or lashings of those found to have committed adultery or sex outside marriage.

The then-Taliban government would also chop off the hands and feet of those accused of theft and robbery.

But a Taliban spokesman denied Monday that the militia was responsible for Sanubar's death.

"We have not done anything like that in Badghis or any other province," said Qari Yosuf Ahmadi, calling the report "propaganda" by foreigners and the Western-backed Afghan government.

The Taliban is not a unified national movement and small groups operate shadow government structures autonomously in pockets of the insurgent south.

The man who allegedly had an affair with Sanubar was not punished.

Head of Badghis provincial council Mohammad Nasir Nazaari confirmed the execution and said the Qadis district was entirely under Taliban control.

The deputy head of the religious council for western Afghanistan, Mohammad Kabaabiani, said the execution ran counter to Islamic principles.

Head of the Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission in western Afghanistan, Abdul Qadir Rahimi, condemned the killing.

"Any such trial is unacceptable and is a violation of human rights. All trials must take place in an authorised court observing every single measure of justice," said Rahimi.

Since their ouster in 2001, the hardline Taliban militants have executed many people they accused of spying for foreign forces, including at least one woman who was shot dead in Kandahar.

The insurgents last year publicly executed a young couple accused of eloping in Nimroz province, by firing squad in front of a mosque.

One if not THE most despicable race hate crimes in Scotland/Britain was the horrific murder of 15 year old schoolboy, Kriss Donald - who was tortured and killed by muslim gang/men for no other reason than the young lad was white. A chilling development in Denmark illustrates just how ‘hate speech’ laws, which were introduced by deluded western liberals, are being used to stifle and criminalise the expression of legitimate opinion and essential debate -- the prerequisite of a liberal society. Lars Hedegaard is president of Denmark’s International Free Press Society, which is devoted to fighting to preserve freedom of expression -- particularly against the threat from radical Islam to shut it down on the spurious grounds of ‘Islamophobia’. The inevitable has now happened: as Nathaniel Sugarman writes at The Legal Project,
Hedegaard finds himself facing prosecution for ‘racism’ over remarks he has made about Islam.

    The basis for Hedegaard's prosecution was an interview from December 2009 in which he made controversial statements about Islam. These assertions included critiques of what Hedegaard saw as Islam's permissiveness regarding child abuse and bearing false witness, as well as Islam's general intolerance concerning apostacism and critical speech. Snaphanen, a Danish blog, published the original interview, and Hedegaard has since clarified some of his remarks.

    Hedegaard's statements earned him a hate speech charge under Danish law. While Denmark's constitution ostensibly protects freedom of expression and forbids censorship (see Section 77), the Criminal code provides that "expressing and spreading racial hatred" is a criminal offense punishable with up to two years imprisonment. (Article 266b).

It seems this is not the first such prosecution in Denmark:

    On June 16, 2010, the Danish parliament voted to strip a lawmaker of immunity so that he could face charges over anti-Muslim comments. The politician, Jesper Langballe, is a veteran member of the Danish People's Party (PPD) and a crucial ally of the center-right government. In January 2010, he penned a newspaper column discussing the status of women in Islam and the "Islamisation of Europe." Included was the statement that "Muslims kill their daughters over crimes of honour and turn a blind eye while they are raped by their uncles." He is currently awaiting trial for violating Article 266b—the same hate speech statute that will likely be applied to Hedegaard.

There is however a ray of light for Denmark: it seems that the Justice Minister is now considering amending the hate speech laws on the grounds that they could be misused to restrict free speech. If so, this would underscore Denmark's general reputation for robustness in defence of its core civilisational values. It's a reputation which has nevertheless taken a knock from its adoption of these illiberal hate crime laws in the first place -- but remember the heroic Jyllands-Posten, whose staff found themselves under a death sentence for publishing the Mohammed cartoons.

However, the possible amendment of Denmark's hate laws is scant consolation for other western countries, with the UN having decided to criminalise all criticism of sharia law, as reported here. Until and unless western liberals finally understand that radical Islamists are not a minority whose human rights need to be defended but are instead a mortal threat to human rights which must be defeated -- and crucially, that the UN is the vehicle of Islamist oppression and must in turn be fought by all who care about human rights  -- the light of freedom will continue to be extinguished in the west.

Zanzibar is an Island off of Tanzania. About 97% of the Island's population are Muslim, the remaining 3% are a combination of Hindu and Christians.

Non Muslim houses of worship are strictly regulated on the Island and for a Church to be built, for example, special permission must be given.

Pastor Paulo Kamole Masegi of the Evangelistic Assemblies of God had purchased land in April 2007 for a church building in the city of Mwanyanya-Mtoni, and by November of that year he had built a house that served as a temporary worship center, he said. As the foundantion of the building was being built, Islamists demolish the foundation while the local police helped to cover it up.

    Masegi intended for the house to serve eventually as his family’s home within the church compound, but on Nov. 11, 2007, his congregation began to worship there. Soon area Muslim residents objected, saying they didn’t like seeing the church in the area, said Pastor Lucian Mgaywa of the Church of God in Tanzania.

    “This was the beginning of the church’s tribulations,” Pastor Mgaywa said

    In August 2009, local Muslims began to build a mosque just three feet away from the church plot, Pastor Mgaywa said. In November 2009, Pastor Masegi began building a permanent church structure. Angry Muslims invaded the compound and destroyed the structure’s foundation, the pastors said.

The more Muslims we allow to immigrate inth the US, the more terrorists we will have.  It's a sad but true fact that there is a large minority of Muslims who wish to impose Sharia law on all of humanity through violence.  There is a larger fraction of Muslims who wish to impose Sharia law through legal, political, economic and demographic Jihad.  All together, that adds up to a vast majority of Muslims who wish to do away with democracy and replace it with totalitarian Islam.  There are very few Muslims who, if put to the test, would deny that Islam should dominate all of humankind.

A series of arrests in the United States this week sheds light on a growing concern of law enforcement officials: Foreign terrorist organizations such as al-Shabab in Somalia are receiving assistance from U.S. citizens.

In some cases, those citizens are traveling abroad for terrorist training and are joining armed insurgencies. Experts say many of these citizens are ideal targets for terror recruitment.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested 26-year-old Shaker Masri in Chicago on Tuesday, only hours before he was scheduled to board a flight for Somalia. He had told an FBI informant that he planned to travel to Somalia or Afghanistan to join an armed insurgency.

One day after Masri's arrest, the FBI charged 14 naturalized U.S. citizens from Minnesota, California, and Alabama with providing material support to al-Shabab, a group the U.S. government has designated as a terrorist organization.

The U.S. Justice Department says two of the people indicted are already fighting for al-Shabab in Somalia, and that they appear in online videos for the group.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said these latest arrests signal a dangerous and growing trend in the United States.

"We are seeing an increasing number of individuals, including U.S. citizens, who have become captivated by extremist ideology and have taken steps to carry out terrorist objectives, either at home or abroad," he said.
Although recruiting home-grown terrorists is a recent development in the United States, other countries have been dealing with domestic terrorists for some time, says Thomas Mockaitis, a terrorism expert at DePaul University.

"It's not exactly as new as you might think," he said. "It's very similar to what happened in Britain in the 1980s and '90s."

During that time, many young men from Afghanistan and Pakistan living in Britain returned to fight the Soviet occupation in Afghanistan, Mockaitis says.

Now, he says, Somalia is the destination of choice for those seeking to carry out a holy war.

Five people - four men and one woman - have been caned in public in the Indonesian province of Aceh.

A couple were punished for adultery, the others for drinking alcohol and gambling.

Aceh implemented Sharia, or Islamic law, in 2002, as part of an autonomy deal offered by the Jakarta government.

Human rights groups have called for an end to flogging in Aceh, Indonesia's most conservative Muslim province, saying it amounts to torture.

Syamsuddin, Aceh's Islamic police spokesman, told the BBC that thousands of people came to watch.

He added that another man was also supposed to be punished, but had escaped from prison.

Adultery, drinking alcohol and gambling are amongt a list of prohibited activities in Aceh, which enforces strict Sharia law.

It was granted the right to enforce these laws as part of an autonomy plan offered by the Indonesian government.

When Sharia was first put into place in Aceh, it wasn't clear how strictly it would be enforced.

But in recent months there have been harsh new punishments announced for adultery and homosexuality.

A Sharia police unit has been set up to ensure everyone abides by the Islamic laws. They patrol the city streets in green uniforms - the colour of Islam.

Human rights groups say Aceh's government must immediately ban caning as a punishment for breaching Islamic law because, they say, it amounts to torture and is not internationally acceptable.

This is how Islam works in modern, moderate, progressive Malaysia.  Here is another example of Sharia law taking precedence over secular law in a dual system of law.  This particular example is convoluted and confusing, but the bottom line is that Sharia wins, freedom loses.

Those in the West who think that allowing Sharia to share power with secular law should heed the example of Malaysia being taken over by radical, fanatical Muslims.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — A Malaysian woman lost a court battle Wednesday to nullify her conversion to Islam when she was a child, but vowed to fight on to be recognized as a Hindu.

The interfaith dispute could further anger non-Muslims who have long complained that their religious rights are being sidelined in Muslim-majority Malaysia, and may erode minority support for the government.

Malaysia's secular High Court ruled it had no jurisdiction to hear the case as Banggarma Subramaniam is a Muslim and should refer to the Islamic Shariah court, said her lawyer Gooi Hsiao Leung.

Banggarma has said she and her three siblings were under the care of a government orphanage in northern Penang state when she was converted to Islam by welfare officials in 1989 when she was seven years old.

She ran away when she was 16 and got married two years later in 2001 in a traditional Hindu ceremony. When she returned to the home to collect her identity card and other documents, she was given the Muslim conversion certificate which listed her name as Siti Hasnah Vanga-rama Abdullah.

She has been unable to register her marriage or name her husband as the father of their two children in their birth certificates as she is listed a Muslim. Banggarma's husband must convert to Islam to legally wed her as marriage between Muslims and non-Muslims is not allowed in the country.

Banggarma said she was disappointed with the court ruling and planned to take the case to the Appeals Court.

"Why must I be forced to accept Islam?" Banggarma said. "I was born an Indian, a Hindu and I remain so until I die. They have no rights over me."
