Is Olmert a mole?

Is Olmert a mole? I ask because it's hard to imagine why the Prime Minister of Israel would suddenly decide to stop the attack on Hamas just when they are about to crush the terrorists. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory seems to be Olmert's specialty.

Now I suppose Condi will come riding in with more insane conditions what will only allow Hamas to regroup to start the whole attack on Israel again.

Really, I just don't understand. I don't understand why the current government has allowed Hamas to kill Israelis for the past three years without, until now, an effective attack on Hamas. I don't understand why the Israeli man in the street is not outside Olmert's offices demanding the total destruction of Hamas. I don't understand why the US insists on tying Israel's hands.

The ONLY way the Middle East will ever see stability (not peace) is for Israel to crush each and every attack against it. All the Arab street understands is raw power. Eventually, even the rabid Islamists in the area will tire of being overwhelmed by Israel and leave it alone.

With Obama about to enter the White House, Olmert is giving up his last realistic chance to decimate Hamas. Once Obama & Clinton are in, Israel will be reduced to a weak and vulnerable entity waiting for the final Islamic jihad to overwhelm it. Giving Hamas time to re-arm also gives Hezbollah time to do the same.

WHEN Hamas and Hezbollah attack at the same time, the future of Israel will be in jeopardy.

Without a viable, independent Israel, the Middle East will descend into a total Islamic hell hole. The defeat of Israel will signal Muslims the world over that the time has come for all out attacks against the West.

Israel: 150 Palestinian prisoners to be released soon

WTF is wrong with Ehud Olmert? Is he under control of the muslims? Is he so corrupt he's selling out the Jewish people? Is he so totally incompetent he can't see what he's doing? There's just no rational, positive explanation for his actions.

At this rate Capo Olmert will release every muslim terrorist in Israeli custody by the time he leaves office. Olmert is a traitor to Israel and to every Jew on the planet. The blood of every Jew killed by one of these animals will be on Olmert's head.

FROM ADNKRONOS.COM:

Israel: 150 Palestinian prisoners to be released soon

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has said he will resign after party primaries in September and allow the new leader to form a new coalition government.

Jerusalem, 6 August (AKI) - One hundred and fifty Palestinian prisoners will be released at the end of August as a sign of goodwill, said Israeli government spokesperson Mark Regev on Wednesday.

The announcement took place after President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met in Jerusalem for the first time since Olmert announced his intention to resign in September.

Both parties discussed how a change in Israeli leadership will affect peace talks. Negotiating teams from both sides attended the meeting.

There was no mention of which prisoners would be released. Earlier reports mentioned that Abbas would ask for the release of jailed Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti and Ahmed Saadat, secretary general of the military and political organisation, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Five Palestinian teenagers were released from Israeli prisons earlier on Wednesday as part of the prisoner exchange deal between Israel and the Shia militant group, Hezbollah.

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat also confirmed the news of the new prisoner release discussed at Wednesday's meeting.

Olmert said in late July that he would resign after party primaries are held on 17 September and allow the party leader to form a new coalition government.

According to experts, the two candidates with the best chance of winning the leadership race are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, and current Minister of Transportation Shaul Mofaz.

Top Palestinian Authority officials have said in the past few days that the election of Mofaz would be disastrous for the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.

However, experts have said that whoever wins the primaries will be unable to form a ruling coalition, opening the door for new elections early next year, thus leaving Olmert as caretaker prime minister.

Arab Leaders Celebrate Victory: 'Swap Teaches us to Kidnap More'

Samir Kuntar, convicted murderer and terrorist, freed by Olmert

Once again, muslims demonstrate just how degenerate and barbaric they really are. And once again, the Olmert government sells out Israel.

FROM ISRAELNATIONALNEWS.COM:

Arab Leaders Celebrate Victory: 'Swap Teaches us to Kidnap More'

by Ze'ev Ben-Yechielif

(IsraelNN.com) As Gaza children throw candy in the street and massive rallies gear up in Lebanon and Israel to celebrate the release of murderer Samir Kuntar and other terrorists, Arab leaders and terrorist groups around the Middle East are expressing their joy over what to them is a resounding victory over Israel and a lesson that kidnapping IDF soldiers works.
Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas praised the family of Kuntar, Hamas terrorist leader Ismail Haniyeh encouraged more kidnappings, and another Gaza terrorist openly expressed what many in Israel already fear: Kidnapping IDF soldiers has become the most effective way to release terrorists with blood on their hands.

Abbas congratulated the family of Samir Kuntar on his release Wednesday, and sent his condolences to the Lebanese families receiving their loved ones' bodies as part of the prisoner exchange with Hizbullah. He also sent his regards to the families of the other four terrorists released by Israel.

Olmert in Peaceland

A good analogy between Alice in Wonderland and Condi in Annapolis. I call it going down the rabbit hole without a prayer of coming back.
FROM JEWISHWORLDREVIEW.COM:
Olmert in Peaceland
By Michael Freund

The parallels between Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, and Condoleezza Rice's Olmert in Peaceland, are too frightening to ignore

Well, it has been quite a week for the peacemakers.

In the 72 hours prior to yesterday's Annapolis conference, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired six Kassam rockets and over a dozen mortar shells at Israeli towns and cities throughout the Negev.
Jerusalem was placed on high alert on Sunday, with roadblocks and checkpoints set up at the various entrances to the city, after intelligence reports indicated that two terrorists were on their way to the capital to carry out a mass attack.

And in Hebron, a young Palestinian armed with a knife was caught at the Tomb of the Patriarchs planning to stab the first Jew he could find.

Phew -- after all those decades of bloodshed, it sure sounds like reconciliation is finally at hand.

But hey, what's a few explosive projectiles, two would-be suicide bombers and a sharpened blade between friends? When US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is determined to throw a party, she isn't going to let pesky little details, such as Palestinian attempts to murder Israelis, get in the way of salvaging her chances at a legacy.

Peace of the brave, or peace of the knave, it hardly really seems to matter all that much to Ms. Rice. As long as the lighting is just right for the grand photo-op, and her coiffed hair is oh-so-perfectly in place, the future of the Jewish state will just have to take a back seat to more pressing concerns.

Israel Approves Release of 441 Prisoners

Livni, Olmert, Abbas
Insanity, absolute insanity. Ehud Olmert is destroying Israel from within. Does this traitorous fool not realize that he will be exterminated along with the rest of the population if the Islamists overwhelm Israel?
FROM AP.GOOGLE.COM:
Israel Approves Release of 441 Prisoners
By JOSEF FEDERMAN – 1 day ago
JERUSALEM (AP) — The Israeli Cabinet on Monday approved the release of 441 Palestinian prisoners in a gesture to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, but stopped short of U.S. demands to halt West Bank settlement construction before a crucial Mideast conference.
The Cabinet vote took place ahead of a meeting between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Abbas later in the day. The two men were trying to break a deadlock in preparations for the U.S.-hosted peace summit, which is expected to take place in Annapolis, Md., next week.
Israel sees the conference primarily as a ceremonial launching pad for new peace efforts, while the Palestinians want a more detailed plan for how post-conference talks will proceed.
Seeking to drum up support for the conference, Olmert is heading to Egypt on Tuesday for talks with President Hosni Mubarak, his office said. Arab League members are to decide on Friday whether they will join the gathering. High-level Arab attendance is seen as crucial to the success of nascent peace moves.
With the outcome of Annapolis uncertain, Israel has been under U.S. pressure to take steps, including a settlement freeze and a large-scale release of Palestinian prisoners, to bolster Abbas.
