Seven Muslims from North Carolina (NC) were recently arrested for terrorism-related charges. Frontpage previously interviewed you about Islamic Centers in NC advocating violence against America and innocent people. Are they related?

Gaubatz: Thank you Jamie.

Yes they are related. The same ideology being advocated by the seven Muslim men is exactly what is being advocated at several NC Islamic Centers and by Islamic leaders across America. I conducted research in NC several times in the last two years and the evidence forced me to rate it very high for potential for violence.

Imams and Islamic leaders are not going to openly instruct their worshippers to commit ‘physical jihad’ against countries and people who do not believe in their version of “Pure Islam,” but they will provide them materials to study advising this type action. I have repeated this for years during lectures to law enforcement and to the public.

Islamic leaders who advocate an Islamic Ummah (Nation) worldwide and under Sharia (Islamic) Law condone physical jihad to achieve this objective. One will seldom see an Islamic leader conduct a “suicide mission,” but they have no problem sending innocent children and naïve adults to do it for them. If I can go to a location a few hours and determine what is being taught to the worshippers, specifically the children, then CAIR, MSA, AMPAC, ISNA, MANA and a half dozen other IRS approved Islamic organizations fully understand what is being taught and advocated through the materials at Islamic Centers and in Islamic schools. Senator Larry Shaw (D-NC) and Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) are also aware.

Another case where importing Islam means importing all the barbaric practices that are integral with Islam. The rape and abuse of women and young girls in Islam is rampant and a fundamental aspect of the "religion".

Police are hunting a suspected illegal immigrant accused of raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl who had been forced to marry him.
The Bangladeshi, in his 40s, is also wanted over claims that he sexually assaulted the girl's 12-year-old sister.

He disappeared after the elder girl, now aged 17, contacted the Metropolitan Police on June 26 because she feared she was now being forced into a second marriage.

Specialist child abuse detectives based at Stratford were told that the girl, from an Asian family living in Bethnal Green in London's East End, had been the subject of a forced marriage in April 2007 when she was 15.

Officers have arrested a 53-year-old woman, believed to be another family member, on suspicion of aiding and abetting rape and actual bodily harm. The arrest for assault is linked to an attack on a six-year-old boy.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'The sham marriage took place at an address in the E2 area. She alleged she was subsequently raped by the man.
'Further inquiries revealed a second girl, then aged 12, had also been sexually assaulted by the man.

'A 53-year-old woman was arrested on July 7 on suspicion of aiding and abetting rape and actual bodily harm.

'She has subsequently been bailed to return on September 1 to an East London police station pending further enquiries.
'The male suspect remains outstanding and extensive police inquiries continue to trace him.'

Australian court brands Muslim leader a racist

At last, a judge with the balls to call a Muslim practicing legal jihad what he is: a dangerous man and a racist. Good for the judge, hopefully this is not an insolated incident, and judges throughout the West will stand up to Muslim scare tactics.

Sydney - Australia's best-known Muslim leader "holds views which can properly be described as racist," a Supreme Court judge said Friday when deciding against him in a defamation action he brought against a Sydney radio station. Keysar Trad, head of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, is the spokesman for Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali, the mufti of Sydney's biggest mosque.

He sought damages from 2GB radio station for its description of him as a dangerous individual who incited violence, hatred, and racism.

Justice Peter McClelland echoed that view, saying the Lebanese-born father of 11 was a dangerous person and had had encouraged hostility between Muslims and non-Muslims.

"Many of his remarks are distasteful and appear to condone violence," McClelland said. "I'm also satisfied that he encourages others to hold those views. In particular, he holds views derogatory of Jewish people."

The terrorist sues to resume his jihad from prison. The Obama administration caves in.

Last May at the National Archives, President Barack Obama warned that “more mistakes would occur” if Congress continued to politicize terrorist detention policy and the closure of Guantanamo Bay. “[I]f we refuse to deal with those issues today,” he predicted, “then I guarantee you, they will be an albatross around our efforts to combat terrorism in the future.”

On June 17, at the Administrative Maximum (ADX) penitentiary in Florence, Colo., one of those albatrosses, inmate number 24079-038, began his day with a whole new range of possibilities. Eight days earlier, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Denver filed notice in federal court that the Special Administrative Measures (SAMs) which applied to that prisoner—Richard C. Reid, a.k.a. the “Shoe Bomber”—were being allowed to expire. SAMs are security directives, renewable yearly, issued by the attorney general when “there is a substantial risk that a prisoner’s communications, correspondence or contacts with persons could result in death or serious bodily injury” to others.

Reid was arrested in 2001 for attempting to blow up American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami with 197 passengers and crew on board. Why had Attorney General Eric Holder decided not to renew his security measures, kept in place since 2002?

According to court documents filed in a 2007 civil lawsuit against the government, Reid claimed that SAMs violated his First Amendment right of free speech and free exercise of religion. In a hand-written complaint, he asserted that he was being illegally prevented from performing daily “group prayers in a manner prescribed by my religion.” Yet the list of Reid’s potential fellow congregants at ADX Florence reads like a Who’s Who of al Qaeda’s most dangerous members: Ramzi Yousef and his three co-conspirators in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui; “Millennium bomber” Ahmed Ressam; “Dirty bomber” Jose Padilla; Wadih el-Hage, Osama Bin Laden’s personal secretary, convicted in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombing that killed 247 people.

In December 2008, the Department of Justice filed a motion to dismiss Reid’s lawsuit. It cited the example of ADX inmate Ahmed Ajaj as an illustration of “the dangers inherent in permitting a group of inmates, of like mind in their opposition to the United States, to congregate for a prayer service conducted in a language not understood by most correctional officers.”

Europeans As Victims of Colonialism

Here's a great history lesson from Fjordman that illustrates the long history of Islamic slave taking of Europeans, which greatly exceeded the slave trade of Africans to Europe and the Americas. The European slave trade lasted a few hundred years. Islamic slave trade has been happening for 1400 years and is still going on. By the way, the Atlantic slave trade would not have been possible without the already well established Muslim slave trade which preyed on Africans as well as Europeans and Hindus.

Europeans As Victims of Colonialism (and Islamic slavery)

In my book Defeating Eurabia I have included a chapter entitled Fourteen Centuries of War Against European Civilization, which deals with Islamic colonization of and attacks on the European continent since the seventh century AD. This part of history, when Europeans were victims of colonialism and slave raids, deserves much more emphasis than it currently receives, when the focus is almost exclusively on the briefer European colonial period.

In 2008, demands were made that France must make reparations for its colonial past in Algeria. I’m not an expert on French colonial history, but if I recall correctly, the French were at least partly motivated for establishing themselves in Algeria due to the Barbary pirates, who continued their evil activities well into the nineteenth century. The period of French rule is the only period of civilization Algeria has experienced since the Romans. Muslims have been raiding Europe, especially the southern regions but sometimes even north of the Alps, since the seventh century. In fact, the only period during more than 1300 years when they haven’t done this was during the time of European colonialism. Moreover, there are now more North Africans in France than there ever were Frenchmen in North Africa. If non-Europeans can resist colonization and expel intruders, why can’t Europeans do the same thing?

Even among countries in Western Europe, only a minority have a significant colonial history, and several of them like Spain and Portugal had themselves been colonized before. Spain, which did have an extensive colonial empire, was herself a victim of colonialism significantly longer than she was a colonizer. As Ibn Warraq says in his book Defending the West :

“Where the French presence lasted fewer than four years before they were ignominiously expelled by the British and Turks, the Ottomans had been the masters of Egypt since 1517, a total of 280 years. Even if we count the later British and French protectorates, Egypt was under Western control for sixty-seven years, Syria for twenty-one years, and Iraq for only fifteen — and, of course, Saudi Arabia was never under Western control. Contrast this with southern Spain, which was under the Muslim yoke for 781 years, Greece for 381 years, and the splendid new Christian capital that eclipsed Rome — Byzantium — which is still in Muslim hands. But no Spanish or Greek politics of victimhood apparently exist.”

Paul Fregosi in his book Jihad in the West: Muslim Conquests from the 7th to the 21st Centuries calls Islamic Jihad “the most unrecorded and disregarded major event of history. It has, in fact, been largely ignored,” although it has been a fact of life in Europe, Asia and Africa for almost 1400 years. As Fregosi says, “Western colonization of nearby Muslim lands lasted 130 years, from the 1830s to the 1960s. Muslim colonization of nearby European lands lasted 1300 years, from the 600s to the mid-1960s. Yet, strangely, it is the Muslims…who are the most bitter about colonialism and the humiliations to which they have been subjected; and it is the Europeans who harbor the shame and the guilt. It should be the other way around.”

Dozens of bank staff taken to hospital with suspected poisoning

While this item certainly doesn't fit into my usual reporting of Islamic terrorism, it demonstrates just how easily panic and hysteria can overtake a group of people. In this case, it took only the innocent spraying of perfume to cause a panic. Islamic terrorists don't really need huge explosions to effect their goal of weakening Western resolve. As simple a thing as a small, essentially non-lethal nuclear, biological or chemical attack can trigger mass hysteria and disruption. A dirty bomb created with the small amount of radiological material from a few hundred smoke detectors could cause a stampede of people from a city. The anthrax attack of several years ago are also indicative of the economic damage a relatively non-lethal attack can cause.

Coordinating dirty bomb attacks in several cities combined with interdicting choke points on interstate highways and cutting of main power lines could cause panic and disruptions over a wide area involving millions of people. Such a scenario could be carried out by less than 100 people. If some of the so far disjointed Islamic terrorist cells ever combine, the damage they could wreak would cost trillions.

Almost 150 people needed medical treatment after a colleague in their office sprayed perfume at work.

Fire officials and paramedics had feared carbon monoxide poisoning or some kind of leak of other toxic fumes when staff in the Bank of America call centre fell ill.
Workers said they felt dizzy and short of breath and 34 had to be treated in hospital - 12 of whom were rushed there in ambulances.

AG Eric Holder Warns of 'Radicalization' of Americans

Well hello, AG Eric Holder, where the hell have you been since 9/11? Just now waking up from your long nap in Sleepy Hollow?

Until Mr. Holder, President Barack Barry Soetoro Hussein Obama and the Congress realize, or admit, that the root cause of radicalization of Muslim terrorists is the teachings ISLAM, we will not be able to effectively counter the global Jihad.

Every Muslim attack on non-Muslims is driven by one goal and one goal only: the imposition of Islamic Sharia law over all of humanity. The Koran and Muslim hatred of everything not Islamic justifies their methods in their minds.

As long as Politically Correct postures are maintained in order to not "offend" and to excuse terrorism by Muslims, we are doomed to be overwhelmed by the Islamic juggernaut that is bearing down on the West.

This latest plot to effect Islamic terrorism has fortunately been foiled. But the greater question is how many more "homegrown" and imported terrorists are now plotting their own acts of Jihad.

AG Eric Holder Warns of 'Radicalization' of Americans

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder warned on Wednesday of increased "radicalization" of Americans in recent months, two days after seven people were arrested in North Carolina for allegedly plotting attacks overseas.
Holder, the top U.S. law enforcement officer, expressed significant concerns about people going abroad and then returning to the United States with the "aim of doing harm to the American people."

"The constant scream of threats, the kind of things you have to be aware about, the whole notion of radicalization is something that didn't loom as large a few months ago ... as it does now," Holder said in an interview with ABC News.
Prosecutors on Monday unveiled a seven-count indictment charging seven people in North Carolina with plotting to carry out attacks overseas and numerous weapons possession charges.

The leader of the group, Daniel Patrick Boyd, trained in Afghanistan and Pakistan from 1989 to 1992 and used that experience to set up his own organization to train fighters, raise money and carry out attacks abroad, according to the indictment.
He was also accused of drawing his two sons into the group.

Six American citizens and one U.S. permanent resident were charged in North Carolina with, according to the Justice Department, “conspiring to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to murder, kidnap, maim and injure persons abroad.” The indictment centers around the activities of an American convert to Islam, 39-year-old Daniel “Saifullah” Boyd (a drywall contractor who was apparently the ringleader of this group). It reveals yet again the international scope of jihadist activity – giving the lie to the common Leftist assertion that various jihads around the globe are isolated nationalist insurgencies with no connection to one another.

Above all, in the words of U.S. Attorney George E.B. Holding, “these charges hammer home the point that terrorists and their supporters are not confined to the remote regions of some far away land but can grow and fester right here at home.” How did seven American citizens, with their leader a convert to Islam, get the idea that supporting terrorists and participating in terrorist training was consonant with their religion – and was, indeed, a religious obligation? Holding didn’t say. But that is the question that must ultimately be answered, and policy formulated accordingly, if homegrown jihad activity of this type is to be prevented in the future.

It all started in 1989, when, according to the indictment, Boyd went to Pakistan and Afghanistan, attended jihad training camps, and fought alongside jihadists in Afghanistan. He didn’t leave Central Asia until 1992. His wife Sabrina Boyd has pointed out indignantly that in Afghanistan in the late Eighties, Boyd was battling the Soviet invaders “with the full backing of the United States government.” Indeed. But at that time the U.S. was aiding the Afghan mujahedin against the Soviets – and once they drove the Soviets out of Afghanistan, those same mujahedin quickly dashed hopes that the U.S. had won over their hearts and minds, hewing closely to the jihadist perspective that both the Soviet Union and the United States represented Satanic superpowers at war with Islam. If Boyd was fighting alongside the Afghan mujahedin in the late Eighties and early Nineties, that hardly constitutes evidence that his commitment to America was strong, or that his commitment to jihad was weak.

Iran Supreme Leader Closes Prison Over Abuses

Well, it looks like international pressure and the dogged determination of Iranian protestors have made supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blink. For Khamenei to "close" a prison because of alleged humanitarian abuses of prisoners is pretty dramatic, but is nothing more that an excuse for the dhimmi West to grasp as a sign of giving a damn. However, this just means the prisoners have been transferred to other Iranian hell holes.

Khamenei has nowhere to go but down, so he will wield whatever brutality he can muster to squelch the protestors. Right now he's just adjusting the level of violence to keep international condemnation to a minimum. Ultimately, the success or failure of the current protests depends on the level of international pressure and the perseverance of the protestors.

At the same time, I wonder just what it is that the protestors want so badly. If it's only for the installation of Mir Hossein Mousavi, then from a Western point of view, nothing good will have been accomplished. Mousavi is just as dedicated to Iranian dominance in the region and is committed to globbal Jihad, he's just slicker than Khamenei in his dealings with the Kuffar.

So, the bottom line is that unless the protests are to overthrow ALL the mullahs and establish some sort of democratic government, the only benefit is a slowing (perhaps) of the nuclear bomb program.

Iran Supreme Leader Closes Prison Over Abuses

TEHRAN, Iran -- Iran's supreme leader ordered the closure of a prison where rights workers say protesters detained in the country's election turmoil have died, officials said Tuesday, as the head of the opposition sharply condemned the wave of arrests.

The order by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was a nod to concerns over the treatment of the hundreds arrested after the disputed June 12 presidential election. Authorities appear to be paying greater attention to the complaints after the son of a prominent conservative figure died in prison — reportedly the same one closed by Khamenei.

Besides the closure of Kahrizak prison, the head of Iran's judiciary, promised on Monday that the public prosecutor would review the situation of all the hundreds of postelection detainees within a week and decide whether to release or bring them to trial, the state news agency IRNA reported. Also, a parliament committee investigating detainees' condition is scheduled to visit Tehran's main prison, Evin, on Tuesday, according to IRNA.

At least 500 people remain in prison from the heavy crackdown launched against protests that erupted following the election, in which President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner but which the opposition says was fraudulent. Among those detained are young protesters, as well as prominent pro-reform politicians, rights activists, and lawyers.

The opposition has complained for weeks that many of the detainees are being held in secret prisons, have not had contact with their families and have undergone torture to force them to confess to stirring up unrest. At least 20 people were killed, according to police, though rights groups say the number is likely far higher. The crackdown was carried out by police, the elite Revolutionary Guards and the pro-government Basij militia.

A Horrific “Honor” Attack

It was as cold-blooded and vicious an honor crime as any the West has seen, but with one difference. This time, the victim was male.

A 24-year-old Asian man is clinging to life in a British hospital after seven men attacked him last week in London for having a friendship with a married Muslim woman.

The unidentified man, who is Muslim himself and has Danish citizenship, was stabbed twice in the back and beaten so severely with bricks that authorities report he is now blind in one eye and will probably lose sight in the other. Acid was also poured down the victim’s throat, damaging his tongue and throat so severely he will probably never speak again.

“The poor man got up and ran straight into a tree, then staggered back to his house, tugging at his burning clothes and banging on doors, shouting for water,” said one woman who witnessed the attack.

The victim’s body was also doused with acid, burning more than 50 per cent and leaving him in critical condition. News reports state he is not expected to survive. His assailants, police say, were all wearing gloves and masks for protection against the sulphuric acid, which was 92 per cent strength.

7 charged with terrorism counts in North Carolina

RALEIGH, N.C. — To those they lived among, seven men accused of an intricate terrorism plot lived simply, quietly and kindly.

To neighbors and friends, Daniel Boyd was a father who stopped his work at noon each day for prayer. Dylan Boyd, Daniel's son, was a college student at North Carolina State University who until last year worked as a clinical services tech at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan was a newlywed whose father owns a Raleigh car dealership.

To federal authorities, these men and four others plotted to kill themselves and others in the name of their religion. Their activities, tracked by FBI agents over three years and detailed in federal indictments released Monday, tell of an elaborate scheme hatched in a quiet Johnston County neighborhood and non-descript apartment complexes across Raleigh and Cary.
Those arrested include Daniel Patrick Boyd, 39, who was considered the ringleader of the group, and who fought with Afghan Muslims against the Soviets; Hysen Sherifi, 24; Anes Subasic, 33; Zakariya Boyd, 20; Dylan Boyd, 22; Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, 22; and Ziyad Yaghi, 21.

All but one of the defendants were American citizens. Sherifi was a native of Kosovo and was living in the United States legally.

All seven men are charged with conspiring to provide support to terrorists and conspiring to murder, kidnap, maim and injure persons abroad. Each is expected to have a detention hearing later this week. Until then, they are being held without bond. They have not been appointed lawyers. Efforts to reach their families were unsuccessful Monday night.

Sikhs, Hindus dread Taliban tax in Pakistan

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Sitting on a broken chair outside a Sikh temple in a crowded part of Peshawar, Aman Deep Singh is frantic about his future after losing his business in Pakistan's tribal district of Khyber.
When the Taliban gave Sikhs and Hindus an ultimatum -- leave the land of your forefathers or pay an Islamic tax in protection money -- Singh packed up and left his native Tirah valley for Peshawar.

"We were living under fear. Fear of militants, fear of Lashkar-e-Islam and fear of other armed groups," said Singh, his hair swept up in a turban, a long beard touching his abdomen and thick moustache covering his upper lip.
He swapped a general store in the mountains for unemployment in the northwest capital, where he struggles to feed the nine members of his family. Aman Deep is a fake name. He wants his real name hidden for his security.

As light fades to dusk, Sikhs gather for evening prayers at the Joga Singh gurdwara (temple) in a narrow street of Peshawar's Dabgari bazaar. Each man removes his shoes, washes his feet in a small pool of water and covers his head.
"I am not the only one. About 400 Sikh and 57 Hindu families migrated from (the town of) Bara and Tirah," said Singh.
Sikhs and Hindus are tiny communities in Pakistan. In the last year, hundreds have fled their homes after receiving death threats from the Taliban and other militant groups in an increasingly unstable northwest.

There are two versions of the head covering - to match the black of a police officer's uniform and the blue of the police community support officer's uniform

So now the police are forcing it's non-Muslim female officers, and by extension, all of Britain, to submit to Islam. If female PC's are not required to don a head scarf when entering a Catholic church then this is nothing more or less than an act of abject cowardice in the face of the Muslim violence and law suits. I suppose the officers are also required to remove their shoes before entering a mosque, thereby further delaying and rendering themselves less that ready to perform their duties.

This latest move to bow down to Islam degrades and humiliates all non-Muslims in Britain and makes the entire country into dhimmis and flunkies to Islam.

Where I a non-Muslim female officer, I would refuse to wear that symbol of submission to Islam. To wear a head scarf is tacit acceptance of the power of the plague that is Islam and a rejection of their own religion.

Women police officers are being issued with headscarves to wear when they visit a mosque.

They are expected to put the scarfs on shortly before they enter the mosque, in keeping with Islamic custom.
There are two versions - one matches the black of a police officer's uniform, while another goes with the blue uniforms worn by community support officers.
The headscarves are being given out by Avon and Somerset Police, and have the force's emblem sewn on.
They have already been given to seven officers, including Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Roberts, and eight community support officers who work with Muslim groups in the area.

Mrs Roberts said: 'It recognises and respects the cultural and religious practices of our communities. This is a very positive addition to the uniform and one which I'm sure will be a welcome item for many of our officers.'
The force said the scarves, which cost £13, can be used in other religious settings as a mark of respect - for instance to cover the shoulders of a non-uniformed officer in a church.

Islamic custom expects women to cover their head inside a place of worship.
During an official visit last year, the Queen wore a headscarf to tour the crypt and caverns of an historic Islamic shrine in Turkey.
Rashad Azami, Imam and director of the Bath Islamic Society, said: 'It is highly pleasing to see that Avon and Somerset Constabulary is introducing specially designed head coverings for female officers.

'This will go a long way in encouraging a trustful relationship between the police and the Muslim community. The police have been working closely with the Muslim community for the last few years.

'We hope this step will further strengthen the mutual relationship.'
Avon and Somerset Police caused a race row two years ago when it rejected 186 white job applicants at the first stage of selection.
The force received 800 applications for 180 jobs and 'deselected' white males to increase ethnic diversity. Chief Constable Colin Port apologised.
This year, the fire service unveiled full-length skirts, hijab headscarves and long- sleeved shirts for Muslim women recruits to wear in fire stations and for events such as school trips.

All of Canada was in shock last Thursday when police in Kingston, Ontario, announced they were charging the mother, father and 18-year-old son of an Afghan family with killing four people. While horrifying enough, the news that stunned Canadians the most was the identity of their innocent victims: their own three daughters and the Muslim husband’s first wife.

“The victims’ lives were cut short by their own family,” said Kingston police chief, Stephen Tanner, who described his police force as “greatly saddened” at the “needless and senseless loss of human life.” Charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder are father Mohammad Shafi, mother Tooba Mohammad Shafi and a son, Hamed Mohammed Shafi. The three accused were arrested last Wednesday morning when on their way to the airport in Montreal where they lived.

Zainab Shafi, 19, Sahar Shafi, 17, Geeti Shafi, 13, all sisters, and Rona Amir Mohammed, 50, were found dead three weeks ago in a black Nissan Sentra at the bottom of Canada’s famous Rideau Canal in three meters of water. Initially, the police were suspicious of their deaths but found no evidence of foul play.

“All shared the rights within our great country to live without fear, to enjoy great safety and security and to exercise freedom of choice and expression and yet had their lives cut short…,” said Tanner.
Rona Amir Mohammed was Mohammad Shafi’s first wife. Finding Rona Mohammed unable to have children, Shafi married Tooba Shafi Yahya, who bore him seven. Like other Muslims with more than one wife immigrating to a Western country where polygamy is illegal, Shafi probably had told Canadian immigration officials his first wife was a relative in order to gain entrance.

The family, which had arrived in Canada two years ago from Dubai, had stopped off at a motel near Kingston on the evening of the murders when returning to Montreal from a trip to Niagara Falls in the family’s two vehicles. The bodies were discovered the following morning.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Islamic militants in Somalia have killed eight Christians this year, along with two sons of a Christian leader, according to reports by Reuters Africa and Compass Direct News.

Nine of the 10 victims were beheaded, according to the reports.
The killings stem from the push by extremist al Shabaab insurgents to topple Somalia's West-leaning transitional government and to enforce sharia (Islamic) law in areas they control in the African nation's capital, Mogadishu, and in southern Somalia, according to the reports.

Apart from the 10 killings, neither Reuters nor Compass speculated on the overall scope of mayhem being directed at Somalia's Christians, who comprise less than 1 percent of the nation's 9.8 million people.
Compass did state, however, that al Shabaab, buttressed by foreign fighters reportedly with ties to al-Qaida, is monitoring converts from Islam and is intent on "cleansing" Christians "especially where Christian workers had provided medical aid" through a former Christian-operated hospital.
Victims of the al Shabaab violence were:
-- Mohammed Sheikh Abdiraman, leader of what Compass described as an underground "cell group" of Christians in the town of Mahadday Wayne. Abdiraman, shot to death July 20, had converted to Christianity 15 years ago. A widower, he leaves behind two children, ages 15 and 10, Compass reported.
-- Seven Somalis who were beheaded July 10 for being deemed "Christians" and "spies" by al Shabaab, according to Reuters, which quoted a relative of one victim of the attack in the town of Baldoa.
-- Two sons of a church leader who were beheaded Feb. 21, according to Compass. Their father, Musa Mohammed Yusuf, 55, formerly was the leader of an underground church in the village of Yonday. He and his wife and a third son are now refugees in Kenya.

Compass also recounted that Islamic extremists raped a 40-year-old mother of 10 children and her 23-year-old pregnant daughter as they were gathering firewood in April 2008 in the Lower Juba region of Somalia. The two women were abducted and held for five days before being left for dead. The mother told Compass that the baby born to her daughter suffers from prenatal trauma.

Last November, militants shot the 28-year-old son of another Christian leader, Salat Mberwa, and left him for dead on the outskirts of Mogadishu, Compass reported. The son, Abdi, told Compass, "There is an urgent need to help Christians in Somalia to get out as soon as possible, before they are wiped out."
United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay was quoted by Reuters July 10 as saying that various acts of violence by al Shabaab as well as pro-government forces "might amount to war crimes."
"Once order has been restored -- and one day order will be restored -- those responsible for human rights violations and abuses should, and I hope will, be brought to justice," said Pillay, a South African.

Pillay said al Shabaab insurgents have "carried out extrajudicial executions, planted mines, bombs and other explosive devices in civilian areas and used civilians as human shields." Both sides, she said, have used torture and fired mortars into civilian populations.

Reuters said al Shabaab, which means "youth" in Arabic, has "forced women to wear veils, closed down movie halls and cut off limbs for theft" under Islamic law imposed in the parts of Somalia it controls.
Al Shabaab's insurgency during the past two and a half years, Compass noted, "has killed more than 18,000 civilians, uprooted 1 million people, allowed piracy to flourish offshore and spread security fears around the region."

A PROMINENT Muslim leader is to issue a plea to abide by the law in Britain and not press for a separate parliament.

Rafiq Hayat, head of the UK branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will tell more than 30,000 followers that respecting the culture of the country they live in is key to their faith.
He will also urge against sending children to Islamic schools.
His remarks will be welcomed by ministers as a sign that Muslims are shunning political separatism. They follow growing concern over the spread of sharia courts.
Mr Hayat is to make his plea at Britain’s biggest annual Islamic convention near Alton, Hants, this weekend.

He will say: “In countries such as the UK, where the laws are just and freedom of faith was enjoined, Muslims have a duty to contribute to the well-being of the society.
“Muslims should not press for the establishment of an alternative authority or so-called Islamic parliament.”

July 24, 2009: The al Qaeda and Taliban leadership in Pakistan are having a growing problem with American UAV attacks. So far this year, the American Hellfire missiles have been used 31 times, causing 365 deaths (mostly al Qaeda or Taliban members, including over twenty senior leaders). For all of 2008, there were 36 attacks, causing 317 deaths. The UAV campaign actually began in earnest 11 months ago. Since then, there have been over fifty attacks, causing over 500 deaths. The rate of attacks has been increasing this year. While the terrorist groups are concerned about the losses, especially among the leadership, what alarms them the most is how frequently the American UAVs are finding their key people. The real problem the terrorists have is that someone is ratting them out. Someone, or something, is helping the Americans find the terrorist leaders. It wasn't always that way. In 2007, there were only five UAV attacks, three in 2006, one in 2005 and one in 2004. Back then, it wasn't just the lack of identified targets that kept the UAVs away, but fewer UAVs, and Pakistani resistance to American UAVs making attacks inside Pakistan (even though the targets were terrorists attacking Pakistanis, including senior leaders.) By 2008, the Pakistanis changed their mind.

This Hellfire campaign is hitting al Qaeda at the very top, although only 22 percent of the attacks so far have taken out any of the most senior leaders. But that means over half the senior leadership have been killed or badly wounded. Perhaps even greater damage has been done to the terrorist middle management. These are old and experienced lieutenants, as well as young up-and-comers. They are the glue that holds al Qaeda and the Taliban together. Their loss is one reason why it's easier to get more information on where leaders are, and why rank-and-file al Qaeda and Taliban are less effective of late..

While al Qaeda believes local Pakistanis are responsible for leaking location information to the Americans, it's a bit more complicated than that. First of all, the U.S. has had a good informant network in the Pakistani tribal territories for the last few years, especially in the Taliban heartland of North and South Waziristan. This is a relatively small area (11,500 square kilometers) of mountains and forests along the Afghan border.

Hindu students denied access to to Multi-Faith Centre

Here's another example of Muslim arrogance, intolerance and aggression toward non-Muslims.

As part of their “Sewa Week” (a week for which the National Hindu Students Forum holds various service based activities, the QMW Hindu Society organized to use the University’s Multi-Faith Centre every day from 6pm-8.30pm for one week, to recite the Hanuman Chalisa.

The Multi-Faith Centre is also booked by Islamic Students Society from 12pm to 6pm for the entire year. After 6pm the Islamic Students Society had another room allocated to them which they could use until late.

From the outset of the week, the Hindu students were prevented from being able to access the Multi-Faith Centre by the Islamic students who refused to vacate the centre. To justify not being willing to share the centre with other faith groups they said that there is no demand for the use of the Multi-Faith Centre by other faith communities and they cannot therefore allow Hindus to use the premises even though they have a valid booking for its use. An article written several months before the incident shows that the Islamic Students Society dissaproved of other faiths sharing the premises (click here).

The Hindu society committee sent letters to the Principal, Chancellor and the Students’ Union (SU) of the university. The Students’ Union sent letters to the Islamic students asking them to respect bookings made my other students.
On Thursday, after three days of being prevented from entering the Multi-Faith Centre, security guards accompanied the Hindu students to ensure that the rooms were vacated as scheduled. Far from gaining entry to the Centre, they were verbally threatened by a group of Muslim students who far outnumbered them.

Rather than tackle this unacceptable behaviour resolutely, the security guards and Students Union suggested that the Hindu students should use an alternative room to conduct their prayers and forget about the booking. The Hindu students society rightfully rejected this offer as a wholly unsatisfactory solution to a serious breach of their rights.

The QMW Hindu Society together with the NHSF contacted and got the support of various other students at QMW and other Hindu groups, who turned out together in larger numbers on Friday.

On Friday, once again, the QMW Islamic Students Society refused to vacate the Multi-Faith Centre at 6pm, and placed a group near the door to prevent anyone from entering. The QMW Hindu Society and other supporters, including non-Hindu students, decided to start their program outside the doors of the centre and sang the Hanuman Chalisa loud and proud. Gradually the Islamic Society members emptied out of the Centre over a long period, and the Hindu Students Society moved into the Centre for the first time in next week.

President Obama's unwillingness to allow the American public to see his records at Harvard Law School prevents resolution of a continuing controversy over whether radical Islamic influences promoted his admission and financed his legal education there.

In an appearance on the New York-produced "Inside City Hall" television show, octogenarian Harlem lawyer Percy Sutton – whose clients included Malcolm X – explained that Islamic radical Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour, "one of the world's wealthiest men," asked him to write a letter of recommendation to Harvard Law School for then relatively unknown Barack Obama.
In the video, Sutton says he was introduced to Obama by al-Mansour, a Saudi citizen, who "was then raising money" for Obama.

Sutton described al-Mansour as being from Texas, saying al-Mansour was the "principal adviser to one of the world's richest men," most likely Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

Sutton says al-Mansour told him about Obama, saying in a letter, "There's a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends left there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?"

On air, Sutton confirmed he did write the letter, telling his friends at Harvard, "I thought there was going to be a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly."
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Ben Smith of Politico reported the Obama campaign's flat denial of Sutton's story.

Smith was not able to get in touch with Sutton, whose advanced age had raised questions whether his memory of writing a letter of recommendation for Obama was confused.

Smith did reach al-Mansour, who confirmed Sutton was "a dear friend, his health is not good" and said he's sure Sutton wrote a letter for someone else, "and he got it confused."
Yesterday, WND e-mailed a request to Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor, asking that the White House release Obama's law school records to resolve the issue.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Vietor was a frequent spokesman for the Obama campaign's "Fight the Smears" website, which has been removed from the Internet.

WND received no response from Vietor or from the White House press office, which was copied on the e-mail.
Investigative journalist Jack Cashill has reported in WND that al-Mansour serves on the board of, among others, Saudi African Bank and was responsible for the Africa investment activities of Kingdom Holdings, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal's investment company.

Iran puts finishing touches on a desert A-test site east of Tehran

This is disturbing news indeed and all the more reason for Israel to take out the critical infrastructure of the Iranian nuclear weapons program, real soon. Setting up for a test nuclear bomb is indicatioin certain that the Iranians are close to their first bomb. In parallel, they have been getting aid from North Korea and China to develope long raange missiles capable of delivering nuclear warheads. The international repercussions of an Israeli will be significant, with a spike in oil prices and lots of shouting and threats but it must be done. The consequences of a nuclear armed Iran would be far more damaging than any repercussions from an Israeli strike. With the ongoing Iranian demonstrations and division among the mullahs, there will not be a better time for Israel to act.

Another consequence of an Israeli attack will be for a surge of Islamic terrorism taking place in many places by many types of Jihadists. Everything from an individual succumbing to Sudden Jihad Syndrome, to organized terrorist cells, to large international attacks by international groups can be expected. But that will bring the extent of the international jihad into the open and (hopefully) galvanize Western governments to action to repel the invasion. Western countries with troublesome Muslim populations must find ways to reduce their numbers

DEBKAfile's military sources reveal that Iran is in the last stages of construction of a nuclear test site in the Kavir Lut desert between Tehran and its eastern border with Afghanistan. The work is managed by the Iranian experts invited to attend North Korea's nuclear test this year. (DEBKAfile reported June 27 that Iran has opened the way for a nuclear test.)

Two of the diplomats attached to the UN nuclear watchdog agency in Vienna confirmed to the Associated Press Saturday July 18 that Iran now has the means to test a weapon within six months. One said more specifically: "Iran has the capacity, if not the intention, to set off a test explosion in six months."
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the two diplomats emphasized there were no indications of plans for a nuclear test and in their opinion Iran is unlikely to risk heightened confrontation with the West and chances of an Israeli attack with such a course.

For the last six months, DEBKAfile's intelligence sources have all stressed that this supposition is wishful thinking having confirmed that Iran is squarely on the fast track for an N-test. Once preparations are complete, its leaders will not hesitate to conduct one, following the North Korean model.

And indeed the two diplomats in Vienna admitted the Iranians were blocking UN nuclear agency attempts to upgrade monitoring resources.
As recently as July 9, DEBKAfile's military sources reported: "The US, Europe - and even the Binyamin Netanyahu government - appear to have adopted the same strategy for North Korea and Iran. It is a combination of harsh oral rebukes coupled with a refusal to address North Korea's violations and Iran's race for a nuclear bomb in any practical way, even though sanctions are clearly of no effect at all.
A blind eye is equally turned to the close collaboration between Pyongyang and Tehran on their missile and nuclear development programs. The two rogue states are also clearly in tune on their nuclear diplomacy and timetables.

According to DEBKAfile's intelligence sources, North Korea shared the results of its latest missile launches with Iran, exactly as it did after its nuclear and ballistic tests. But neither Washington nor Jerusalem has raised a hand. Both nuclear transgressors are getting away with the gross, ongoing proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and making a mockery of international law and UN resolutions."

Therefore, the diplomat's estimate Saturday that the Iranians will not risk confrontation with the West or chance an Israeli attack is completely unfounded, as are the theories that the Iranian leadership is in too shaky a position at home to go forward with a nuclear test. As soon as the test site is ready, supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will not be deterred from taking the nuclear plunge by the unrest at home, any more than grave illness has stopped Kim Jong-II flouting international prohibitions.

Still, the US and Europe will not fall out of their chairs because they have given the ayatollahs all the time they needed to attain a nuclear weapon.

'Harsh Islamic punishments will make Britain safer'

London, July 22 (ANI): The Founder of Britain's oldest Sharia court has said that harsh Islamic punishments, such as the amputation of limbs, will make Britain a safer place.

The Daily Times quoted Sheikh Suhaib Hasan, secretary of the Islamic Sharia Council, as saying that the enforcement of Sharia law was "something to bring you more peace and security".

Hasan, president of an East London Sharia court, admitted that that he doesn't expect Britain to implement Islamic criminal laws as it is not a Muslim country.

He, however, added that problems such as 'knife crimes' would be resolved if harsher punishments were meted out because they worked as a deterrent.

Acknowledging the controversy surrounding any notion of support for hardline Islamic law in Britain, he said he was merely expressing his point of view as a devout Muslim. (ANI)

File this under Enemy Within. In this case the enemy is Wal-Mart for capitulating to a Muslim Jihadist waging lawfare. This is another case of the Islamic Global Jihad using lawfare and disinformation as to Islamic requirements for prayer in order to insinuate another accommodation for Muslims. Each accommodation diminishes America's freedoms and advances the Islamic invasion of the West.

CAIR is claiming victory in yet another encroachment on our freedoms in the advancement of the implementation of sharia law.

In a craven capitulation to Islamic supremacism, Wal-Mart will accommodate Muslim prayer in the workplace. It is not for us to bend to the will of Islam.
Mind you, it is not necessary for a Muslim to prayer at a certain time. These actions are merely devices in which to impose Islam on non-believers. Prayer is not required on a strict schedule and Muslim prayers are commonly “made up” after work or school. This is true even in Muslim countries, i.e., Iran.

Walmart Rehires Fired Muslim Worker (Star Tribune)

A major retail chain has rehired a fired Muslim employee in the Twin Cities and is now accommodating his right to pray in the workplace, an Islamic civil rights organization in Minnesota is reporting.
The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations announced Monday that Walmart agreed to the accommodation after CAIR-MN intervened on behalf of employee Abdi Abdi, who was fired from his job in February as a stocker and loader at the Woodbury store.

CAIR-MN says that Abdi, a four-year employee with Walmart, was let go for violating a new supervisor's ban on prayer during work breaks. A previous supervisor had allowed him to perform his daily prayers, the organization said.
Abdi was rehired last month at a Walmart in St. Paul and is now allowed to pray during breaks, following negotiations between CAIR-MN and local and national representatives of Walmart, the St. Paul-based rights group said.
"We appreciate Walmart's handling of this case and its willingness to accommodate the religious practices of employees," CAIR-MN Civil Rights Coordinator Zahra Aljabri said.

Abdi was rehired at the Walmart in the Midway area of St. Paul because it is closer to his home, his wife works there and managers at that store are "more familiar with the prayer schedule," Aljabri said. "At least a dozen" Muslims work at the Midway Walmart, she said.

As part of the agreement, Walmart has agreed to send about 10 of their employees for diversity training next month that CAIR-MN is conducting, Aljabri said. (Diversity training means brain washing and browbeating into shutting up and not criticizing Islam- ed.)

(IsraelNN.com) Heads of the Pikuach Nefesh rabbinical committee have begun collecting the signatures of rabbis in Israel on a letter to United States President Barack Obama. The letter demands that Obama cease talking about ending Jewish construction in Jerusalem and stop pressuring Israel in that direction.
In a reference to the upcoming “nine days” which culminate in Tisha B’Av, the rabbis tell Obama that “during these days, in which the Jewish people mourns the destruction of Jerusalem and marks the disgraceful memory of its destroyers, we are certain that you, Mr. Barack Obama, do not want to enter that disreputable list of those who raise their hand to strike Jerusalem and those who live in it.”

The rabbis note that during his visit to the Middle East, Obama showed “impressive erudition” in the Koran. “As one who is familiar with the Koran, you surely know that the city of Jerusalem is not even mentioned in it once,” they said.

Jews pray towards one place

“The Arab and Muslim world never recognized Jerusalem as belonging to it,” the letter went on. “On the other hand, all of the world’s nations knew for thousands of years that the Jews pray towards one place only – the holy city of Jerusalem.”
The rabbis added that even putting aside the city’s enormous sanctity and importance for the Jewish people, there is no realpolitik logic behind any concession to the PA. “Since Israel began negotiations, withdrawals and concessions to the Palestinians, the entire world is witness to the justice of the Jewish Law (Halacha) which determines that any such concession will entail another round of bloodshed and deepen mistrust and dangers,” they agreed.

The rabbinical letter ends with a clear request: “If you, Mr. Obama. Wish to leave any chance at all for peace and quiet in the Middle East, take your hands off the Holy City of Jerusalem right now!”

Two hundred and fifty rabbis have signed the appeal, and efforts are being made to collect the signatures of almost every single rabbi in Israel before the letter is sent to Washington.

Violence Explodes in Iran; Video Shows Shooting of Protestors

The people of Iran continue to defy the Mullahs and are paying the price in blood. Where the hell is America? Why the hell doesn't Obama step up and voice total support for the protestors in Iran?

By the Obama administration's own standards, this is a crisis that should not be wasted. Even a modicum of support from outside would carry the protestors to victory over the Mullocracy. Toppling the regime would open the door to halting the development of nuclear weapons. Overthrow of the Mullahs would also reduce, but not stop, support for Hezbollah, Hamas and Syria.

All in all, the overthrow of the current Iranian regime could only be a great plus for the whole world. And yet Obama, the EU, Russia and China defend the Iranian despots.

Violence Explodes in Iran; Video Shows Shooting of Protestors

(IsraelNN.com) Iranian Revolutionary Guards and riot police clubbed and arrested dozens of demonstrators on Tuesday as renewed protests continued to sweep the country, nearly two months after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared he had won re-election. Opponents charge that the results were rigged.

on Tuesday that clearly shows police forces and a security official, dressed in a suit, shooting towards protestors. Other footage shows the protestors being viciously clubbed. The date of the video is not known.

Messages on the Twitter messaging network Tuesday night appealed to the outside world for help and reported that a larger protest is planned for Saturday despite a government ban on street gatherings.

“Someone tortured for info for days, then discovered he was deaf and mute,” one Twitter message stated.

Others reported, “Basij militia forcibly marry virgin prisoners, raping them making it religiously acceptable to execute them. Allah is ashamed; Iranian gov paying foreigner Basijis to attack unarmed Iranian people. Iran unite against this invasion; and, today there was more girls and women than men in Tir SQ the females are fighting harder than ever in history of Iran.”

One message reported that Tehran was under a power blackout as hundreds, and possibly thousands, shouted from rooftops and turned off their electricity before turning on heavy duty appliances simultaneously to create a power surge. The Iranian blackout on Internet and media reports has created a dark cloud over the country. Reporters Without Borders said that the Iranian government, "recognizing the growing influence of blogs, is trying to reduce their space, filtering and trapping sites that host them.”

One eyewitness told Reuters of India, “There are hundreds of riot police and plainclothes beating people who gathered to support [opposition leader Mir Hossein] Mousavi." Police took away dozens of protestors. Hundreds of Iranians have “disappeared” since the protests began.

The large number of militia men in civilian clothes indicates an increasing military presence, and a BBC correspondent reported that many Iranians see the Guards’ presence as confirmation that the election results were in fact a “thinly-veiled military coup.”

The New York Times reported that the Revolutionary Guards’ have been staging a gradual, partial de facto coup that has taken more power out of the hands of Muslim clerics, who officially rule the country.
The newspaper quoted Iranian expert Rasool Nafisi as saying, “It is not a theocracy anymore. It is a regular military security government with a facade of a Shiite clerical system.”

Saudi Arabia – The World's Largest Women's Prison

The title of this article, "Saudi Arabia – The World's Largest Women's Prison" is correct as far as it goes but misses the fact that one half of the 1.5 billion Muslims are women and therefore subject to variations of Sharia law some of which are even more draconian than in Saudi Arabia. It also misses the fact that ALL Muslims are slaves to Islam with death as the penality for leaving.

In an article on the liberal website Minbar Al-Hiwar Wal-'Ibra (http://www.menber-alhewar1.info ), reformist Saudi journalist and human rights activist Wajeha Al-Huweidar described Saudi Arabia as "the world's largest women's prison." She added that unlike real prisoners, Saudi women have no prospect of ever being released, since throughout their life, they are under the control of a male guardian - their husband, father, grandfather, brother or son.
Huweidar and other women activists recently launched a campaign against the Saudi Mahram [1] Law, which forbids women to leave their home without a male guardian. She told the Kuwaiti daily Awan that the campaign, whose slogan is "treat us like adult citizens or we leave the country," was officially launched at the King Fahd Bridge, connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, where the women demanded to cross the border without a guardian. [2]

Prisoners Can Be Released From Prison - But Saudi Women Can't
"The laws of imprisonment are known all over the world. People who commit a crime or an offense are placed in a prison cell... where they serve their sentence. [When they complete it], or get time off for good behavior, they are released... except in cases [where a person is sentenced] to life imprisonment or death. In Saudi Arabia, there are two additional ways to get out of prison early: by learning the Koran or parts of it by heart... or by getting a pardon from the king on the occasion of a holiday or a coronation - after which the prisoner finds himself free and can enjoy life among his family and loved ones.

"However, none of these options exist for Saudi women - neither for those who live behind bars [i.e. who are actually in prison] nor for those who live outside the prison walls. None are ever released, except with the permission of their male guardian. A Saudi woman who committed a crime may not leave her cell when she has finished serving her sentence unless her guardian arrives to collect her. As a consequence, many Saudi women remain in prison just because their guardians refuse to come and get them. The state pardons them, but their guardians insist on prolonging their punishment.
"At the same time, even 'free' women need the permission of their guardian to leave their home, their city or their country. So in either case, the woman's freedom is [in the hands of] her guardian."

RAWALPINDI: Violence against women goes unnoticed and unchecked in Rawalpindi exposing the fact that performance of government and non-government organisations in this sector is below expectation.

Police record of first six and a half months of this year shows that 10-15 women have been honour-killed; 14 girls and women raped; two have become victims of acid throwing, one of whom died of burns; over 15 physically tortured and over 70 kidnapped.

It is soothing that the number of cases of violence against women remains less this year than the year before.

Honour killing: In the worst honour killing case, a woman and her aunt were killed in full view of a Jirga in the limits of Westridge Police Station.

Mubarrak Shah told police that he organised a Jirga to get his daughter Behmina divorced when her husband, along with four accomplices, opened indiscriminate fire on the participants, killing Behmina and her aunt Hakim Jan on the spot. Three more people were killed in the incident also. The police are still investigating the case.
